Hydraulic clutch The invention relates to a hydraulic clutch for the stepless coupling of shafts.
There are known fluid couplings in the most diverse designs, in particular the Föttinger fluid coupling. Such a hydraulic clutch works essentially in such a way that a centrifugal pump wheel is arranged on the driving shaft and a turbine wheel is arranged on the driven shaft, which are surrounded by a common housing. The housing is filled with a liquid and the pump and the turbine wheel work in a closed liquid circuit. The pump conveys the liquid speed while increasing the energy content to the turbine wheel. In the turbine wheel, the energy supplied in the turbine wheel is withdrawn from the liquid and transferred to the output shaft.
The output speed is regulated by changing the amount of liquid present in the circuit. When the power is transferred, there is a slip.
The object of the invention is to create a hydraulic hitch that is simple in structure and with which a high degree of efficiency can be achieved. The inven tion is characterized in that the hydraulic clutch works with a gear pump which is arranged in a special way and hydraulically connected. Here, one of the pump gear of the gear pump is connected to the drive shaft of the clutch device and the other pump gear is mounted in a housing rotatable about the axis of the first gear, in which the suction and pressure channels for the pump gears are arranged and on which the output shaft of the Clutch attacks. The suction and pressure channels open into the liquid bath and the pressure channel can be closed in a controllable manner.
In this way, you get a hydraulic hitch ment that can work with a very high efficiency compared to the previous hydraulic clutches. It is relatively simple to manufacture and does not require adjustment, with the wear and tear also being extremely minimal. The hydraulic clutch works continuously. The output shaft is driven depending on the degree of closure of the pressure channel. When the pressure channel is completely closed, the second gear of the gear pump can move together with the associated housing around the other pump gear on a circular path. As a result, the output shaft is taken along in full.
When the pressure channel is partially open, the pump gear mounted in the rotatable housing rolls like a planet from the other pump gear to a greater or lesser extent, with the output shaft being carried along more or less accordingly. Only a few parts are required for the hydraulic clutch. These are essentially just turned parts. The result is a simple structure and economical manufacture of the coupling.
A sleeve which is connected to the rotary housing and which has the pressure channel and on which a slide regulating the cross section of the pressure channel is displaceable is advantageously rotatably mounted on the drive shaft. For control purposes, a control shaft can be arranged in the closed coupling housing, which control shaft has an arm that engages in an annular groove of the slide. The control shaft can be operated externally by a handwheel.
The invention is tert erläu below based on an embodiment shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the hydraulic cal clutch according to the invention in the scheme, along the line 1-I of FIG.
FIG. 2 is a cross section along the line 11-II of FIG.
FIG. 3 is a further cross section along the line III-III of FIG. 1.
The coupling 1 has a housing 2 which is used to receive the liquid, e.g. Oil, is intended. In the housing 2, a shaft 3 is mounted by means of the bearing 4, which serves as a drive shaft. On the drive shaft 3 sits a pump gear 5, which is firmly verbun with the shaft 3. The pump gear 5 meshes with a Pum penzahnrad 6, the axis 7 of which is mounted in the pump housing 8. The centering for the pump housing 8 is provided by a cover 9 which has a sleeve-like part 10 which is freely rotatably mounted on the drive shaft 3. The screws 11 are used to firmly connect the pump housing 8 to the centering cover 9.
The output shaft 12 is fastened to the pump housing 8 by means of the flange 13 and the fastening screws 14, the output shaft 12 running in the bearings 15. With 16 annular seals are designated. In the housing 8, the suction channel 17 creates a connection from the liquid bath 18 to the pump gear 5. Elsewhere, a pressure channel 19 is arranged in the cover 9 with the sleeve 10, which opens into the liquid bath 18, the liquid level 20 of which is above the mouth opening of the pressure channel 19 is located.
A slide 21, which has an annular groove 22, is mounted longitudinally displaceably on the sleeve 10. Sliding blocks 23, which are carried by arms 24, which are clamped on a shaft 25 which are mounted in bearings 26 of device housing 1, engage in this annular groove. A hand wheel 27 for actuating the slide 21 can be provided on the end of the axle 25 protruding outside the housing. In the sleeve 10 a stop ring 28 is provided to limit the displacement path of the slide 21.
In the circumferential surface of the slide 10 facing the sleeve 10, detent recesses 29 and 30 can be provided which engage with the spring catch 31 in the forward and backward position of the slide 21. The housing 2 is closed by the cover 32. The end wall 33 can be designed to be removable.
With the pressure channel 19 fully open, i.e. if the part 21 serving as a valve slide is moved against the stop 28, it results that when the other pump wheel 6 is driven in the opposite direction of rotation by the drive shaft 3 and the pump wheel 5 attached to it, liquid through the pump action of the gears 5 and 6 the channel 17 is sucked and transported by means of the teeth to the channel 19, from which the liquid is fed back into the liquid bath 18 through the open mouth. The clutch works in idle.
The pump housing 8 is at a standstill and thus also the output shaft 12. When the slide 21 is moved into the position shown in FIG. 1, the outlet opening of the channel 19 is closed, which is achieved by turning the handwheel 27 and the axis 25 with the Arms 24 can take place, when the pressure channel 19 is closed, an overpressure occurs in this channel and on the relevant side of the gear pump. This means that the two gears 5 and 6 can no longer rotate with respect to one another. The overpressure in the channel 19 brings about a standstill of the two gears, whereby the pump housing 8 is taken in the direction of rotation and the clutch is thus switched on.
With the pump housing 8, the output shaft 12 rotates accordingly. When the pressure channel 19 is closed, the drive shaft 3 and the output shaft 12 have the same speeds.
When the outlet opening of the pressure channel 19 is partially released, the liquid located in the channel 19 is partially throttled and can partially flow out into the liquid bath. This automatically sets intermediate levels for the speed of the pump housing 8 and the output shaft 12. In this way, the speed of the output shaft can be continuously regulated from 0 to a maximum. In the intermediate stages, the pump housing 8 rotates at a lower speed than the drive shaft 3, the pump gear 6 at the same time rolling on the pump gear 5 like a planet.
The coupling can be further developed. By arranging a plurality of gears corresponding to the pump gear 6 distributed on the circumference of the pump gear 5, e.g. by using two, three or four gears as pump wheels 6, the capacity of the clutch can be doubled or correspondingly multiplied with the same dimensions.
The clutch can also be designed in a larger number of variants, e.g. as a simple clutch with a braking device or as a double clutch. In the latter case, the drive shaft advantageously engages two successive pump housings in such a way that the pump housings rotate in opposite directions. With a suitable connection of the pressure channels of the gear pumps located in the pump housings, a coupling is obtained with a corresponding reversal of the direction of rotation.
The hydraulic coupling according to the invention can be used for any purpose, e.g. for vehicles such as motor vehicles, in particular for driving the chains of tracked vehicles or the drums of road rollers. Furthermore, the hydraulic hitch can be used in machine tools, presses and the like. Or for earth drills. The double clutch can be used as a reversing gear for ships or the like.
