Boxes with carrier tapes are known, the carrier tapes only being connected to the finished, molded box. Although these fastener tapes can be applied by machine, a special operation is required on the finished, filled package. The fastener tapes form loose loops, which is inconvenient. For an efficient production, the condition should be fulfilled that the carrier tape can be applied to the flat box blank in the stretched state during production. In addition, it should be possible to pull out the carrying strap to form a carrying loop afterwards on the finished, shaped box. However, even on the finished, shaped box in the unloaded state, the carrier tape should not form a protruding slack loop.
It is the aim of the present invention to provide a box with a carrying loop which fulfills the conditions set out above. This goal is achieved in that the carrying tape lying flat on the outside of a box wall in the unloaded state is guided around flexible support parts which yield when the carrying tape is loaded and allow the carrying tape to be lifted off the box wall. Thanks to the resilient support parts, which have a certain elasticity, the carrier tape can rest snugly against one of the box walls in the unloaded state, but can be pulled out to form a carrier loop. At the same time there is thus the possibility of applying the carrier tape in the stretched state to the flat box blanks, which allows very simple, fully automatic manufacture.
The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of two exemplary embodiments.
1 shows a folding box with a carrying strap pulled out to form a carrying loop.
Fig. 2 shows part of the blank for producing the box according to Fig. 1,
Fig. 3 shows part of the blank for producing a simple, glued or stapled box and
FIG. 4 shows a section through a corner of the box produced from the blank according to FIG. 3.
The telescopic folding box according to FIG. 1 has a box body 1 and a lid 2. The two end walls, of which one (3) is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, are connected to the side walls 6 via material triangles 4 and 5. These triangles 4 and 5 are folded flat on top of each other in the finished, shaped box and held in their folded position by an overlapping and folded into the box interior and secured there in the usual way by means of the tabs 7 or by gluing. This folding box, known per se, has the advantage that it can be easily formed from the flat blank by the consumer, especially when the tabs 8 can be secured without gluing.
A self-adhesive tape 9 is placed over parts 3 and 4. It is in its middle part, indicated by cross-hatching, on the adhesive side with a sticking-preventing coating, e.g. a clearly visible color. so that only its end parts, which are not shown hatched, are glued to the triangles 4.
In the region of the fold lines 10 between the wall 3 and the triangles 4, cuts 11, tabs or bridges 12 are cut free by means of cuts 11, which run transversely to the fold lines 10 or parallel to the strip 9. At the roots of these tabs 12, grooves 13 are provided, which act as hinges for the tabs 12.
In the area of the fold line between the wall 3 and the tab 8, a securing tab 14 is cut free, which is initially, that is, on the blank according to FIG. 2, at the points 15 still attached to the tab 8.
As already indicated, when erecting the box body 1, the triangles 4 and 5 are folded around folding lines 16 on top of one another and behind the wall 3, and then the flap 8 is folded over the folded triangles and anchored on the side walls 6. The flaps 12 are also folded around the lines 10 and now form on the side edges of the wall 3 U-shaped support parts that are folded up in a U-shape, which normally, when the belt 9 is unloaded, lie in the plane of the wall 3 and keep the belt 9 stretched . so that it lies snugly on the outside of wall 3. If the band 9 is to serve as a support band, all that is necessary is to pull it. Under the effect of the pull, the support tabs 12 yield to the outside, and thanks to the resulting shortening of the course of the tape, the tape can be lifted off the wall 3 to form a suspension loop.
The cover 2 has a slot 17 on each of its edges, into which one of the securing tabs 14 can be inserted. While a support tape 9 is normally only provided on one wall, tabs 14 are provided on both walls in order to be able to secure the cover on both sides. This security is essential to be able to carry the box in an upright position. If the box is used, for example, as a shoe box, the securing tabs 14 can remain unused on the tab 8 until the box with the shoes finally leaves the shop. Only now are the flaps 14 solved u. introduced, while previously for repeated unpacking and packing of the shoes to try on the lid does not need to be unlocked and secured each time.
Similar telescope boxes with different lid constructions and / or lid securing devices can be equipped with the carrier tape accordingly.
Likewise, boxes with other box bodies can be provided with the carrier tape.
3 and 4 show the example of a simple glued or stapled box in which the end walls 3 'are connected to the side walls 6' by means of connecting tabs 18. When erecting the blank according to FIG. 3, the flaps 18 are glued or stapled to the side walls 6 '. The hatched part of the self-adhesive tape has a coating that prevents it from sticking. In the area of the fold lines 19, the wall 3 'is provided with cut-free tabs 12', while the tabs 18 are provided with rectangular cutouts 20. The tape 9 is glued to the tabs 18 outside these punched-out portions 20.
In the erected box, of which FIG. 4 shows a section through a corner at the level of the carrier tape 9, the tabs 12 'lie in the plane of the wall 3' when the tape 9 is unloaded and stretch the tape so that it fits snugly against the Outside of the wall 3 is. If, however, the tape is pulled, the two tabs 12 'are pivoted inwardly under the tension of the tape into the position according to FIG. 4. The shortening of the tape course allows the formation of a carrying loop, as FIG. 4 indicates. The prerequisite for the solution according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is of course that the tape is allowed to enter the interior of the box somewhat. However, this is possible for most goods to be packed in such boxes.
Correspondingly modified solutions are possible for other types of boxes. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, a support tab could also be provided on the tab 18, but this is not related to the support tab 12 '.
