Gril-barbecue La présente invention concerne un gril-barbecue pour cuire des aliments, notamment de la viande, soit en la faisant tourner sur une broche devant un bra sier, soit en. la posant à plat sur ce brasier.
Ce gril-barbecue est caractérisé par un foyer rec tangulaire capable de pivoter de la position verticale à la position horizontale selon son grand axe entre deux flasques verticaux soutenus chacun par deux pieds, le mouvement de rotation du foyer étant retenu à friction et limité par une came agissant sur une butée à chaque fin de course, par une broche prenant appui dans une échancrure pratiquée dans chacun des flasques, par une saucière montée à pivotement sur la base du foyer et par un couvercle monté à pivotement sur le dessus du foyer.
Le dessin annexé représente schématiquement et à titre d'exemple une forme d'exécution de l'invention. La fig. 1 est une vue d'ensemble de face en éléva tion, le foyer étant en position verticale.
La fig. 2 est une vue de profil en élévation, le foyer étant en position verticale, un flasque et la broche étant enlevés.
La fig. 3 est une vue de profil en élévation, le foyer étant en position horizonale, un flasque étant enlevé et la broche vue en coupe transversale.
La fig. 4 est un détail à une autre échelle de la bride d'accouplement.

Le gril représenté fig. 1 à fig. 3 comporte un foyer 1, rectangulaire, destiné à recevoir du combustible et dont une des grandes faces est constituée par un treil lis 2. Sur chacune des faces latérales 3 du foyer 1 est rivé un pivot 4 qui traverse successivement la bride 5 solidaire du foyer 1, le flasque 6, la rondelle 7 et le ressort 8 qui prend appui contre la tête du pivot 4 assu rant une certaine friction au mouvement de rotation du foyer 1 sur le flasque 6 serré entre la bride 5 et la ron delle 7.
Pour la cuisson à la broche on utilise le foyer en position verticale (fig. 1 et fig. 2).
Pour les grillades, on rabat le foyer 1 en position horizontale (fig. 3).
La broche 9 prend appui dans les échancrures 10 des flasques 6, la forme de ces échancrures permettant de placer la broche à plus ou moins grande distance du foyer 1. Elle supporte en outre 2 fourchettes 11 munies des vis de serrage 12 permettant de les placer à distance voulue sur la broche 9 et de les y fixer. On fait tourner la broche 9 par la manivelle 13 ou par un moteur, non figuré, qui s'accroche dans l'ouverture 14 découpée dans un des flasques 6. La saucière 15 placée sous la broche 9 quand le foyer est vertical peut en outre servir de paravent quand on rabat le foyer 1 à l'horizontale (fig. 3).
La saucière 15 est reliée au foyer 1 par l'intermé diaire des bras 16 qui peuvent pivoter sur un élément avancé des, brides 5 ce qui permet de la rabattre sur le foyer 1 après emploi. Le couvercle 17 monté par articu lation sur le foyer 1 est représenté ouvert sur les fig. 1 et fig. 2 et fermé sur la fig. 3.
Des repoussages 18 fai sant saillie à l'intérieur du couvercle 17 et correspondant à d'autres repoussages 19, en creux, sur les parois laté rales 3 du foyer 1 permettent de maintenir le couvercle 17 en position fermée. Les jambages 20 munis de pieds 21 en matière molle supportent le foyer 1 par l'intermé diaire des flasques 6 auxquels ils se solidarisent par emboîtement. Sur la fig. 4, la bride 5 vue de face en élévation présente un élément avancé sur lequel s'arti cule un des bras 16 de la saucière 15.
La butée 22 retient la saucière 15 en position ouverte, les extrémités 23 et 24 de la came 25 découpée dans la bride 5 limi- tent la rotation du foyer en venant s'appuyer sur la bride 26 rivée sur le flasque 6. La fig. 5 présente le détail du dispositif de pivotement à friction du foyer 1 sur les flasques 6. 4 est un pivot à tête, rivé sur l'une des parois latérales 3 du foyer 1. 3 est une partie de l'une des parois latérales du foyer 1 vue en coupe. 5 est la bride vue en coupe partielle montrant plus en détail la butée 22. 6 est une partie du flasque vue en coupe.
7 est la rondelle, vue en coupe. 8 est un ressort annu- laire vu de profil. La fig. 6 présente le détail d'un des flasques 6 vu de face en élévation sur lequel 27 est une échancrure dans laquelle on peut introduire latéralement le pivot 4 et, 26 la butée contre laquelle appuient res pectivement les extrémités 23 et 24 de la came 25 sui vant que le foyer 1 est vertical ou horizontal.
28 est une autre échancrure où l'on peut placer la broche 9 quand le foyer 1 est en position horizontale pour empê cher la saucière 15 de se rabattre sur le foyer. L'échan crure 10 sert de palier à l'une des extrémités de la broche 9 et l'ouverture 14 permet d'accrocher un moteur pour faire tourner la broche.
La fig. 7 est une vue de profil du flasque 6 montrant que cette pièce est égale ment cintrée à la base et comporte au moins deux suites de défoncements semi-cylindriques 29, alternés de part et d'autre des flasques 6, constituant des alvéoles 30 dans lesquels s'emboitent les jambages 20.
