Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Obst- und Gemüsezerkleinerungsgerät, z. B. zum Raffeln, Schälen, Entfasern, Schneiden oder Schaben von Gemüse und Obst.
Es sind als Handgeräte ausgebildete Obst- und Gemüseraffeln bekannt, bei denen das Schneidgut mit der einen Hand gehalten wird, während mit der anderen Hand das Gerät mittels Hin- und Herbewegungen über das zu schneidende Gut geführt wird. Diese Arbeit ist mühsam und zur Erzielung eines sauberen und einheitlichen Schnittgutes schlecht geeignet.
Im weiteren sind Obst- und Gemüseraffeln bekannt, die zum Abstellen auf eine Unterlage bestimmt sind, wobei das zu schneidende Gut durch Hin- und Herbewegungen mit dem Messer oder mit den Schneidorganen der Raffel des Gerätes in Berührung gebracht wird. Der Nachteil dieser bekannten Geräte liegt darin, dass sie entweder zum Schneiden oder aber zum Raffeln von Obst und Gemüse Verwendung finden können. Mit dem gleichen Gerät können jedoch die in der Küche anfallenden Arbeiten, wie Schneiden, Schälen, Raffeln oder Schaben, nicht durchgeführt werden.
Wohl sind hierzu komplizierte und daher aufwendige Vorrichtungen bzw. Maschinen vorgeschlagen worden, die jedoch in bezug auf Anschaffungskosten, Unterhalt (Reinigung) und Platzbeanspruchung nicht befriedigen können.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt die Schaffung eines Obst- und Gemüsezerkleinerungsgerätes, mit dem die oben genannten Zerkleinerungsarbeiten durchgeführt werden können, das jedoch die genannten Mängel der bekannten Geräte und Vorrichtungen dieser Art nicht aufweist.
Hierzu ist das erfindungsgemässe Obst- und Gemüsezerkleinerungsgerät erfindungsgemäss dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es einen Rahmen zur Aufnahme eines in diesen einschiebbaren und zur Auflage des zu schneidenden Gutes dienenden Tisches oder einer mit Schneidorganen versehen, zum Zerkleinern des Gutes dienenden Platte aufweist und dass ein Verstellorgan im Rahmen angeordnet ist, mit welchem der Tisch oder die Platte derart in bezug auf ein im Rahmen fest angeordnetes Schneidmesser verschwenkbar ist, dass der Tisch in Wirkungsverbindung, die Platte jedoch ausser Wirkungsverbindung mit dem Schneidmesser kommt.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht eine Perspektivansicht eines Obst- und Gemüsezerkleinerungsgeräts gemäss der Erfindung.
Das in der Zeichnung dargestellte Obst- und Gemüsezerkleinerungsgerät weist einen Rahmen 10 auf, der mit zwei ebenen, in der Längsrichtung des Gerätes verlaufenden Auflageteilen 11 versehen ist. Diese beiden Auflageteile 11 sind an einem Ende des Rahmens 10 mit einem Steg 12 zusammen verbunden. Am anderen Ende des Rahmens ist eine die beiden Auflageteile 11 verbindende, fest angeordnete Abstützfläche 13 vorhanden, die gleichzeitig auch als Handgriff 14 ausgebildet ist.
Vor der genannten Abstützfläche 13 ist ein Schneidmesser 15 angeordnet, das an der Oberseite der Längsseiten des Rahmens 10 mittels Schrauben 16 auswechselbar befestigt ist.
Die Schneide des Messers 15 kann in bekannter Weise ausgebildet sein und beispielsweise einen Wellenschliff aufweisen.
Der genannte Steg 12 dient zur Abstützung einer Schieberplatte 17, die zwischen die Längsseiten des Rahmens 10 einschiebbar ist und in der eingeschobenen Lage mit ihrem nach unten abgebogenen Griffteil 18 gegen den Steg 12 anschlägt.
In dieser eingeschobenen Lage liegt der vordere Rand 19 der Schieberplatte 17 in einem Abstand von der Schneidkante des Messers 15 derart, dass ein Spalt für den Durchlass des geschnittenen Gutes freibleibt.
.zwecks Führung und Halterung der Schieberplatte 17 sind an der Oberseite der Auflageteile je ein vorstehender Lappen 20 vorgesehen, derart, dass der Schiebertisch 17 zwischen diesen Lappen 20 und dem Steg 12 in den Rahmen 10 eingeschoben werden muss.
