Abstract

The connector consists of a cylindrical body (5) containing a threaded metal shell (9) which is screwed onto the spiral wrapping of the cable under the insulating sleeve. A rubber joint (11) fits over the threaded shell and is compressed by the fine threaded insert (13). The threaded shell (9) is slotted longitudinally to allow for some flexibility in its dia.
