Abstract

In the watch case there lies on the base of the groove (2) the snap-in spring wire (3) and, partly over the latter, an opening spring wire (4). On the push rod side, the opening spring wire (4) is designed with a guide clip, which is directed at right angles to the plane of the groove (2) towards the lid side and is held in the clearance (6) against any displacement in the circumferential direction. The central part (21) is directed obliquely outwards, so that it presses resiliently onto the pressing point (10) of the lid (9). At the same time, the spring clip protrudes through the clearance (7) of the case. The space required for deformation is provided by an arc-like recess (23). As soon as the central part (14) of the snap-in spring wire (3) has released itself from the arresting notch (11) of the lid (9) by pressure on the push rod, the spring clip of the opening spring wire (4) effects a swinging-out of the lid (9) about the bearing pin (8). The opening spring wire (4) can be bent more easily and better on its resilient side with its closed spring clip than open, projecting spring ends, which moreover have to be machined at their abutting point. In addition, the opening spring wire is easier to fit. <IMAGE>
