Description
Procédé pour la préparation de cétones non saturées et leur utilisation comme agents odoriférants La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la préparation de cétones de formule EMI1.1 dans laquelle l'un des R représente un reste alcoyle et les autres l'hydrogène et dans laquelle les R' représentent soit l'hydrogène, soit l'un d'entre eux un alcoyle et les autres l'hydrogène. Les cétones de formule I sont des produits nouveaux, doués d'intéressantes propriétés organoleptiques et utilisables avantageusement en parfumerie. L'invention a également trait à l'utilisation des composés I en tant qu'ingrédients odoriférants pour la préparation de parfums et de produits parfumés. Les cétones I sont aussi utilisables comme intermédiaires dans la fabrication, par cyclisation, de cétones cyclooléfiniques de formule EMI1.2 dans laquelle les R et R' ont le sens défini ci-dessus, et laquelle contient une double liaison dans l'une des positions indiquées par les pointillés. Les cétones III peuvent être utilisées très avantageusement dans l'industrie des parfums et des arômes. La cyclisation des composés I en composés III peut être effectuée dans des conditions analogues à celles utilisées pour cycliser la pseudoionone en ionone, le citral en cyclocitral ou l'acide géranique en acide cyclogéranique (voir par exemple Perfumery and Flavouring Synthetics, P.Z. Bedoukian, Elsevier Publ. Company, New York (1967). Le procédé de l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'on procède au réarrangement de composés acétyléniques de formule EMI1.3 dans laquelle les R et R' ont le même sens que ci-dessus par action d'un moyen de réarrangement, pour obtenir les cétones I. I1 est avantageux que la fonction hydroxyle X soit estérifiée, de préférence par un groupe acétyle. Comme moyens de réarrangement, on peut faire usage des moyens connus pour promouvoir le réarrangement de dérivés acétyléniques a-hydroxylés (voir par exemple Helv. Chim. Acta 42 (1959), 1945). Par exemple, on peut utiliser avantageusement comme moyen de réarrangement, l'action combinée de la chaleur, d'acide acétique et d'acétate de cuivre. Les composés acétyléniques de formule II peuvent être facilement obtenus à partir de dérivés de la méthylhepténone suivant une méthode illustrée par le schéma suivant: EMI2.1 <tb> <SEP> R' <SEP> R' <tb> <SEP> R' <SEP> R' <tb> <SEP> RKrT <tb> <SEP> R' <tb> <SEP> R <SEP> R' <tb> <SEP> R' <SEP> R' <tb> <SEP> R' <SEP> R' <tb> <SEP> R' <tb> i <SEP> )alcoyl-NgBr <tb> 2) <SEP> RCH=CR-CHRY <SEP> R' <SEP> <tb> 2) <SEP> RCH=CR-CHRY <SEP> CHR-CR=CRH <tb> <SEP> CuCl2/KOH <tb> <SEP> (Y <SEP> = <SEP> halogène <SEP> ) <SEP> R' <tb> <SEP> R' <SEP> OH <tb> Les dérivés de la méthyl-hepténone eux-mêmes peuvent être préparés par analogie avec divers procédés connus dont quelques exemples sont illustrés par les schémas suivants dans lesquels les R' ont le sens déjà décrit, ME représente une fonction métallique réactive et r désigne une réaction d'addition d'un réactif organométallique sur une cétone [voir par exemple D.J. Cram et G.S. Hammond, Organic Chemistry, McGraw-Hill, New York (199) p. 294]. EMI2.2 EMI3.1 dérivés de la méthyl-hepténone b = réaction de Carroll (voir par exemple J. Chem. Soc. pp. 704, 1266 (1940); p. 507 (1941). L'invention est illustrée de manière plus détaillée par les exemples suivants dans lesquels les températures sont indiquées en degrés centigrades. Exemple I Préparation du 7,1 1-diméthyl-oxo-3,6, 1 0-dodécatriène 400 g de 7,11 -diméthyl-2, 10-dodécadiène-5-yne-7-ol (alcool A), qui peut être préparé suivant la méthode décrite plus loin, ont été chauffés 3 h à 1300 en présence de 700g d'anhydride acétique et de 60g d'acétate de