Der vordere Rand 19 des Schiebertisches 17 ist parallel zu der Schnittebene verstellbar. Diese Höhenverstellung wird mit Hilfe einer Einstellschraube 21 vorgenommen, die an einem Steg 22 des Rahmens 10 geführt ist. Mit Hilfe eines an sich bekannten, gerändelten Kopfes 23 kann die axiale Lage der Schraube 21 verstellt werden. Da sich der Schiebertisch 17 in der eingeschobenen Lage mit seiner Unterseite auf der Schraube 21 abstützt, bewirkt eine axiale Verschiebung derselben eine Verschiebung des Tisches in bezug auf die Schnittebene. Damit kann der Höhenabstand zwischen dem Schneidmesser 15 und der Oberseite des Schiebertisches 17 und damit auch die Schnittdicke des Schneidgutes bestimmt werden.
An der Unterseite des Schiebertisches 17 ist eine gebogene Blattfeder 24 befestigt, die als Rückhaltefeder für den Schiebertisch dient. In der Tat ermöglicht diese Feder ein vollständiges Herausziehen des Tisches 17 aus dem Rahmen 10 erst, nachdem die gebogene Feder 24 gegen die Unterseite des Tisches gedrückt worden ist. In dieser Lage kann dann die Feder 24 durch den zwischen der Oberseite des Steges 12 und der Unterseite des Tisches gebildeten Spalt geführt werden.
Die Verwendung des beschriebenen Obst- und Gemüsezerkleinerungsgerätes ist denkbar einfach.
Nachdem der Schiebertisch 17 bis zu seinem Anschlag in den Rahmen 10 eingeschoben worden ist, wird mit Hilfe der Schraube 21, 24 die Schnittdicke des zu zerkleinernden Schnittgutes eingestellt. Die genannte Schraube dient aber gleichzeitig zur Festlegung des Schiebertisches 17 in seiner Gebrauchslage. Das zu zerkleinernde Schnittgut, beispielsweise Früchte, Gurken, Zwiebeln, Tomaten und dergleichen, wird auf dem Schiebertisch 17 hin und her und über die Schneidklinge 15 geschoben, wodurch das Obst oder Gemüse geschnitten wird. Das geschnittene Gut fällt durch den Spalt 25 nach unten auf eine bereitzustellende Auflage. Damit das geschnittene Gut sich vom Schneidmesser 15 sofort befreien kann, muss durch entsprechende Wahl der Rahmendicke ein Zwischenraum unterhalb des Messers gebildet werden.
Das Entfernen des geschnittenen Gutes erfolgt selbstverständlich dann problemlos, wenn die Raffel über einen Behälter zur Aufnahme des Schnittgutes gehalten wird.
Das eigentliche Wesen der Erfindung liegt nun aber auch darin, dass das erfindungsgemässe Gerät sowohl als Schneidals auch als Schabergerät Verwendung finden kann.
Für die Verwendung als Schabgerät ist anstelle des beschriebenen Schiebertisches 17 eine entsprechend ausgebildete Raffel-, Schäl- oder Schabplatte vorgesehen. Diese Platte wird bei dieser speziellen Verwendung anstelle des Schiebertisches 17 in den Rahmen eingeschoben. Durch Verstellen der Einstellschraube nach oben wird die genannte Platte nach oben gestossen, so dass deren Oberseite mit der Oberseite des Schneidmessers mindestens bündig ist oder der letztgenannten Oberseite leicht vorsteht. In dieser Einstellage kann das Messer nicht auf das zu schneidende Obst oder Gemüse wirken. Dieses Schneidgut ist somit lediglich den in der Raffel-, Schäl- oder Schabplatte vorgesehenen Schneiden ausgesetzt.
Die beschriebene Raffel wird, mit Ausnahme des Schneidmessers, vorzugsweise aus einem Kunststoff hergestellt. Auch für die Herstellung der Raffelplatte kann ein entsprechender, an sich bekannter Kunststoff Verwendung finden. Die Raffel könnte aber auch aus einem rostfreien Metall, insbesondere einem Spritzguss, hergestellt werden.
Im weiteren können Mittel zum Befestigen der Raffel auf einer Unterlage vorgesehen sein. Insbesondere kann hier ein Saugfuss in Frage kommen, der mit den ebenen Auflageteilen 12 des Rahmens 10 zusammenwirken könnte. Die Ausbildung des Saugfusses und dessen Zusammenwirken mit dem Gerät soll hier nicht näher umschrieben werden, da dies bereits Gegenstand eines älteren Patentes des Anmelders bildet.

There are designed as hand tools fruit and vegetable slices known in which the material to be cut is held with one hand, while the other hand is used to move the device over the material to be cut by means of back and forth movements. This work is tedious and poorly suited to achieving clean and uniform clippings.
In addition, fruit and vegetable slices are known which are intended to be placed on a base, the material to be cut being brought into contact with the knife or with the cutting elements of the grater of the device by reciprocating movements. The disadvantage of these known devices is that they can be used either for cutting or for grating fruit and vegetables. However, the same device cannot be used to carry out the work that occurs in the kitchen, such as cutting, peeling, grating or scraping.
