Incinerator for various material, e.g. B. Garbage The invention relates to an incinerator for various types of material, e.g. B. garbage, with a ge inclined furnace shaft, which the combustion material is fed through an upper door and in which it slips on a grate angeord designated in the lower part of the shaft.
When burning garbage and garbage in such incinerators, primarily the material above the grate and the top layer of the remaining material are burned. As a result, a layer located next to the bottom of the inclined shaft easily forms that is not dried and preheated before the garbage slides down over the grate. These relationships are complicated by the fact that the material, for example when it consists of garbage, is composed of a number of substances with very different angles of repose. If a substance with a large angle of repose is closest to the bottom of the furnace shaft, it will easily adhere, which results in even less complete combustion.
The present invention aims to effectively eliminate the drawbacks mentioned. and is characterized by a device projecting into the combustion material and shifting it, which is passed through the bottom of the inclined shaft above the grate and forms an angle to the longitudinal direction of the same, the device pushing the lower layer of the material forward and making it less compact and at the same time makes combustion air more accessible.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. 1 shows a vertical section through a waste incineration furnace provided with a device according to the invention, and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line 2-2 in FIG.
The furnace has an inclined shaft 1 which is lined with refractory bricks. The shaft is limited at the bottom by a vertical front wall and is in communication at the top with a vertical chimney stone channel 9. At the top of the shaft there is a door 3 for the combustion material 11, which is available, for example, from garbage and other waste. In the lower part of the shaft bottom 4 a fixed grate 5 is arranged, which has the same inclination as the shaft. Under the grate there is a drainage channel 10 for the ash which is inclined towards the shaft.
The shaft bottom 4 has at a point above the grate 5 an opening for a number of parallel, fork-shaped rods 6 which protrude into the United combustion material and form an angle to the longitudinal direction of the shaft. The rods are displaceable to and fro with the aid of a hydraulic motor 8 arranged outside the furnace.
As a result of the reciprocating movements of the rods, the fuel is advanced, and at the same time garbage located at the bottom of the furnace is brought through the fuel layer to the top of the same, where it is dried by the combustion gases. In the following, also caused by the rods downward movements in the combustion zone of the furnace, the garbage is completely burned ver. Thanks to the fact that the rods are spaced apart, cavities are formed in the fuel so that it becomes more porous and the combustion air is more easily accessible.
Various modifications are conceivable within the scope of the invention, which can be used with both fixed and movable grates Ver.
