Ebenso gute Farbstoffe entsprechen der Formel
EMI2.6
EMI3.2

Process for the production of basic dyes
The invention relates to a process for the production of basic dyes of the formula
EMI1.1
where R is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical, an optionally substituted carboxylic acid amide radical or the cyano group, X is a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted one
Hydrocarbon radical, y an optionally substituted alkylene radical or an optionally substituted arylene radical which is connected to K via an optionally substituted alkylene radical or via the formula -CH2-CO-NH-CH2- or -CH2-NH-co-CH2- is, Z -O-,
-S- or -SO2-, Ae is an anion equivalent to the dye cation and K # is a group of the formula
EMI1.2
and the aromatic ring B can be further substituted in which R1 is an optionally substituted alkyl or cycloalkyl radical or, together with R2 and the N atom for a heterocycle, R2 is an optionally substituted alkyl or cycloalkyl radical or, together with R1 and the N # atom represents a heterocycle, R3 and R4 represent hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl or cycloalkyl radicals which are identical or different from one another and R5, R6 and R each represent an optionally substituted alkyl or cycloalkyl radical,
R1 together with R3 and / or R2 together with R4 and the N atoms adjacent to these substituents and R5 and R6 or R5, R6 and R together with the N # atom can form heterocycles.
The dyes of the formula (I) can be obtained by using a compound of the formula
EMI2.1
wherein A is the acid residue of an ester with a compound of the formula.
EMI2.2
or
EMI2.3
Good dyes, for example, correspond to the formula
EMI2.4
where Y1 denotes an optionally substituted alkylene radical, the aromatic ring B can be further substituted, the group -Z-Y1-K # is in the 3 or 4i position and R, X, Z, Ae and K have the meanings given above:
: Similar good dyes correspond to the formula
EMI2.5
where Y2 denotes an optionally substituted alkylene radical ", the aromatic ring B; substituted by alkyl, alkoxy, cyano, nitro, alkyl- or arylsulfonyl, carbonyl- or trifluoromethyl or by halogen" can and RYZA # and K # die to @@@ have given meanings.
Equally good dyes correspond to the formula
EMI2.6
wherein arylene is a. optionally substituted ary lenresty z. B. ein.Phenylen-, Naphthylen- or Tetra hydronaphtyienrest and X1 an optionally substituted alkylene radical or a radical of the formula -CH2-CO-NH-CH2- or -CH2-NH-CO-CH2 mean, the aromatic ring B can be further substituted and R, X, Z, ke and K # have the meanings given above.
In the dyes of the formula (I), the anion Ao can be exchanged for other anions, e.g.
with the aid of an ion exchanger or by reaction with salts or acids, optionally in several stages, e.g. B. on the hydroxide. The dyes are advantageously free from sulfonic acid groups. Particularly good dyes are obtained, for example, when X is an optionally substituted phenyl radical and R is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical, e.g. B. means the methyl radical.
Similar good dyes can be obtained if y one of the residues
EMI3.1
-C2H4- or -CH2 - CHOH - CH2 - and Z is an oxygen atom. An optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical is, for example, an alkyl, aryl or cycloalkyl radical, e.g. B. a phenyl, naphthyl, tetrahydronaphthyl or cyclohexyl radical.
If these radicals are substituted, they contain, for example, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, the cyano group or an aryl radical: Halogen in each case preferably represents chlorine or bromine.
The aryl or arylene radicals can also be substituted by alkoxy groups. Alkyl or alkoxy radicals generally contain mostly 1 to 6 and preferably 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
A substituted carboxamide residue is, for example, a carboxyphenylamide residue. The alkylene radical can be straight-chain or branched; it advantageously contains 1 to 10 and preferably 1 to 6 carbon atoms; he can z. B. be substituted by a hydroxyl group.
In most cases, Z stands for an oxygen atom. The aromatic ring B or B1 can be substituted by an alkyl, alkoxy, cyano; Nitro-; Alkyl or arylsulfonyl, carbonyl or trifluoromethyl group or be substituted by a halogen atom.
If R3 and R4 do not represent a hydrogen atom, the radicals R1 to R4 denote optionally substituted alkyl radicals, such as optionally substituted methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl radicals, or cycloalkyl radicals, such as cyclohexyl radicals. If these radicals are substituted, they contain in particular a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, the cyano group or a phenyl group.
The radicals R1 and R2 can, together with the adjacent N atom, form a heterocycle, e.g. B. a pyrrolidine, piperazine, morpholine, aziridine or piperidine ring. The radical R1 together with R3 and / or the radical R2 together with R4 and the N atoms adjacent to these substituents can form a saturated or unsaturated, advantageously 5- or 6-membered heterocycle, for example a pyrazolidine, pyridazine or pyrazoline ring, e.g. . B.
Trimethylene pyrazolidine or tetramethylene pyrazolidine ring.
The radicals R5 to R denote optionally substituted alkyl radicals, e.g. B: unsubstituted or substituted methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl radicals, or cycloalkyl radicals, such as cyclohexyl radicals.
If these radicals are substituted, they contain in particular a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, the cyano group or a phenyl group.
The radicals R5 and R6, together with the adjacent N atom, can form a heterocycle, for example a pyrrolidine, piperidine, morpholine, aziridine or piperazine ring.
The radicals R5 to R7 can, together with the neighboring N @ atom, form a heterocycle, e.g. B. a group of the formula
EMI3.2
or stand for a pyridine ring.