soude. On a éliminé l'excès d'anhydride à 00 sous pression réduite et on a traité le résidu à l'eau comme d'habitude. On a extrait à l'éther de pétrole puis on a lavé l'extrait par une solution de carbonate de soude. Après séchage de l'extrait on a obtenu par distillation 414 g (90%) de l'acétate de l'alcool A dont les caractères étaient les suivants: Eb. 88-900/0,1 Torr; n2D = 1,4732; d240 = 0,9122. Bandes d'absorption IR, 1740, 2240, 965 cm-l. On chauffe 5 h à 900, 248 g dudit acétate avec 500 ml d'acide acétique et 10 g d'acétate de cuivre. On constate alors par l'analyse chromatographique en phase gazeuse que l'acétate de départ est entièrement transformé. Après concentration du mélange sous pression réduite on secoue le résidu avec 300 ml d'eau et épuise le mélange à l'éther de pétrole. Après neutralisation, lavage et séchage de l'extrait comme d'habitude, on obtient par distillation 190 g d'un mélange de 7,11-diméthyl-5-oxo-3,6,10-dodé- catriène et des cétones isomères 7,11-diméthyl-5-oxo3,7,10-dodécatriène et 11 -méthyl-7-méthylène-5-oxo- 3,10-dodécadiène. Le mélange présente les constantes suivantes: Eb. 88-970/0,1 Torr; n2D = 1,4932; d24 = 0,8919. Il a pu être utilisé directement pour préparer la cétone cyclique correspondante III ou séparé en ses composants par chromatographie préparative en phase gazeuse. L'alcool acéthylénique (alcool A) utilisé comme matière de départ ci-dessus peut être obtenu - comme suit: On a ajouté, à 200, 456 g (3 Mole) de déhydrolinalol à une solution fraîche de 220 g (3,9 Mole) de KOH, 30 g de K2CO3 et 20 g de Cu2CI2 dans 1500 ml de méthanol. Puis, sous vigoureuse agitation et en maintenant la température au-dessous de 500, on a ajouté goutte à goutte 352 g (3,9 Mole) de 3-chloro-1-butène. Après encore 3 h d'agitation, on a éliminé le méthanol sous pression réduite et secoué le résidu avec env. 1 litre d'eau. On a procédé à une extraction à l'éther et l'extrait, traité comme de coutume, a fourni par distillation, à côté de 44 g de déhydrolinalol, 530 g d'un mélange 85: 15 de 7,1 l-diméthyl-2,10-dodécadiène-5-yne-7-ol (A) et de 3,6,10-triméthyl-1,9-undécadiène-4-yne-6-ol (B). On a séparé ces deux alcools acétyléniques par distillation sur colonne à bande tournante. Le corps A (400 g) présentait les constantes suivantes: Eb. 84.850/0,1 Torr; n20 = = 1,4824; d240=0,8872. Absorptions IR typiques, 3380, 2235, 960 cm-1. Pour l'alcool B (80 g) on a mesuré: Eh. 800/0,1 Torr: n2S= = 1,4789; d24 = 0,8944. Bandes IR, 3380, 2235, 915, 1640cm-1. Exemple 2 Préparation du 3,6,1 O-triméthyl-4-oxo-2,5,9-undécatriène 50 g de 3,6,1 0-triméthyl- 1 ,9-undécadiène-4-yne-6-ol, qui peut être préparé selon la méthode décrite ci-avant, ont été acétylés par 84 g d'anhydride acétique en présence de 8 g d'acétate de soude dans les mêmes conditions que celles décrites à l'Exemple 1. On a obtenu ainsi 54g (90 /o) d'acétate de 3,6,10-triméthyl-1,9-undécadiène4-yne-6-yle. Absorption IR: 2245, 1745, 1640, 915 cm-l. On réarrange 37 g de l'acétate de 3,6,10-triméthyl 1 ,9-undécadiène-4-yne-6-yle, qui peut être préparé suivant la méthode décrite au paragraphe précédent, par 5 heures de chauffe à 900 en présence de 75 ml d'acide acétique et 1,5 g d'acétate de cuivre. On obtient ainsi 26 g (85 %) de 3,6,10-triméthyl-4-oxo-2,5,9-undécatriène, accompagné d'un peu de 3,6,10-triméthyl-4-oxo-2,6,9undécatriène et de 3,10-diméthyl-6-méthylène-4-oxo-2,9undécadiène. Ce mélange peut être utilisé directement en parfumerie ou pour la cyclisation en l'une des cétones correspondantes III, le 2,6,6-triméthyl-1-(2-méthylcroto noyl).2.cyclohexène. Pour ce mélange, on a mesuré: Eb. 75-770/0,1 Torr; n20 = 1,4889; d240 = 0,8890. Exemple 3 Préparation du 