The invention relates to a protective fitting with an outer plate covering the locking cylinder, the door handle area and the fastening of the protective fitting, a resilient protective cap being provided for covering the locking cylinder, in which a cover disk rotatably mounted in the protective cap and having a key slot is provided.
Such a protective fitting can be found in German utility model G 8 710 518.7. However, this security fitting has disadvantages. To attach it to the door, a base plate is required, which must be screwed onto the door before the protective fitting is arranged. In order to give the security fitting the necessary resistance to drilling attempts, a drill-resistant lower plate is provided, which is screwed together with the base plate and onto which the outer plate is then attached. The position of the fastening screws is fixed so that it is not possible to adapt them to differently dimensioned inner plates. However, this adjustment is necessary if the inner plate lying on the inside of the door is to be adapted to the other door plates in the same room.
According to the prior art, the protective cap covering the locking cylinder to the outside is provided as a relatively thin-walled metal cap which tends to tilt and is not sufficiently resistant to drilling. The suspension takes place via leaf springs, which take up a lot of space in the fitting.
With the present invention, a protective fitting is to be created which avoids the disadvantages described. The position of the fastening screws should be variable and the door handle itself should be able to be arranged in different heights in the simplest possible way. A base plate should be avoided and the drilling resistance of the protective cap should be improved.
The present invention is characterized in that the protective cap is made of hard material such as hardened steel, the thickness of which corresponds at least to the thickness of the outer shield, and has a recess in the lock cylinder receiving the shape of the lock cylinder, and that above and below the Protective cap are arranged in the outer plate of hard material inserts and that for fastening the outer plate to the door and / or with an inner plate arranged on the inside of the door without a fastening plate, the outer plate has two longitudinal slots on its flat plane facing the door, which are extended towards the sides of the outer plate and thus form undercuts, and that fastening sleeves with projections engaging in the undercuts are provided,
which each have an internal thread for screwing in the fastening screws, the position of the fastening sleeves within the longitudinal slots being freely adjustable and that for fastening the door handle in the outer plate a door handle opening is provided for receiving a cylindrical shaft of the door handle, the door handle opening opening into a plate recess in the outer plate that the shaft is flattened at least on one side and that a hardened steel plate is inserted in the shield recess, which has a holding slot for receiving the flattened shaft. Further advantageous features of the invention can be found in the patent claims, the description and the drawings.
1 and 2 show, placed side by side, in an exploded view the protective fitting with all parts and the door in the lock area. 3 and 4 show sections at the height of arrows III, IV in Fig. 1st
1 and 2, the protective fitting comprises the outer shield 1 and the inner shield 2, the protective fitting being fastened to the door 3 on both sides of the lock 4. The lock cylinder for actuating the lock 4 is not shown in the figure for the sake of simplicity. Its assembly takes place in the recess 5 of the door 3 and the two ends of the locking cylinder usually protrude on both sides of the door leaf.
The outer shield 1 has a shield recess 6 in length, but is largely closed to the outside from solid material. There are only two openings, namely through the protective cap opening 7 and the door handle opening 8.
The outer shield 1 has two longitudinal slots 9 on the inside, which are expanded towards the sides on the inside and thus form undercuts 10 (see FIG. 3). In the longitudinal slots 9 each have a fastening sleeve 11, the lateral extensions 12 of which engage in the undercuts 10. The flattened collars 13 prevent the fastening sleeve 11 from rotating in the longitudinal slot 9. The axial internal threads 14 serve to receive the fastening screws 15.
Hard material pins 16 are inserted in the bottom of the longitudinal slots 9, which prevent the protective fitting from being drilled open in this sensitive area.
The protective cap 17, which preferably has a circular cross section, is arranged in the protective cap opening 7. The protective cap 17 is made of solid hardened steel, and its thickness corresponds at least to the thickness of the outer shield. On the inside, it has a recess 18 which receives the locking cylinder and is adapted to the shape of the locking cylinder. The protective cap is formed in one piece with a support plate 19. Four compression springs 20 lie between the bottom 21 of the shield recess 6 and the support plate 19. The limiting screws 22 limit the one end position of the protective cap 17. Within the permissible spring clearance, the protective cap 17 can be moved freely within the protective cap opening 7 and the shield recess 6 (FIG. 4 ).
This measure ensures that the cylinder board is automatically compensated, the front end of the protective cap 17 being correspondingly pushed more or less outwards through the protective cap recess 7.
In the recess 18, a cover plate 23 is fixedly arranged in the bore for the cylinder core, which is rotatably held by a retaining ring 24. The key slot 25 allows the key to be inserted into the corresponding key channel of the lock cylinder.
A hardened steel plate 26, which has a holding slot 27, is also inserted in the shield recess 6. The door handle 28 projects with its shaft 29 through the door handle opening 8 into the shield recess 6. At its end, the shaft 29 is flattened on both sides so that it fits into the holding slot 27. Furthermore, the shaft 29 is provided with an axial internal thread 30 into which a screw sleeve 31 can be screwed. The screw head 32 covers the holding slot 27 of the hardened steel plate 26 and fixes both the door handle 28 and the steel plate 26 with the outer plate 1.
Furthermore, the screw sleeve 31 has an internal thread 33 into which the door handle mandrel 34 can be screwed.
According to FIG. 2, the inner plate 2 with the door handle 35 lies on the other side of the door. The adjusting screw 36 can be screwed more or less into the door handle mandrel 34. The locking screw 37 engages behind the head of the adjusting screw 36 and thus fixes the door handle 35. The door width and fitting thicknesses can be compensated for by the screw 36 and the threaded end of the door handle mandrel 34.
As can easily be seen, the protective fitting and in particular the outer shield can be easily adjusted with regard to the spacing of the fastening holes 38 by the fastening sleeves 11 being correspondingly displaced in the longitudinal slots 9.
Furthermore, the position of the door handle opening 8 can also be adapted to the position of the door handle 35, in that the door handle opening 8 is drilled accordingly in the final production, as far as the holding slot 27 permits. The door handle 28 is preferably dimensionally designed such that the material covers the holding slot 27 in such a way that the holding slot 27 cannot be drilled through.
As can easily be seen, the protective fitting is drill-resistant over its entire length, since the hard material elements such as hard metal pins 16, hardened steel plate 26 and protective cap 17 are made of drill-safe material.
