Claims (21)

  1. Frame hinge (10) for accommodating a leaf hinge, having at least one bore (12) for receiving a bolt and having a height adjusting device (14), wherein the frame hinge (10) comprises a slide (16) which can be fixedly connected to a frame and around which a shell part (18) at least partly engages, and in that the shell part (18) can be moved relative to the slide (16) by means of the height adjusting device (14), wherein the height adjusting device (14) is an adjusting unit (70) which can be set in the slide (16), is in contact with the shell part (18) and is able to change the contact point of the shell part (18) in terms of position with respect to the slide (16), wherein the adjusting unit (70) comprises a screw (70) extending in the direction of the bore (12) and the height adjusting device (14) consists of a thread provided in the slide (16) and the setting screw (70) rotatable therein, characterised in that the head (72) of the setting screw (70) is supported against a wall of a slide-in element (76) of the frame hinge (10), which element is inserted in an opening (79) in the shell part (18) in a rotationally fixed manner.
  2. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the slide (16) terminates at most flush with the shell part (18) at the end positions of the height adjusting device (14).
  3. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 2, characterised in that on the hinge upper side a counter-bearing (30) can be mounted on the shell part (18).
  4. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in Claim 3, characterised in that the counter-bearing (30) and/or the frame hinge (10) comprises a sleeve (32).
  5. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the slide (16) comprises at least one receptacle (34) for mounting a support pin (36).
  6. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the slide (16) and the shell part (18) each comprise at least one corresponding recess (38), which recesses accommodate a fastening means (40) by means of which they can be connected to the frame together, wherein either in the slide (16) or in the shell part (18) the recess (38) is an elongate hole.
  7. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that an element (42) of the shell part (18) is disposed between the frame and slide (16).
  8. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that it is an injection-moulded or extruded part.
  9. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that it consists of metal, synthetic material or a combination thereof.
  10. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the shell part (18) can be moved relative to the slide (16) by means of a lateral adjusting device (56).
  11. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in Claim 10, characterised in that the lateral adjusting device (56) consists of at least one adjusting element (58) co-operating with the slide (16) for the lateral movement of the shell part (18).
  12. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in Claim 11, characterised in that the adjusting element (58) is formed as an adjusting screw (62) engaging through a threaded bore (60) in the slide (16), which adjusting screw is supported with its head against the shell part (18).
  13. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 10 to 12, characterised in that at least one pressure piece (66) is disposed between an inner wall (64) of the shell part (18) and the slide (16).
  14. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in Claim 10, characterised in that the adjusting element (58) is formed as an eccentric.
  15. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 10 to 14, characterised in that the recesses (38; 48) of the shell part (18) are formed as flat apertures whose vertical extension delimits the height displaceability and whose horizontal extension delimits the lateral displaceability of the shell part (18).
  16. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 15, characterised in that the slide-in element (76) is disposed in the opening (79) in the shell part (18) in a self-locking manner.
  17. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 16, characterised in that the opening (79) is formed as a bore passing through the shell part (18) and the slide-in element (76) is mounted in the front wall of the shell part (18) in a rotationally-fixed manner.
  18. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 17, characterised in that a through-bore (82) is provided in the slide-in element (76) and/or a hole (84) is provided in the cap (50) for actuating the setting screw (70).
  19. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 2 and 5 to 18, characterised in that a cover cap (86) is provided for covering the slide (16) and for accommodating a frame hinge sleeve (92).
  20. Frame hinge (10) as claimed in Claim 19, characterised in that the frame hinge sleeve (92) is disposed in a holding ring (90) of the cover cap (86) in a rotationally-fixed manner.
  21. Frame hinge as claimed in Claim 19 or 20, characterised in that the frame hinge sleeve (92) or the holding ring (90) is formed eccentrically.
