Abstract

The drain union is for a urinal bowl with drain spigot (3), having a connecting piece (14) and a siphon (10) and leading to a drain pipe. An intermediate piece (5) is mounted between the spigot and the siphon and detachable from the former. There is an opening in the bowl (30) below the union, and via which the latter can be removed and refitted with the bowl (1) installed. The union can be arranged to slide onto the spigot, while the connecting piece can be horizontal and secured by a union nut to the siphon. ADVANTAGE - Easy and rapid cleaning and repair of drain union for urinal bowl.

   BESCHREIBUNG



   Die Erfindung betrifft einen Ablaufanschluss an einer Urinoirschüssel, nach dem Oberbegriff des unabhängigen Anspruchs 1.



   Die bekannten Ablaufanschlüsse dieser Art sind im montierten Zustand allseitig verdeckt. Zum Reinigen oder Auswechseln eines verstopften Siphons muss deshalb die Schüssel von der Gebäudewand abgenommen werden, was einerseits zeitaufwendig und mühsam ist und anderseits oft zu einer Beschädigung der Schüssel oder des Ablaufanschlusses führt. Bei häufig benutzten   Urinoiranlagen    und insbesondere bei solchen mit stark kalkhaltigem Spülwasser sind häufige Reinigungs- oder Reparaturarbeiten an den Ablaufanschlüssen nicht zu vermeiden. Grosse öffentliche   Urinoiranlagen    erfordern deshalb teure Unterhalts- und Reinigungsarbeiten.



   Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Ablaufanschluss an einer Urinoirschüssel zu schaffen, der einfach und schnell gereinigt und repariert werden kann. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Erfindung gemäss Anspruch 1 gelöst.



   Der Ablaufanschluss und somit auch der Siphon ist bei der montierten Urinoirschüssel von aussen zugänglich und kann für Reinigungs- oder Reparaturarbeiten durch die Öffnung in der Schüsselwand herausgenommen werden. Der Ablaufanschluss ist auch im montierten Zustand jederzeit ohne weiteres überprüfbar. Undichtigkeiten können sofort festgestellt und behoben werden.



   Gemäss einer Ausführungsform ist der Ablaufanschluss auf den Ablaufstutzen der Urinoirschüssel aufgesteckt. Dies erlaubt ein sehr einfaches Lösen und Wiederbefestigen des Zwischenstücks.



   Das Verbindungsstück kann gemäss einer weiteren Ausführungsform etwa horizontal verlaufen und mit einer Überwurfmutter auf einen Stutzen des Siphons aufschraubbar sein, womit die Montagefreundlichkeit des Ablaufanschlussesweiter verbessert werden kann.



   Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es zeigen:
Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch einen montierten Ablaufanschluss und einen Teil einer Urinoirschüssel und
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt entlang der   Linie II    in Fig. 1.



   Der weitgehend aus Kunststoff und Gummi bestehende Ablaufanschluss weist ein Zwischenstück 5, einen an sich bekannten Absaugesiphon 10 und ein Zwischenstück 14 auf.



  Das Zwischenstück 5 ist am Siphon 10 angeschweisst und weist einen nach oben gerichteten Stutzen auf, der unter Zwischenlage einer Gummimanschette 4 auf den Ablaufstutzen 3 der Urinoirschüssel aufgesteckt ist. Das Verbindungsstück 14 ist an einem Ende unter Zwischenlage einer Dichtungsscheibe 12 mit einer Überwurfmutter 13 an einem Gewindestutzen 11 des Siphons 10 angeschraubt. Das andere Ende des Verbindungsstücks 14 ist in die Ablauf-Anschlussleitung 15 gesteckt.



   Die Urinoirschüssel   list    aus Keramik und weist ausser der üblichen wandseitigen Öffnung 32 auch eine unterhalb des Ablaufstutzens 3 angeordnete Öffnung 30 auf, durch die der Ablaufanschluss an den Ablaufstutzen 3 und die Ablauf Anschlussleitung 15 angeschlossen werden kann. Der Ablaufanschluss ist durch seitliche Wände 31 der Schüssel 1 verdeckt und somit im montierten Zustand seitlich und von oben nicht sichtbar. Die Öffnung 30 kann selbstverständlich bei Bedarf durch einen Deckel oder eine Klappe verschlossen werden.

 

   Zum Montieren wird die Urinoirschüssel 1 mit den üblichen Befestigungsmitteln an einer Gebäudewand befestigt.



