Abstract
A flower pot has a flat base and a cylindrical wall. A vertical hole is formed in a rib which projects radially inwards from the wall. This hole (2) extends from the upper edge of the wall to a circumferential rib near the inner surface of the pot base. A cover (3) of porous ceramic is supported on the circumferential rib and forms a reservoir for water which is poured in through the hole. The hole also enables the level of the water to be observed. The cover prevents soil from falling into the reservoir but its porosity enables water to percolate upwards to the plant. USE/ADVANTAGE - The rate of water supply to the plant is controlled.b
Description
BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a plant pot, according to Oberbegnff of claim 1.
Like most pots, it is made from a porous clay.
Most previous plant pots are made of plastic or clay, have a hole on the bottom that is covered with a shard. For this you also need a saucer to catch the water. Since the whole thing doesn't look too nice, you put it in a cache.
The new plant pot is already a cache and also includes the functions of the other items. The plant pot can be made according to various shapes by hand turning, pressing or by pouring. The sight tube is manufactured with a handle press and an associated template. Can then be adapted to the plant pot as required, depending on the size, and in leather-hard condition it can be clipped on and pressed onto the inner wall of the pot. The protective hood is turned or pressed and in the leather-like condition a handle is attached and a recess is cut out for the sight tube. Because the pot is glazed on the outside, it can be placed anywhere without creating water stains.
Since the inside of the pot and the protective cover are made of porous clay, the previous water, which is in the reservoir, is continuously fed to the plant.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
1 plant pot in cross section
2 sight tube in cross section
3 protective hood in cross section
Plant pot 1 molded from porous clay. Sight tube 2 fastened to the inside of the plant pot 1. Protective hood 3 with a hinge-on small handle and with a recess for the sight tube 2.