Complicated and therefore expensive devices or machines have been proposed for this purpose, but these cannot be satisfactory in terms of acquisition costs, maintenance (cleaning) and space requirements.
The present invention aims to provide a fruit and vegetable chopping device with which the above-mentioned chopping work can be carried out, but which does not have the mentioned shortcomings of the known devices and devices of this type.
For this purpose, the fruit and vegetable chopping device according to the invention is characterized according to the invention in that it has a frame for receiving a table which can be pushed into it and is used to support the material to be cut or a plate is provided with cutting elements and is used for cutting up the material and that an adjusting element in the frame is arranged, with which the table or the plate can be pivoted in relation to a cutting knife fixedly arranged in the frame, that the table comes into operative connection, but the plate comes out of operative connection with the cutting knife.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
The drawing illustrates a perspective view of a fruit and vegetable chopper according to the invention.
The fruit and vegetable chopping device shown in the drawing has a frame 10 which is provided with two flat support parts 11 extending in the longitudinal direction of the device. These two support parts 11 are connected together at one end of the frame 10 with a web 12. At the other end of the frame there is a fixed support surface 13 that connects the two support parts 11 and is also designed as a handle 14 at the same time.
In front of said support surface 13, a cutting knife 15 is arranged, which is fastened to the upper side of the longitudinal sides of the frame 10 by means of screws 16 in an exchangeable manner.
The cutting edge of the knife 15 can be designed in a known manner and, for example, have a serrated edge.
Said web 12 serves to support a slide plate 17, which can be pushed between the longitudinal sides of the frame 10 and, in the pushed-in position, strikes against the web 12 with its downwardly bent handle part.
In this pushed-in position, the front edge 19 of the slide plate 17 is at a distance from the cutting edge of the knife 15 in such a way that a gap remains free for the cut material to pass through.
For the purpose of guiding and holding the slide plate 17, a protruding tab 20 is provided on the top of the support parts so that the slide table 17 must be pushed into the frame 10 between these tabs 20 and the web 12.
The front edge 19 of the slide table 17 can be adjusted parallel to the cutting plane. This height adjustment is carried out with the aid of an adjusting screw 21 which is guided on a web 22 of the frame 10. With the aid of a knurled head 23 known per se, the axial position of the screw 21 can be adjusted. Since the slide table 17 is supported with its underside on the screw 21 in the inserted position, an axial displacement of the same causes a displacement of the table with respect to the cutting plane. The height distance between the cutting knife 15 and the top of the slide table 17 and thus also the thickness of the cut of the material to be cut can thus be determined.
A curved leaf spring 24 is attached to the underside of the slide table 17 and serves as a retaining spring for the slide table. Indeed, this spring allows the table 17 to be fully withdrawn from the frame 10 only after the bent spring 24 has been pressed against the underside of the table. In this position, the spring 24 can then be guided through the gap formed between the top of the web 12 and the bottom of the table.
The use of the fruit and vegetable chopping device described is very easy.
After the slide table 17 has been pushed into the frame 10 up to its stop, the cutting thickness of the cut material to be shredded is set with the aid of the screw 21, 24. The screw mentioned serves at the same time to fix the slide table 17 in its position of use. The cut material to be shredded, for example fruits, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes and the like, is pushed back and forth on the slide table 17 and over the cutting blade 15, whereby the fruit or vegetables are cut. The cut material falls through the gap 25 down to a support to be provided. In order for the cut material to be able to free itself immediately from the cutting knife 15, a gap must be formed below the knife by selecting the frame thickness accordingly.
The cut material can of course be removed without any problems if the grater is held over a container for receiving the cut material.
The actual essence of the invention lies in the fact that the device according to the invention can be used both as a cutting device and as a scraper device.
For use as a scraping device, a correspondingly designed scraping, peeling or scraping plate is provided instead of the sliding table 17 described. In this special use, this plate is pushed into the frame instead of the slide table 17. By adjusting the adjusting screw upwards, the said plate is pushed upwards so that its top side is at least flush with the top side of the cutting knife or the latter top side protrudes slightly. In this setting, the knife cannot act on the fruit or vegetables to be cut. This material to be cut is thus only exposed to the cutting edges provided in the grating, peeling or scraping plate.
The scraper described is, with the exception of the cutting knife, preferably made of a plastic. A corresponding plastic known per se can also be used for the production of the grating plate. The raffle could, however, also be made from a rustproof metal, in particular an injection molding.
In addition, means can be provided for fastening the raffle on a base. In particular, a suction cup can come into question here, which could interact with the flat support parts 12 of the frame 10. The design of the suction cup and its interaction with the device will not be described in more detail here, since this is already the subject of an earlier patent by the applicant.
