Formamid, Methylformamid, Äthylformamid, Dimethyl- formamid, Diaethylformamid, Acetamid, Uräthane, Ät- hanolamin, Diaethanolamin, Triaethanolamin, Diaethyl- aminoaethanol, Thioharnstoff und seine Derivate, Gua- nidin und seine Derivate, Monoisopropylamin,
Dibutyl- amin, Morpholin, Morpholinaethanol, usw., ein- und mehrwertige Alkohole, Ketone, Aldehyde, Aether, Ace tate, Ester, Glycole, Polyglycole, Glycoläther, Glycol- ester, Alkylenhalogenide, wie z. B.
Methanol, Aethanol, Propanol, Isopropanol, Aceton, Methylenchlorid, Aceto- nylaceton, Formaldehyd, Acetaldehyd, 1,4-Diaethylen- dioxyd, Methylacetat, Aethylacetat, Monobutylaether, Methylacetat, Octylacetat, Diaethylenglycol, Diaethyl- glycol,
Aethylenglycoldiaethyläther, Aethylenglycol, He- xylenglykol, Dimethoxytetraglycol, Glycerin, Diaethyl- englycolmonobutylaether, Aethylenglycolmonobenzyl- äther, Aethylenglycolmono- oder -diaethylaether, Ae- thylenglycolacetat, Aethylenglycolmonoaethylaetherace- tat,
Aethylenglycolmonomethylaether, Aethylenglycol- monoaethylaetheracetat, Dipropylenglycol, Tetraaethy- lenglycol, Triaethylenglycol, usw.
B. flüssige Erdölfraktio nen, in Betracht.

Process for dyeing plastic films The invention relates to a process for dyeing plastic films by impregnation with a dye preparation which contains a dye, water and a water-soluble salt of a higher molecular weight fatty acid, characterized in that it is carried out under pressure or vacuum.
Plastic films and non-textile molded bodies are understood as meaning, above all, films and plates. These can contain fillers or be reinforced by fibers, for example by fibers made of natural or regenerated cellulose, cellulose acetates, polyesters, natural or synthetic polyamides or acrylonitrile polymers. The process of dyeing the material known under the name Corfam (polyester fiber reinforced urethane material, i.e.
a polyurethane film reinforced by polyester fibers), z. B. synthetic leather coated with foamed polyurethane products.
The aqueous dye preparations have the advantage that they are without. Addition or practically without addition of thickeners and / or film-forming binders can be used.
Virtually all known water-soluble leather dyes can be used, especially mono-, dis- or trisazo dyes, metal complex dyes and reactive dyes. It turns out that metal complex dyes in particular can be colored very well on the plastic films and do not bleed out in water. Suitable dyes are e.g.
B. those from the French's patents No. 1073 728; 1079 152; 1 103 828; 1 138 773; 1318 843 or from the French additional patent specification 64 596.
Higher molecular weight fatty acids for the purposes of the invention are saturated and preferably unsaturated, higher molecular weight aliphatic carboxylic acids which contain about 7 to 28 and in particular 12 to 18 carbon atoms. Salts of oleic acid and ammonia or those organic amines which are volatile at room temperature or at a moderately elevated temperature are particularly advantageously used.
But also corresponding salts of blown and unblown fatty acids, such as. B. Castor oil fatty acids are suitable. As is known, blown fatty acids are natural, unsaturated fatty acids treated with atmospheric oxygen at elevated temperature, such as high molecular weight aliphatic carboxylic acids with at least one olefinic double bond.
These salts are used in amounts between approximately 0.5 and 300 g and in particular between 20 and 150 g per 1 liter of preparation.
It is advantageous to use a dye preparation which additionally contains a water-miscible organic solvent boiling between 50 and 200 ° C.
Water-miscible organic solvents that are suitable for the process are, for example, nonionic, nitrogen-containing, organic solvents and mixtures thereof, preferably amines or amides, such as. B. acid amides, amino alcohols, alkylamines, etc. also urea and its derivatives or heterocyclic nitrogen-containing compounds, eg. B.
Formamide, methylformamide, ethylformamide, dimethylformamide, diaethylformamide, acetamide, urethane, ethanolamine, diaethanolamine, triaethanolamine, diaethylaminoethanol, thiourea and its derivatives, guanidine and its derivatives, monoisopropylamine,
Dibutyl amine, morpholine, morpholine ethanol, etc., monohydric and polyhydric alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, ethers, Ace tate, esters, glycols, polyglycols, glycol ethers, glycol esters, alkylene halides, such. B.
