BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 1 eine geschnittene Seitenansicht eines Abzugs, und
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a deduction according to the preamble of claim 1.
Fume cupboards of this type are also known as chapels and are used in particular for experiments in laboratories in which gases or vapors are generated. The sliding window is usually pushed upwards to work in the chamber and underneath it is a ventilation gap through which air is drawn out of the laboratory even when the window is closed. A suction fan is usually provided for extracting the exhaust air through the exhaust air duct, with a plurality of exhaust air ducts usually being connected to a common suction fan.
The problem with extractors of this type is that, on the one hand, as little room air as possible should be extracted from the laboratory, since to replace the extracted room air, air-conditioned and therefore high energy costs must be supplied and, on the other hand, the amount of exhaust air should be as large as possible , so that no harmful gases or vapors can flow back into the laboratory when working in the chamber.
The invention has for its object to reliably prevent the outflow of gases or vapors from the chamber and still consume as little room air as possible.
The inventive solution to this problem is the subject of claim 1. Preferred embodiments are described in claims 2 to 8. The subject of claim 9 is a use of the deduction.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a sectional side view of a trigger, and
Fig. 2 is a schematic representation of a control and regulating device of the fume cupboard.
The extractor (chapel) shown in Fig. 1 of a laboratory has a chamber 2 supported on a frame 1, to which an exhaust air duct 6 is connected, which, together with exhaust air ducts of further fume cupboards arranged in the laboratory, opens into a main exhaust air duct (not shown) in which a suction fan is arranged. A throttle valve 21 controlled by a control and regulating device 10 is arranged in the exhaust air duct 6. The bottom of the chamber 2 is designated 3, the ceiling 4 and the rear wall 5. The chamber 2 is accessible through a sliding window 7, which is drawn in the half-open position and is in the fully open position with its handle 8 on the lower edge of the front wall 9.
In the closed position, a narrow slot remains open between the handle 8 and the chamber bottom 3, so that an exhaust air flow is possible even when the window is closed.
The window 7 hangs on two traction means 13, which are guided via deflection rollers 11 into an intermediate space between the rear wall 5 of the chamber 2 and the laboratory wall 12, to which a weight 14 is fastened. The two weights 14 together compensate for the weight of the window 7 so that it is kept in balance in any position.
One of the traction means 13 visible in the drawing consists of a chain, the tower of which extends between the deflection rollers 11 engages in a chain wheel 15. The sprocket 15 is part of a measuring device 16 which has a pneumatic sensor. (The control and regulation described below takes place pneumatically in the exemplary embodiment, but it could of course also, for example,
done electrically.)
The measuring device 16 has a counter which counts the revolutions of the chain wheel 15 when the window 7 is moved. The counter is at 0 when the window is in the closed position. When the window is opened, with the sprocket 15 rotating clockwise, the counter counts forwards, when the window with the sprocket rotates counterclockwise, the counter counts backwards, so that after opening and closing the window, it counts again in the 0 Position is. The measured value transmitter gives a measured value corresponding to the respective counter reading of the counter via a line 17 to the control part 18 of the control and regulation device 10. The control part 18 controls the reference variable of the controller 20 of the control part 19 of the device 10.
With the measured value 0 (closed window), the reference variable is set to a predetermined minimum value of the exhaust air flow, with the largest measured value reached after the window 7 has been completely opened, the reference variable is set to a predetermined maximum value for the exhaust air flow. In between, the command variable is set proportionally to the measured value increasing with the window opening in the range between the minimum and the maximum value of the exhaust air flow. The controlled variable of the controller 20 is arranged in the exhaust air duct 6 in the flow direction after the throttle valve 21, the flow probe 22, for. B. a velocity orifice plate, which determines the flow velocity by measuring the pressure difference between two points.
The controller 20 compares the control and command variable and, after the difference between the two variables, sends an actuating signal to an actuating device 23, which adjusts the throttle valve 21 accordingly, so that the flow velocity in the exhaust air duct 6 corresponds to the command variable defined by the control part 18 in accordance with the window opening.
The control part 18 is connected to a timer 24, which at the beginning and at the end of the operating time, i. H. gives the work time of the laboratory personnel an operation start and an operation end control command to the control part 18.
After an operating start control command has been received, that is to say during the operating time, the control part 18 controls the reference variable of the controller 20 in the manner specified above according to the measured value emitted by the measuring device 16, i. H. after the position of the window 7. After an end-of-operation control command has been received, that is to say outside of the operating hours, in particular at night, the control part 18 gives a predetermined, constant command variable to the controller 20. This is expediently equal to the command variable that the control part has for the measured value 0, that is releases with the window 7 closed during the operating time. Thus, a minimal exhaust air flow is set outside the operating time, even if the window 7 is accidentally left open by the personnel, but this is sufficient because no work is then carried out.
The timer 24 can also issue additional control commands outside of the operating time and the control part 18 can set the command variable of the controller 20 in a program-controlled manner according to these commands, for. B. gradually decrease from the end to the beginning of the next operating time and then increase it again.
A manually operable switch 25 is connected to the control part 18 so that when working under particularly dangerous gases and vapors, regardless of the window position, that is to say with the window 7 closed as far as possible, it is possible to work with maximum exhaust air flow. With the switch 25 open, the control part 18 operates in the manner described above. When the switch 25 is closed, the control part transmits the predetermined maximum value of the command variable to the controller 20.
In order to ensure the balance between the exhaust air extracted from the laboratory space through the extractor 6 and the conditioned air supplied to the laboratory space through a supply air duct 26, the control part 18 controls a throttle member 27 arranged in the supply air duct 26 such that the supply air flow is equal to or around a tolerance is greater than the exhaust air flow. A control part corresponding to the control part 19 can be provided for the regulation of the supply air flow.
If several fume cupboards are arranged in the laboratory, the control parts 18 of the individual fume cupboards can be connected to a central control device (not shown) which controls the throttle element 27 in the supply air duct 26 or a throttle element in a main supply air duct so that the sum of the exhaust air flows is equal to or is a tolerance less than the supply air flow or, in the case of several supply air ducts, the sum of the supply air flows.
If the exhaust air duct 6 itself is equipped with a suction blower, the control and regulating device 10 can of course also directly control and regulate the suction power of this suction blower, the throttle valve 21 being omitted and the adjusting device 23 adjusting the suction power of the suction blower. Correspondingly, instead of the throttle valve 27, the blowing power of a supply air blower can be controlled.
