Abstract

In this figure, the control mechanism is in its normal position. If the stem is pressed, the shoulder (7a) tensions the spring (9) between the support points (10 and 12). The contact blade (14) comes to bear on the pin (16) and the stem reverts to its normal position once it is released, thus re-opening the contact. If the stem is pulled in order to bring it into the time-setting position, the spring wire (9) is displaced upwards by the ramp (8a) of the tumbler (8) solid with the stem (7) and falls into the groove (8c). During this movement, the retaining blade (13) flexes in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the stem. In this pulled-out position, the blade (14) is in contact with the pin (15). <IMAGE>
