<B>.</B>Gegenüber den als Ausgangssubstanzen verwendeten Monohalogentriazinfarbstoffen besitzen die erfindungs- geraässen Farbstoffe den Vorteil, dass -sie, mit den Textil- fasem viel leichter und rascher reagieren;
B. described in the following patents:
EMI0001.0040
As hydrazines with at least 2 at the same stick material atom bonded hydrocarbon radicals come z. B. contemplated are: the optionally further substituted N, N-dialkylhydrazines, especially the low molecular weight N, N-dialkylhydrazines; N, N # dimethylhydrazine (asymmetric dimethylhydrazine) is preferably used.
The reaction can be carried out in aqueous, aqueous-organic or organic solution or suspension at low or moderately elevated temperature, preferably between 0 and 50 ° C., advantageously in alkaline pH -Area, e.g. B. between <B> 8 </B> and 12, optionally in the presence of acid-binding agents such as sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide, etc. take place. The amount of substituted hydrazine can vary within wide limits, e.g.
B. from <B> 0.1 </B> equivalents to <B> to </B> several equivalents based on the halotriazine radicals present in the dye; preferably, an approximately equivalent amount is used, e.g. <B> 0.8 </B> to 1.2 equivalents of substituted hydrazine per halogen atom of the halotriazine group or groups of the dye <B> es. </B>
According to preliminary observations, the conversion of the halotriazine-containing dyes with z. B. Asymmetric ashes, Dkne "thylhydnazine without significant pH change, even if no alkali is added - it is probably not a condensation in which a chemical bond is formed with the escape of hydrogen halide,
but presumably to -an anlao "erun" o "of the tertiary part of the asymmetrical dimethylhydra = with the formation of a hydrazine salt.
After the reaction, the finished dye can be deposited from its solution or suspension, filtered off, washed and dried.
The dyes obtained are suitable for dyeing, padding and printing fibers of animal origin, e.g. B. Wool, <B> - </B> silk; of: -synthetic _polyamide fibers, e.g. B. nylon; of leather, of cellulose fibers, e.g. B. cotton, linen and fibers from regenerated cellulose, z. B. viscose rayon, copper rayon, rayon rayon as well as mixtures and / or structures of idiesen, - fibers.
The optimal application conditions are <B> depending </B> on the type of fiber and the dyes used.
The dyeing, padding and printing or fixing of the dyes from cellulose fibers is advantageously carried out in a neutral to alkaline medium, e.g. B.
in the presence of sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, caustic soda, potassium hydroxide, sodium metasilicate, sodium, borate, trinate phosphate, ammonia, etc. .
The dyeings and prints on cellulose fibers are distinguished in particular by excellent wet fastness properties. These are based on the formation of a stable chemical bond between the dye molecule.
Often not the entire amount of substance takes part in the chemical release with the fiber. The proportion of the unreacted dye <B>: </B> is removed from the fiber in these cases by suitable operations, such as rinsing and / or soaps, optionally using higher temperatures, synthetic detergents such as -z .
B. -Alkylarylsulfonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium lauryl polyglycol ether sulfate, optionally carboxymethylated alkyl polyglycol ethers and mono- and dialky phuny pc> lyclycol ethers are used.
<B>. </B> Compared with the monohalotriazine dyes used as starting substances, the dyes according to the invention have the advantage that they react much more easily and more quickly with the textile fibers;
so you can e.g. the fixation on cotton can be carried out at room temperature instead of 80-90 ° C, or the dwell time and / or the amount of alkali or the alkalinity can be reduced in the cold docking process, for example.
In comparison with the dihalp "o" entriazine dyes used as starting substances, the dyes according to the invention are distinguished by a greater resistance gk.
