Boîte à musique La présente invention concerne une boîte à musique conçue dans le but de permettre son montage facile et rapide.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention. Les fig. 1 et 2 en sont deux vues en plan et en élé vation, de face.
Les fig. 3 et 4, respectivement 5 et 6 et 7 et 8 en représentent en plan et en élévation de face, les trois parties principales.
Les fig. 9 et 10 concernent une variante.
La boîte à musique représentée comprend une pla tine de base 1 et deux platines secondaires 2 et 3. La platine 1 (fig. 3 et 4) porte, moulée sur elle, la partie inférieure 4 du barillet, ainsi qu'un socle 5, pour les lames vibrantes qui ne sont pas représentées ; dans cette partie 4 est monté l'arbre rotatif 4a et, fixée à celui-ci, la roue dentée motrice 4b, le ressort moteur, non repré senté, est disposé entre celle-ci et la partie 4. Sur la platine 1, sont juxtaposées les deux platines secondaires 2 et 3.
La platine 2 (fig. 5 et 6) porte un palier 6 venu de fonte et dans lequel tourne le tourillon de droite du tambour à chevilles 7, dont le tourillon de gauche 8 reste provisoirement libre; elle porte aussi une saillie verti cale 9, dans laquelle sont pratiqués deux paliers 10 et 11. 12 est un engrenage venu de fonte avec le tambour et dont le pignon doit être actionné par la roue motrice 4b, alors que la roue doit commander les engrenages du dis positif régulateur.
Quant à la platine secondaire 3 (fig. 7 et 8), elle porte, moulée sur elle, la partie supérieure 13 du barillet et le pont 14 dans lequel est montée l'ailette régulatrice 15 ; cette partie supérieure est formée du couvercle 13a et de la paroi verticale 13b qui présente une ouverture 13c par laquelle passe la roue 4b, les deux parties 4 et 13 sont fixées entre elles par une vis pénétrant dans le trou 25.
Les engrenages du dispositif régulateur sont au nombre de deux ; le premier est formé du pignon 16 et de la roue 17, l'un de ses tourillons tournant dans le palier 20 pratiqué dans la paroi 13b du barillet; le second est formé du pignon 18 et de la roue 19 ; le pignon 16 doit venir en prise avec la roue de l'engrenage 12 et la roue 17 avec le pignon 18 ; la roue 19 est en prise avec la vis sans fin 19a de l'ailette 15 et le tourillon de gauche de cet engrenage tourne dans un palier pratiqué dans la saillie verticale 24 de la platine 3.
Lors du montage, les deux platines secondaires sont d'abord équipées de tous les organes qu'elles doivent porter, après quoi on les dispose, juxtaposées, sur la pla tine 1, dans la position qu'elles doivent occuper normale ment, mais à petite distance l'une de l'autre (fig. 5 à 8) ;
les tourillons encore libres des différents mobiles étant disposés en regard des paliers correspondants, le touril lon 8 du tambour, en regard du palier 9 pratiqué dans le barillet 4-13, les tourillons de droite des engrenages 16-17 et 18-19 en regard des paliers 10 et 11 ; et le pignon de l'engrenage 12 en regard de l'ouverture<B>13e</B> du barillet, puis les différentes pièces étant maintenues dans leur position de travail soit à la main, soit au moyen d'un dispositif de posage amovible, les deux platines sont rap prochées jusqu'à se toucher.
A ce moment-là, les diffé rents engrenages sont engagés à la fois sur les paliers de chacune des deux platines et celles-ci sont maintenues en place par deux doigts 22 de la platine 2 pénétrant dans des creusures correspondantes 23 de la platine 3.
Dans les fig. 9 et 10 qui montrent une variante d'un détail de la platine secondaire 3, l'ailette 15 est montée entre cette platine et un pont 14 fixé au couvercle 13 du barillet, ce qui permet de voir cette ailette lorsqu'on regarde la pièce de face.

The music box shown includes a base plate 1 and two secondary plates 2 and 3. Plate 1 (fig. 3 and 4) carries, molded on it, the lower part 4 of the barrel, as well as a base 5, for vibrating blades which are not shown; in this part 4 is mounted the rotary shaft 4a and, fixed to it, the driving toothed wheel 4b, the driving spring, not shown, is arranged between the latter and the part 4. On the plate 1, are the two secondary boards 2 and 3 juxtaposed.
The plate 2 (fig. 5 and 6) carries a bearing 6 made of cast iron and in which the right journal of the pin drum 7 turns, of which the left journal 8 remains temporarily free; it also carries a vertical projection 9, in which two bearings 10 and 11 are formed. 12 is a gear cast iron with the drum and whose pinion must be actuated by the driving wheel 4b, while the wheel must control the gears of the positive regulator.
As for the secondary plate 3 (fig. 7 and 8), it carries, molded on it, the upper part 13 of the barrel and the bridge 14 in which the regulating fin 15 is mounted; this upper part is formed of the cover 13a and the vertical wall 13b which has an opening 13c through which the wheel 4b passes, the two parts 4 and 13 are fixed together by a screw entering the hole 25.
The gears of the regulating device are two in number; the first is formed by pinion 16 and wheel 17, one of its journals rotating in the bearing 20 formed in the wall 13b of the barrel; the second is formed by pinion 18 and wheel 19; pinion 16 must engage with wheel of gear 12 and wheel 17 with pinion 18; the wheel 19 is engaged with the worm 19a of the fin 15 and the left journal of this gear turns in a bearing formed in the vertical projection 24 of the plate 3.
During assembly, the two secondary plates are first of all equipped with all the components which they must carry, after which they are placed, juxtaposed, on plate 1, in the position which they should normally occupy, but at small distance from each other (fig. 5 to 8);
the still free journals of the various mobile units being arranged opposite the corresponding bearings, the barrel journal 8 of the drum, opposite the bearing 9 made in the barrel 4-13, the right journals of the gears 16-17 and 18-19 opposite steps 10 and 11; and the pinion of the gear 12 facing the opening <B> 13th </B> of the barrel, then the various parts being held in their working position either by hand or by means of a setting device removable, the two plates are moved closer until they touch.
At this time, the various gears are engaged both on the bearings of each of the two plates and these are held in place by two fingers 22 of the plate 2 penetrating into corresponding recesses 23 of the plate 3.
In fig. 9 and 10 which show a variant of a detail of the secondary plate 3, the fin 15 is mounted between this plate and a bridge 14 fixed to the cover 13 of the barrel, which makes it possible to see this fin when looking at the part front.
