Utilisation d'un tuyau flexible La présente invention a pour objet l'utilisation d'un tuyau flexible, en matière plastique, comme magasin destiné à contenir des petites pièces orientées, en vue de leur stockage, leur transport ou leur acheminement sur une machine.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution et une variante d'un tuyau flexible en ma tière plastique, utilisée comme magasin pour contenir des petites pièces orientées.
La fig. 1 est une vue en élévation de ce tuyau, avec coupes partielles.
La fig. 2 est une coupe d'un détail à échelle agran die; et la fig. 3 est une vue en élévation d'une variante, avec coupes partielles.
Le tuyau représenté aux fig. 1 et 2, en matière plas tique souple, telle que du Nylon ou du Téflon (marques déposées) par exemple, est désigné par 1. Il est muni, à chacune de ses extrémités, d'un embout désigné, d'une façon générale, par 2. Chaque embout 2 comprend un corps principal 3, percé d'un canal longitudinal 4, se terminant par une partie conique 3a destinée à s'enga ger dans l'extrémité du tuyau 1, laquelle est maintenue en place par un manchon de serrage 5 pressé lui-même axialement par une douille 6 vissée sur le corps 3.
Ce dernier porte, à son extrémité, une virole 7 qui main tient en place une membrane 8, élastique, percée d'un trou central d'un diamètre légèrement plus petit que celui du canal 4.
Le tuyau 1 étant utilisé comme magasin pour des pièces de petites dimensions, dans l'exemple représenté des pierres 9 de paliers d'horlogerie ou de tous appa- reils de petite mécanique, les membranes 8 de chacun des embouts servent d'organe d'arrêt empêchant ces pièces de s'échapper du magasin. Grâce à leur élasticité, les pièces peuvent être extraites du magasin par une simple pression exercée à une extrémité, soit à l'aide d'une tige ou d'un fil souple engagé dans le trou cen tral de la membrane d'un des embouts, expulsant les pièces une à une par la membrane de l'autre embout, soit par de l'air comprimé appliqué à une des extrémi tés du tube, dans le cas où les pièces sont pleines et peuvent ainsi jouer le rôle de pistons dans le tube.
Les pièces sont placées dans le tuyau à l'état orien té, c'est-à-dire dans une position déterminée, à l'aide d'une machine à charger, non représentée, étant étran gère à l'invention.
Le tuyau rempli de pièces orientées constitue un magasin permettant le transport et le stockage des piè ces qu'il contient. Ce magasin peut en outre être utilisé comme chargeur d'une machine destinée à travailler, contrôler ou utiliser lesdites pièces. On peut, à cet effet, prévoir que les embouts 2 soient aptes à s'ajuster d'une part à la machine servant à remplir le tuyau de pièces orientées, d'autre part à la machine dont le tuyau sert de chargeur.
L'utilisation d'un tuyau souple comme magasin a l'avantage d'être d'un emploi très commode et d'une manipulation facile. La longueur du tuyau peut aisé ment être adaptée au nombre des pièces qu'il doit conte nir.
Dans la variante de la fig. 3, le tuyau souple 1 est démuni d'embouts. Dans cette variante, les pièces 9 que ce tuyau contient sont empêchées de sortir intempesti- veinent par des bouchons<B>10</B> engagés dans le tuyau, et . s'y maintenant par une légère friction. Il suffit donc d'exercer une poussée sur l'un des bouchons par une- des extrémités du tuyau, à l'aide d'une tige, d'un fil souple ou d'air comprimé, pour déplacer dans le tuyau les deux bouchons et l'ensemble des pièces, jusqu'à ce: que l'un des bouchons sorte par l'autre extrémité et soit sui vi des pièces elles-mêmes.

The pipe shown in fig. 1 and 2, made of flexible plastic material, such as Nylon or Teflon (registered trademarks) for example, is designated by 1. It is provided, at each of its ends, with a designated tip, in general , by 2. Each end piece 2 comprises a main body 3, pierced with a longitudinal channel 4, terminating in a conical part 3a intended to engage in the end of the pipe 1, which is held in place by a sleeve clamp 5 itself pressed axially by a sleeve 6 screwed onto the body 3.
The latter carries, at its end, a ferrule 7 which hand holds in place an elastic membrane 8, pierced with a central hole of a diameter slightly smaller than that of channel 4.
The pipe 1 being used as a store for parts of small dimensions, in the example shown stones 9 of watchmaking bearings or of all small mechanical devices, the membranes 8 of each of the end pieces serve as a device. stop preventing these parts from escaping from the magazine. Thanks to their elasticity, the parts can be extracted from the magazine by a simple pressure exerted at one end, either by means of a rod or a flexible wire engaged in the central hole of the membrane of one of the end caps , expelling the pieces one by one through the membrane of the other end piece, or by compressed air applied to one end of the tube, in the case where the pieces are full and can thus play the role of pistons in the tube.
The parts are placed in the pipe in the oriented state, that is to say in a determined position, using a loading machine, not shown, being outside the scope of the invention.
The pipe filled with oriented parts constitutes a store allowing the transport and storage of the parts which it contains. This store can also be used as a loader for a machine intended to work, control or use said parts. For this purpose, provision can be made for the end pieces 2 to be able to fit on the one hand to the machine serving to fill the pipe with oriented parts, on the other hand to the machine whose pipe serves as a loader.
The use of a flexible hose as a store has the advantage of being very convenient to use and easy to handle. The length of the pipe can easily be adapted to the number of parts it has to contain.
In the variant of FIG. 3, the flexible pipe 1 has no end fittings. In this variant, the parts 9 that this pipe contains are prevented from coming out untimely by plugs <B> 10 </B> engaged in the pipe, and. holding it there by a slight friction. It is therefore sufficient to exert a thrust on one of the plugs by one of the ends of the pipe, using a rod, a flexible wire or compressed air, to move the two plugs in the pipe. and all the parts, until: one of the plugs comes out from the other end and is followed by the parts themselves.