La fig. 8 présente un détail d'un alvéole 30, vu en coupe trans versale montrant que sur une des faces du flasque les défoncements sont continus alors que sur l'autre face ils présentent une solution de continuité. Le gril décrit est susceptible de se démonter après emploi en retirant les pivots 4 des échancrures 27 et les jambages 20 des alvéoles 30.
Les flasques 6, la broche 9, les fourchettes 11, la manivelle 13, les jam bages 20 et éventuellement le moteur, non figuré, trou vent place à l'intérieur du foyer 1 que l'on peut fermer en rabattant la saucière 15 et le couvercle 17 sur le foyer 1.
The present invention relates to a barbecue grill for cooking food, in particular meat, either by rotating it on a spit in front of a bra sier, or by. laying it flat on this brazier.
This barbecue grill is characterized by a rec tangular hearth capable of pivoting from the vertical position to the horizontal position along its major axis between two vertical flanges each supported by two feet, the rotational movement of the hearth being held in friction and limited by a cam acting on a stopper at each end of travel, by a pin resting in a notch made in each of the flanges, by a gravy boat mounted to pivot on the base of the hearth and by a cover mounted to pivot on the top of the hearth.
The accompanying drawing represents schematically and by way of example an embodiment of the invention. Fig. 1 is an overall front elevation view, the fireplace being in a vertical position.
Fig. 2 is a side elevational view, the hearth being in a vertical position, a flange and the spindle being removed.
Fig. 3 is a side elevational view, the hearth being in a horizontal position, a flange being removed and the spindle seen in cross section.

The grill shown in fig. 1 to fig. 3 comprises a hearth 1, rectangular, intended to receive fuel and one of the large faces of which is formed by a trellis 2. On each of the side faces 3 of the hearth 1 is riveted a pivot 4 which successively passes through the flange 5 integral with the hearth 1, the flange 6, the washer 7 and the spring 8 which bears against the head of the pivot 4 ensuring a certain friction to the rotational movement of the fireplace 1 on the flange 6 clamped between the flange 5 and the washer 7.
For cooking on a spit, the hotplate is used in a vertical position (fig. 1 and fig. 2).
For grilling, fold the hotplate 1 to the horizontal position (fig. 3).
The spindle 9 is supported in the notches 10 of the flanges 6, the shape of these notches making it possible to place the spindle at a greater or lesser distance from the hearth 1. It also supports 2 forks 11 provided with clamping screws 12 allowing them to be placed. distance required on pin 9 and fix them there. The spindle 9 is rotated by the crank 13 or by a motor, not shown, which hooks into the opening 14 cut in one of the flanges 6. The gravy boat 15 placed under the spindle 9 when the hearth is vertical can also act as a screen when the firebox 1 is folded horizontally (fig. 3).
The gravy boat 15 is connected to the hearth 1 by the intermediary of the arms 16 which can pivot on an advanced element of the flanges 5 which allows it to be folded back onto the hearth 1 after use. The cover 17 mounted by articulation on the hearth 1 is shown open in FIGS. 1 and fig. 2 and closed in fig. 3.
Push-ups 18 projecting inside the cover 17 and corresponding to other push-ups 19, recessed, on the side walls 3 of the hearth 1 make it possible to keep the cover 17 in the closed position. The legs 20 provided with feet 21 of soft material support the hearth 1 by the intermediary of the flanges 6 to which they are secured by interlocking. In fig. 4, the flange 5 seen from the front in elevation has an advanced element on which is articulated one of the arms 16 of the sauce boat 15.
The stop 22 retains the gravy boat 15 in the open position, the ends 23 and 24 of the cam 25 cut in the flange 5 limit the rotation of the hearth by resting on the flange 26 riveted on the flange 6. FIG. 5 shows the detail of the frictional pivoting device of the fireplace 1 on the flanges 6. 4 is a head pivot, riveted to one of the side walls 3 of the fireplace 1. 3 is part of one of the side walls of the focus 1 sectional view. 5 is the flange seen in partial section showing in more detail the stop 22. 6 is a part of the flange seen in section.
7 is the washer, seen in section. 8 is an annular spring seen in profile. Fig. 6 shows the detail of one of the flanges 6 seen from the front in elevation on which 27 is a notch in which the pivot 4 can be inserted laterally and, 26 the stop against which the ends 23 and 24 of the cam 25 respectively bear. before that the hearth 1 is vertical or horizontal.
28 is another notch where the pin 9 can be placed when the hearth 1 is in a horizontal position to prevent the gravy boat 15 from falling back on the hearth. The notch 10 serves as a bearing at one end of the spindle 9 and the opening 14 allows a motor to be hooked in order to turn the spindle.
Fig. 7 is a side view of the flange 6 showing that this part is also curved at the base and comprises at least two series of semi-cylindrical knockouts 29, alternating on either side of the flanges 6, constituting cells 30 in which the jambs fit together 20.
Fig. 8 shows a detail of a cell 30, seen in transverse section showing that on one side of the flange the cutouts are continuous while on the other side they present a solution of continuity. The grill described can be dismantled after use by removing the pins 4 from the notches 27 and the legs 20 from the cells 30.
The flanges 6, the spindle 9, the forks 11, the crank 13, the jam bages 20 and possibly the motor, not shown, vent hole placed inside the hearth 1 which can be closed by folding down the gravy boat 15 and the cover 17 on the stove 1.