  Anschliessend wird das Verbindungsstück 14 an die Ablauf Anschlussleitung 15 angeschlossen und der Siphon 10 mit dem Zwischenstück 5 auf den Ablaufstutzen 3 gesteckt. Die Überwurfmutter 13 wird nun auf den Gewindestutzen 11 aufgeschraubt, wonach der Ablaufanschluss fertig montiert ist.



  Eventuelle Undichtigkeit im Anschluss können sofort festgestellt und behoben werden.



   Zum Reinigen des Siphons 10 wird die Überwurfmutter 13 gelöst und der Siphon 10 mit dem Zwischenstück 5 vom Ablaufstutzen 3 abgezogen und durch die Öffnung 30 herausgenommen. Der gereinigte Siphon kann wie oben beschrieben wieder eingesetzt werden. 



  
 



   DESCRIPTION



   The invention relates to a drain connection on a urinal bowl, according to the preamble of independent claim 1.



   The known drain connections of this type are covered on all sides in the assembled state. To clean or replace a clogged siphon, the bowl must therefore be removed from the building wall, which is time-consuming and tedious on the one hand and often leads to damage to the bowl or the drain connection. Frequent cleaning or repair work on the drain connections cannot be avoided in frequently used urinoir systems and especially in those with heavily calcareous rinsing water. Large public urinal systems therefore require expensive maintenance and cleaning work.



   The invention has for its object to provide a drain connection on a Urinoirschüssel that can be easily and quickly cleaned and repaired. This object is achieved by the invention according to claim 1.



   The drain connection and thus the siphon is accessible from the outside when the urinal bowl is installed and can be removed through the opening in the bowl wall for cleaning or repair work. The drain connection can also be checked at any time, even when installed. Leaks can be identified and remedied immediately.



   According to one embodiment, the drain connection is plugged onto the drain socket of the urinal bowl. This allows the adapter to be loosened and reattached very easily.



   According to a further embodiment, the connecting piece can run approximately horizontally and can be screwed onto a connecting piece of the siphon with a union nut, with which the ease of installation of the drain connection can be further improved.



   An embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. Show it:

   The drain connection largely consisting of plastic and rubber has an intermediate piece 5, a suction siphon 10 known per se and an intermediate piece 14.



  The intermediate piece 5 is welded to the siphon 10 and has an upwardly directed connection piece which is plugged onto the outlet connection piece 3 of the urinal bowl with the interposition of a rubber sleeve 4. The connector 14 is screwed at one end with the interposition of a sealing washer 12 with a union nut 13 on a threaded connector 11 of the siphon 10. The other end of the connector 14 is inserted into the drain connection line 15.



   The urinal bowl is made of ceramic and, in addition to the usual wall-side opening 32, also has an opening 30 arranged below the drain connector 3, through which the drain connection can be connected to the drain connector 3 and the drain connection line 15. The drain connection is covered by side walls 31 of the bowl 1 and is therefore not visible from the side and from above in the assembled state. The opening 30 can of course be closed by a lid or a flap if necessary.

 

   For assembly, the urinal bowl 1 is attached to the wall of a building using the usual fastening means.



  The connecting piece 14 is then connected to the outlet connecting line 15 and the siphon 10 with the intermediate piece 5 is plugged onto the outlet connection 3. The union nut 13 is now screwed onto the threaded connector 11, after which the drain connection is fully assembled.



  Any leaks afterwards can be identified and rectified immediately.



   To clean the siphon 10, the union nut 13 is loosened and the siphon 10 with the intermediate piece 5 is withdrawn from the outlet connection 3 and removed through the opening 30. The cleaned siphon can be used again as described above.

PATENT CLAIMS 1. Drain connection on a urinal bowl with a drain connection (3), which connection has a connecting piece (14) and a siphon (10), which is connected to the drain connection, and can be connected to a drain connection line with the connecting piece (14), characterized in that that an intermediate piece (5) is arranged between the siphon (10) and the drain connector (3), which is detachably connected to the drain connector (3) and that the bowl (I) has an opening (30) below the drain connector (3), through which the drain connection (5, 10, 14) can be removed from the assembled bowl (1) and reinserted into it.

2. Drain connection according to claim 1, characterized in that it is plugged onto the drain connector (3).

3. Drain connection according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the connecting piece (14) extends approximately horizontally and is screwed onto a connecting piece (11) of the siphon (10) with a union nut (13).

4. Drain connection according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the intermediate piece (5) is welded onto the siphon (10).

5. Drain connection according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the connection point between the drain connector (3) and the intermediate piece (5) is sealed with a rubber sleeve (4).