2,6,10-triméthyl-4-oxo-2,5,9-undécatriène On a acétylé 103 g de 2,6,10-triméthyl-2,10-undécadiène-7-yne-6-ol, qui peut être préparé selon la méthode décrite ci-dessous, par 200 g d'anhydride acétique et 20 g d'acétate de soude dans les conditions indiquées à l'Exemple 1. On a ainsi obtenu 112 g (90 OJo) d'acétate dont les constantes physiques sont les suivantes: Eb. 800/0,01 Torr; = = 1,4709; d240 = 0,9173. Spectre IR: 2245, 1740, 1645, 890cm-1. On procède au réarrangement de 248 g de l'acétate de 2,6,1 0-triméthyl-2, 1 0-undécadiène-7-yne-6-yle, qui peut être préparé suivant la méthode décrite au paragraphe précédent, par 400 ml d'acide acétique et 15 g d'acétate de cuivre. On procède comme décrit à l'Exemple 1 et on isole 187 g du mélange contenant le 2,6,6-triméthyl-4oxo-2,5,9-undécatriène et de faibles quantités de deux autres cétones isomères, les 2,6,10-triméthyl-4-oxo-2,6,9- undécatriène et 2,10- diméthyl- 6-méthylène-4-oxo-2,9- undécadiène. Ce mélange peut être utilisé tel quel en parfumerie ou pour une réaction de cyclisation conduisant au 2,6,6-triméthyl-1 -(3-méthylcrotonoyl)-2-cyclohexène. Constantes du produit ci-dessus: Eb. 90-970/0,1 Torr; = = 1,5075; d24 = 0,8915. Le 2,6,1 0-triméthyl-2, 1 0-undécadiène-7-yne-6-ol, utilisé comme produit de départ dans la préparation indiquée ci-dessus, peut être préparé ainsi: Sous atmosphère d'azote, on a ajouté par petites portions 100 g de chlorure de méthallyle à une solution contenant 60 g de KOH, 500 ml de méthanol, 10 g de K2. CO8 et 7g de Cu2CI2. Pendant l'addition, la température a été maintenue à environ 400. On a agité encore 3 heures puis on a concentré sous vide et traité le résidu par 500 ml d'eau et 300 ml d'éther de pétrole. L'extrait a été purifié comme décrit ci-avant et on en a obtenu 35 g de déhydrolinalol et 125 g (90 /e) de 2,610-triméthyl-2 > 10- undécadiène-7-yne-6-ol dont les caractères sont les suivants: Eb. 70-720/0,1 Torr; nzo = 1,4818; d420=0,8941. Bandes d'absorption IR: 3350, 2245, 1650, 890cm-1. REVENDICATION I Procédé pour la préparation de cétones oléfiniques de formule EMI4.1 dans laquelle l'un des R représente un reste alcoyle et les autres l'hydrogène et dans laquelle les R' représentent soit l'hydrogène, soit l'un d'entre eux un alcoyle et les autres l'hydrogène, caractérisé en ce qu'on procède au réarrangement de composés acétyléniques de formule EMI4.2 dans laquelle les R et R' ont le même sens que ci-dessus, par action d'un moyen de réarrangement. SOUS -REVENDICATIONS 1. Procédé suivant la revendication I, caractérisé en ce que la fonction hydroxyle est préalablement estérifiée par un reste acétyle. 2. Procédé suivant la revendication I et la sous-revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'on fait usage comme moyen de réarrangement, de l'action combinée de la chaleur, d'acide acétique et d'acétate de cuivre. REVENDICATION II Utilisation des cétones oléfiniques préparées par le procédé suivant la revendication I, comme agents odoriférants pour la préparation de parfums et de produits parfumés. **ATTENTION** fin du champ DESC peut contenir debut de CLMS **.
Claims (1)

Eb. 800/0,01 Torr; = = 1,4709; d240 = 0,9173.Spectre IR: 2245, 1740, 1645, 890cm-1.On procède au réarrangement de 248 g de l'acétate de 2,6,1 0-triméthyl-2, 1 0-undécadiène-7-yne-6-yle, qui peut être préparé suivant la méthode décrite au paragraphe précédent, par 400 ml d'acide acétique et 15 g d'acétate de cuivre. On procède comme décrit à l'Exemple 1 et on isole 187 g du mélange contenant le 2,6,6-triméthyl-4oxo-2,5,9-undécatriène et de faibles quantités de deux autres cétones isomères, les 2,6,10-triméthyl-4-oxo-2,6,9- undécatriène et 2,10- diméthyl- 6-méthylène-4-oxo-2,9- undécadiène.
