We know suspension devices for movement
clockwork, comprising one or two elas annular members
tically compressible, partially housed in grooves
facing the casing circle and the middle part, and through which
the movement is somehow elastically suspended too
both radially and axially. Such devices are notam
ment described in Swiss patents Nos. 471412 and 487448. The
implementation of these mechanisms, in particular the implementation of
encaging circle, however requires the use of a special tool
cial for reducing the outside diameter of the annealed organ
laire.
The object of the invention is to produce a device
both manual assembly, without special tools.
The invention more particularly relates to a device for
suspension for clockwork movement in which the movement
ment is placed in a caging circle, the suspension being
produced by means of at least one resiliently annular member
deformable partially housed in a groove of the enca circle
geage and an opposite groove, made in the middle part or in a
part integral with the middle part, characterized by the fact that the middle part
or the part integral with the middle part has at least one part in
funnel-shaped, the narrow part of which ends near
said groove and the widest part of which has a diameter su
less than or equal to the outside diameter of said annular member,
such that the casing ring, provided with said annular member, can be placed by hand in the middle part or in the part integral with the middle part.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the invention.
The figure of the drawing represents a view in axial section of a watch case comprising a caseband-bezel 1, a crystal 2 held in the bezel by a tension ring 3, and a screwed back 4. The movement 5 is carried by a casing circle 6 provided with two grooves of rectangular section and of different diameters 7 and 8 in which are housed two elastically compressible O-rings 9 and 10 which constitute the essential elements of the elastic suspension of the movement. The members 9 and 10 are retained on the other hand in an outer circle 11, in grooves 12 and 13 of this circle. The circle 1 1 is held axially between a shoulder 14 of the caseband 1 and a wavy spring 15 bearing on an annular part 16 resting itself on the base 4. The groove 12 is connected to the groove 13 by a frustoconical part 17 forming a funnel.
The upper edge of the circle 1 1 also has a frustoconical part 18.
Circles 6 and 11 are assembled on the outside of the box, then the assembly is introduced into the box where it is held by the
bottom 4. The gaskets 9 and 10 are first of all mounted under a slight tension in the grooves 7 and 8 of the casing ring 6, then the latter is introduced from above into the ring 11, the diameter of which at the inlet of the ramp 18 is greater than the outside diameter of the seal 10 and approximately equal to the outside diameter of the seal 9. The diameter of the cylindrical part 19 of the circle 11 is also greater than the outside diameter of the seal 10 so that the latter s 'engages freely in the circle 11 to come up against the frustoconical ramp 17.
By exerting axial pressure on the edge of the circle 6, the seal 10 descends along the ramp 17 compressing in the groove 8, passes over the protrusion 20, while continuing to deform, to relax in the groove 13. During this operation, the seal 9 slid, gradually deforming on the ramp 18 to relax after passing the shoulder 19.
The invention can of course be implemented with the seal 10 only. The section of this seal can be of any shape as well as the grooves. The ramp 17 could also be made directly on the middle part 1 and have a constriction either upwards or downwards.
On the other hand, the funnel-shaped part could have a shape other than frustoconical, the only condition to be respected being a progressive narrowing of this part.
