Die Erfindung betrifft einen koaxialen Steckverbinder der im Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1 genannten Art. The invention relates to a coaxial connector of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1.
Steckverbinder dieser Gattung für hochwertige Koaxialkabel, insbesondere solche mit massivem Aussenleiter, der glatt, schraubenförmig gewellt oder ringförmig gewellt sein kann, sind allgemein bekannt. Die scheinbar einfache Lösung, bei einem Steckverbinder der vorliegenden Gattung den Aussenleiter mit dem Steckverbindergehäuse zu verlöten, setzt die Erkenntnis voraus, dass die Intermodulati-onssignale mit dem gemessenen Pegel ihre Ursache in der bisherigen Art der mechanischen Kontaktierung haben, dass nämlich bei dieser Art der Kontaktierung der Kontaktwiderstand einen wenn auch sehr kleinen nichtlinearen Anteil hat, der die Ursache für die Entstehung von Intermodulationssi-gnalen ist. Zurückzuführen ist dieser nichtlineare Anteil vermutlich auf die im Kontaktierungsbereich aufeinandertreffenden, gewöhnlich unterschiedlichen Metalle und vor allem deren Oberflächenoxyde, die wiederum bei den für die Aussenleiter von Koaxialkabeln meist verwendeten Metallen, nämlich Kupfer bzw. Kupferlegierungen und Aluminium, unvermeidbar sind. Die allgemein bekannte halbleitende Wirkung beispielsweise von Kupferoxydul könnte als Bestätigung der diesseitigen Vermutung angesehen werden. Der Kabelaussenleiter 3 ist im Kontaktierungsbereich 20 über seinen gesamten Aussenumfang mit der Innenwand des Steckverbindergehäuses 13 verlötet, das einstückig ausgebildet ist und ein zu der schraubenförmigen Wellung des Kabelaussenlei-ters 3 komplementäres Profil hat, wie bei 13a angedeutet. Bei dieser Ausführungsform müssen das Steckverbinderdielektrikum 12 und das Innenleiterkontaktelement 11 von der Steckseite, also in der Zeichnung von links, eingebaut werden.