Preferred acid radicals A are those of the hydrohalic acids; A preferably stands for C1 or Br. Further acid radicals are, for example, those of sulfuric acid, a sulfonic acid or hydrogen sulfide.
Anion Ae is understood to mean both organic and organic ions, e.g. B.
Halogen, such as chlorine,
Bromine, iodine ion, methyl sulfate, sulfate, disulfate, perchlorate, phosphate, phosphotungsten molybdate, benzosulfonate, naphthalene sulfonate, 4-chlorobenzenesulfonate, oxalate, maleate, acetate, propionate, methanesulfonate, Chloracetate or benzoate ions or complex anions, such as. B. that of zinc chloride double salts.
The reaction of a compound of the formula (IV) with a compound of the formula (V) or (VI) is preferably carried out in an organic solvent and at temperatures from -50 to +2500 C, advantageously from -10 to +1200 C.
The reaction can also be carried out in an aqueous medium, optionally with the addition of an organic solvent, or else entirely without a solvent at the temperatures mentioned.
The new dyes are used for dyeing or printing fibers, den or textiles made therefrom, which consist of acrylonitrile polymers or acrylonitrile copolymers or contain such. They are also used for dyeing plastic masses or for dyeing paper in bulk and leather.
The dyes according to the invention can be colored from a weakly alkaline, neutral or weakly acidic bath, provided they are present as salts of strong inorganic or organic acids which form approximately neutral aqueous solutions. It is advantageous to dye in an acid bath either by adding the necessary acid, for example acetic acid, formic acid, tartaric acid, naphthalenesulfonic acid, alkali bisulfate, sulfuric acid, acidic alkali metal phosphates or phosphoric acid, to the dye bath from the outset, or by adding substances to the dye bath which are added during the dyeing process Generate acid.
Acid-generating substances are, for example, salts of volatile bases with strong non-volatile acids, such as ammonium sulfate, or water-soluble esters of organic acids that are saponified during dyeing, such as the methyl or ethyl esters of aliphatic oxyacids, such as milk and apple - or tartaric acid. If mineral acid solutions of the dyes are used for dyeing, which is the case with betaine-like compounds, the mineral acid can also be dulled during the dyeing process by gradually adding alkali salts of weaker acids, for example with sodium acetate.
The dyeings are carried out in the heat with open boiling of the liquor or in closed vessels under pressure at temperatures of over 1000 C.
Under the usual dyeing conditions outlined, the baths are largely exhausted within normal dyeing times, and dyeings which are very uniform, mostly very pure, very waterfast, lightfast and pH-stable, are obtained.
In the previous patent specification 633 447, the dye of the formula
EMI4.1
described, which is used, among other things, for dyeing polyacrylonitrile. The dyes of the formula (I) have a better absorption capacity on polyacrylonitrile in permutitol water. The ingredients of formula (I) are more stable in permutitol water. In the following examples, the parts are parts by weight and the percentages are percentages by weight. The temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
example 1
1722 parts of 4-amino-2'-chlorophenyl-ethyl ether (prepared by reducing according to known methods of 4-nitro-2'-chlorophenyl-ethyl ether) are dissolved in 150 parts of 6% hydrochloric acid and at 0 with 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite, yellow in water, diazotized. Coupling is carried out by neutralizing the diazole solution and combining it with a finely dispersed ice-cold suspension of 19 parts of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone dissolved in 150 parts of water. The precipitated dye is collected on a filter.
35.7 parts of the chlorine-containing monoazo dye (a) thus obtained are heated to 80 in 400 parts of Totuol. Then 6.6 parts of asymmetric dimethylhydrazine are added to the solution and the reaction temperature is increased to 950 within one hour. After several hours of stirring at 950, the reaction has ended. The solution is cooled to room temperature. The precipitated dye is filtered off.
The new water-soluble dye can be purified by recrystallization; it is suitable for dyeing polyacrylonitrile fibers in very real yellow tones.
Example 2
48.5 parts of the dye of the formula (2) prepared by known methods by coupling diazotized 1- (4 * -amino-2 *, 5 * -dichlorophenoxy) 3-chloropropanol- (2) with 5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid anilide
EMI5.1
are introduced into 250 parts of a 3% strength aqueous N, N-dimethylhydrazine solution at room temperature. Then, after stirring for 1 hour at room temperature, the reaction temperature is increased to 850 over the course of 3 hours. Finally, the whole is heated under reflux to 85-95 for a further 6 hours. The dye formed is then isolated by known methods. The new dye can be used to dye polyacrylonitrile fibers in very real yellow tones.
Staining instructions
20 parts of the dye from Example 1 are mixed with 80 parts of dextrin in a ball mill for 48 hours. 1 part of the preparation obtained in this way is made into a paste with 1 part of 40% acetic acid solution, 400 parts of distilled water are poured over the pulp while shaking and the whole is briefly boiled.
It is diluted with 7000 parts of distilled water, 2 parts of glacial acetic acid are added and, at 600, 100 parts of polyacrylonitrile fabric are added to the bath. The material had previously been pretreated for 10 to 15 minutes at 60 in a bath consisting of 8000 parts of water and 2 parts of glacial acetic acid. The mixture is heated to 1000 within 20 minutes, boiled for an hour and then split.
A strong, yellow dyeing with good lightfastness and good wetfastnesses is obtained.
The following table shows the structure of further dyes, as they can be obtained according to the information in Examples 1 and 2.
