Description
Vogelabwehrmasse Vögel können, besonders in städtischen Gebieten, nicht nur für die Anwohner störend sein, sondern verursachen auch durch das Nisten und Verweilen auf Ge bäudeteilen Verschmutzung, Verunstaltung, ja sogar Schaden. Die Dezimierung von solchen Vogelbeständen durch Abschiessen oder andere Massnahmen stösst bei der Bevölkerung auf Widerstand und ist ausserdem in ihrer Wirkung unbefriedigend. Das Abschirmen von Gebäudeteilen, auf denen sich Vögel niederlassen, durch Erstellen von Gittern und sonstigen Verbauungen ist kostspielig und oft gar nicht möglich (Fenstersimse, Statuen usw.).
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Masse zum Aufbringen an Gebäudeteilen und sonstigen von Vögeln bevorzugten Stellen zum Fernhalten von Vögs) n. Sie ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie klebrig und von weicher Konsistenz ist und diesz Konsistenz bei sommerlichen und winterlichen Temperaturen während mindestens eines Jahres beibehält. Dadurch wird für die Vögel das An-und Abfliegen unangenehm gestaltet, was sie fernhält.
Die erfindungsgemässe Masse kann beispielsweise mittels einer Druckpistole in einem oder mehreren Streifen entlang eines Gebäudevorsprungs aufgetragen werden und so die Vögel fernhalten
Nachstehend wird ein Ausführungsbeispicl für die crfindungsgcmässc Masse angegeben :
Gewichtsteile
Polymethacrylat, hart, ungelöst 100
Lösungsmittel mit polarem Charakter, z. B. Methylisobutylketon 10-20
Unverseifbarer Weichmacher, z. B. Chlor paraffin (Chlorierungsgrad 40-48 %) 8-22
Thixotropierungsmittel, z.
B. hydriertes Rizinusöl 0,5-2
Die Wirkung dieser Masse liegt in der Tatsache, dass sie dank ihrer Klebrigkeit auf der Unterlage haftet, für das Geflügel aber nichthaftend ist, und nicht erhärtet, wenigstens nicht während eines Jahres, und damit ihre Wirksamkeit während längerer Zeit beibehält.
Um die Masse für das Geflügel nichthaftend zu machen, kann sie, je nach ihrer Zusammensetzung, nach dem Auftragen mit einem entsprechenden Pulver be stäubt werden. Die Masse kann aber auch an sich bereits so zusammengesetzt sein, dass sie nach dem Auftragen eine Haut bildet und so für das Geflügel nichthaftend ist.
PATENTANSPRUCH
Masse zum Aufbringen an Gebäudeteilen und sonstigen von Vögeln bevorzugten Stellen zum Fernhalten von Vögeln, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie klebrig und von weicher Konsistenz ist und diese Konsistenz bei sommerlichen und winterlichen Temperaturen während mindestens eines Jahres beibehält.

Bird repellant compound Birds, especially in urban areas, can not only be a nuisance to residents, but also cause pollution, disfigurement and even damage by nesting and lingering on parts of buildings. The decimation of such bird populations by shooting them down or by other measures is met with resistance from the population and is also unsatisfactory in its effect. The shielding of parts of buildings on which birds perch by creating grilles and other structures is costly and often not possible at all (window sills, statues, etc.).
The invention relates to a mass for application to parts of buildings and other places preferred by birds to keep birds away. It is characterized in that it is sticky and of a soft consistency and that this consistency maintains at summer and winter temperatures for at least one year . This makes approaching and departing uncomfortable for the birds, which keeps them away.
The composition according to the invention can be applied in one or more strips along a building protrusion, for example by means of a pressure gun, and thus keep the birds away
Below is an example of how the mass can be found:
Parts by weight
Polymethacrylate, hard, undissolved 100
Solvents with a polar character, e.g. B. Methyl isobutyl ketone 10-20
Unsaponifiable plasticizer, e.g. B. Chlorine paraffin (degree of chlorination 40-48%) 8-22
Thixotropic agents, e.g.
B. Hydrogenated Castor Oil 0.5-2
The effect of this mass lies in the fact that, thanks to its stickiness, it adheres to the base, but is non-adhesive for poultry and does not harden, at least not for a year, and thus maintains its effectiveness for a long time.
In order to make the mass non-adhesive for the poultry, it can, depending on its composition, be dusted with an appropriate powder after application. The mass can, however, already be composed in such a way that it forms a skin after application and is thus non-adhesive for the poultry.

Composition for application to parts of buildings and other places preferred by birds for keeping birds away, characterized in that it is sticky and of a soft consistency and maintains this consistency for at least one year at summer and winter temperatures.