Methanol, ethanol, propanol, isopropanol, acetone, methylene chloride, acetonylacetone, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, 1,4-diaethylene dioxide, methyl acetate, ethylacetate, monobutyl ether, methyl acetate, octylacetate, diaethylene glycol, diaethyl glycol,
Ethylene glycol diethyl ether, ethylene glycol, hexylene glycol, dimethoxytetraglycol, glycerin, di-ethyl glycol monobutyl ether, ethylene glycol monobenzyl ether, ethylene glycol mono- or di-ethyl ether, ethylene glycol acetate acetate, ethylene glycol ether monobenzyl ether
Ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate, dipropylene glycol, tetraethylene glycol, triaethylene glycol, etc.
The dihydric alcohols are particularly preferred. Of these solvents, about 5 to 980 g and especially 30 to 150 g, but preferably 50 to 100 g, are used per liter of dye preparation.
The dye preparations used may contain additional auxiliaries, for. B. other organic solvents, conventional anionic or non-ionic wetting or dispersing agents, fats, natural or syn thetic tannins or synthetic resin dispersions and organic or inorganic pigments. Other organic solvents are mainly liquid, saturated hydrocarbons, e.g. B. liquid Erdölraktio NEN, into consideration.
They are used in amounts of up to about 50 g per liter of dye preparation and especially from 1 to 20 g. Sulphonated castor oil or polyoxyethylated phenols, higher molecular weight amines or alcohols, eg, alcohols, serve with particular advantage as additional wetting or dispersing agents. B. lauryl triglycol ether sulfate or O- leyleikosaglycoläther. From this you can z.
B. use 0.05 to 50 g and preferably 1 to 20 g per liter of preparation.
The pH of these liquors is generally 7 to 10 and preferably 7.5 to 9.5. Their temperature can be 0 to 100 C, and especially 10 to 50 C, but preferably 20-30 C.
The dyeing takes place under pressure or vacuum, the pressure being exerted on the plastic film to be colored by two or more rotatable rollers. This squeezing or squeezing pressure is generally from 0.1 kg to 50 kg per one running centimeter for a roller radius of 0.5 to 100 cm, but preferably per running centimeter from 2 to 5 kg for a roller radius of 2 to 60 cm, the Number of revolutions of a roller is 1 to 100 revolutions per minute.
The impregnation or dyeing process can be improved by repeated squeezing.
The roller system, preferably consisting of a smooth surface, is made, for example, of stainless cast iron or chrome-plated V "A steel or of brass or heavy metal alloys.
The impregnated or dyed leather is stored in a known manner at room temperature or at an elevated temperature and finished as usual.
The parts mentioned in the examples are parts by weight and the percentages are percentages by weight. The temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Example 1 3 parts of the dye are released: the Swiss patent specification 342 307, example 4 in 849 parts of water of 70, cools to about 20, 150 parts of oleic acid and 15 parts of a 25 o / oigen aqueous ammonia solution.
A plastic film, known under the protected brand name Corfam (a polyurethane film reinforced by polyester fibers, known in the literature as polyester fiter reinforced urethane material) is placed between 2 rollers, with a radius of 20 mm, which are located below the level of the dye solution Pressure per centimeter of 3 kg and three passages per minute, moved back and forth for 15 minutes.
After this time, the plastic film is rinsed in running water for 40 minutes for 2 minutes and squeezed off for 1 minute by moving back and forth between two rollers at the same pressure as for dyeing.
The plastic film is then placed on a filter paper and squeezed off again by stretching to remove any rinsing water that may be present and then dried.
The dye penetrated the film deeply and evenly; it is completely colored. The coloring obtained in this way is rich in color, no matter, scratch and scuff resistant, light and rubbing fast, formaldehyde, acid and heat resistant.
The repeated repetition of the squeezing effect, d. H. moving the film back and forth between the two rollers enables the surface and the cross-section of the plastic film to be colored very evenly.
Instead of oleic acid, ricinoleic acid, commercially available under the name of castor oil fatty acid, can also be used with equally good success.
The same good results are obtained if 10 parts of petroleum, an odorless petroleum fraction or just as many parts of lauryl triglycol ether sulfate or oleyl eicosaglycol ether are added to the dye preparation.
The dye of Example 1 can be replaced with equally good success by one of the dyes known in the following patent fonts; however, mixtures of such dyes can also be used.
