Terminal block made of plastic
The invention relates to a connection strip made of plastic, in which current conductors are permanently embedded and to which current collectors can be directly attached and connected, in particular for light screens or information boards.
In known terminal strips of the type mentioned above, which contain round or flat wires as current conductors, there is a risk that when inserting a contact part for connecting a current collector, eg. B.
an incandescent lamp, the conductor is not hit.
The task of the invention is to remedy this.
A connection strip made of plastic, in which current conductors are permanently embedded and to which current collectors can be directly attached and connected, in particular for light screens or information boards, is characterized according to the invention in that the current conductors consist of two or more metal foils which are separated from one another and are arranged in parallel parallel to one another in strips Connection means are present in order to introduce contact parts for connecting the current collector transversely to the level of the bar up to the metal foils.
According to one embodiment of the invention, plug-in openings for inserting the electrical connection parts formed by a plug, for example, of the current collectors are provided in the connection strip in pairs or in groups, so that simple connection of these current collectors is ensured. The plug-in openings can be formed in a simple manner by metal bushings inserted into the wall.
In certain cases, for example when using the connection strip as a warning panel in traffic, it can be advantageous if the plastic of the strip is transparent and the metal foils have a design that produces a retroreflective effect, e.g. B.
have a prism-shaped embossing.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings. 1 shows a detail of a connection strip, in FIG. 2 a section along the line II-II according to FIG. 1, in FIG. 3 a current collector for connection to the strip according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in View, in FIG. 4 a further embodiment in a perspective representation, in FIG. 5 a section through the bar according to FIG. 4, in FIG.
6 a compared to the embodiment according to FIG.
4 a modified embodiment of a bar in a perspective view, in FIG. 7 an example of the use of the bar according to FIG. 6 in a perspective view and in FIG. 8 a partial view of the rear side of the bar according to FIG. 6.
As FIGS. 1 and 2 show, the connection block is formed by a plastic plate 1 which is essentially U-shaped in cross section with outwardly directed leg ends. In the crossbar 2 of the bar, two adjacent, strip-shaped metal foils 3, 4, for example made of aluminum, are centrally embedded, which in the illustrated embodiment have the same width and run parallel to one another separately. Depending on the intended use of the strip, several conductor foils can also be provided, and these can have different cross-sections.
In the transverse web 2, in the area of each metal foil 3 or 4, one behind the other plug-in openings 5, 6 are provided, in such a way that two adjacent plug-in openings 5, 6 each form a connection group. The plug-in openings 5, 6 are formed by metal sockets 7, which on one side rest with a radially protruding edge on the outside of the plastic plate 1 and are bent back like a barb on their other side so that they hold securely on the plastic plate 1. The socket 7 can be designed in such a way that pointed plug-in parts protruding perpendicularly to the ring plate 9 or the like located in a radial plane are provided, with which the socket 7 can be used to establish contact with the conductor foil 3 or 4 without additional tools the connector can be pressed in.
The ends of these insert parts can then be bent back like a barb as shown in FIG.
The distance between two adjacent plug-in openings 5, 6 of a connection point corresponds to the distance between plug-in pins 10 of a current collector 11 according to FIG. 3. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the plug pins 10 are provided on a socket 12 for an electric incandescent lamp 11. By inserting the plug-in pins 10 into the plug-in openings 5, 6, the incandescent lamp can be arranged at the desired location on the strip and connected at the same time.
In Fig. 4 and 5, the basic shape of the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 corresponding bar in the form of a profiled mounting rail la above the metal foils 3a, 4a receiving transverse web 2a protruding web strips 14 facing each other on their inner sides Grooves 15 are provided. A protective hood 16, which is U-shaped in cross section and which is U-shaped in cross-section and which has webs 17 projecting outward into the grooves 15 at its leg ends, is fastened in the grooves. The sockets 12a which receive the incandescent lamps 11 and are fastened to the transverse web 2a of the plastic profile la can be covered by the protective hood 16.
At at least one end of the mounting rail la, two consecutive sockets 5a are provided which are electrically connected to the respective metal foil 3a or 4a and to which connecting tabs 18 aligned in the longitudinal direction of the mounting rail 1a can be attached. At the protruding ends of the connecting straps 18, only one of which is shown in FIG. 5, a further mounting rail can be connected both mechanically and electrically.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 6 to 8, the metal foils 3b, 4b are arranged in a bar in the form of a flat plastic strip 1b which is fastened in a frame profile 19. The frame profile 19 has two outer, parallel legs 20 and a support leg 21 between them and parallel to them. The outer legs 20 are provided with mutually facing longitudinal grooves 22 into which the plastic strip lb supported on the support leg 21 is snapped. Individual mounts 12b, which can each have a protective cover 16b, can be connected to plastic strips 1b or the conductor foils 3b, 4b.
As FIG. 7 shows, the bar lb, 19 according to FIG.
6 can be used as a road barrier. In this case, tabs 23 according to FIG. 8 are expediently provided on the rear side of the frame profile 19, with which the frame profile 19 can be hooked into corresponding hooks of standing posts 24 or the like.
