Dabei erhält man zumeist Gemische verschiedener Kondensationsstufen.

Of course, not only 1: 1 metal complexes but also 2: 1 complexes can be used. The latter preferably contain chromium or cobalt as metal atoms.
11. Anthraquinone dyes The aminoanthraquinones used preferably have at least two sulfonic acid groups. Its condensable amino group is expediently linked to the anthrachinone radical via a bridge member, for example via an aromatic nucleus. The anthraquinone dyes come e.g.
B. the following formula:
EMI0005.0039

EMI0006.0001
and Y denotes hydrogen, halogen or a sulfonic acid group, it being possible for the halogen atom to be in one of the 6 or 7 positions and the sulfonic acid group in one of the 5, 6, 7 or 8 positions.
111. Phthalocyanine dyes The aminophthaloeyanine dyes to be condensed with 2,4,6-trihalo-pyrimidine are z. B. to products of the formula CPC- (S02NH-R-NHa) n J- (S02-w) ", where PC is the radical of a phthalocyanine and R is an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic divalent radical, while n is a of the numbers 1, 2 or 3; m is one of the numbers 1, 2 or 3 and w is -OH or -NHz.
These aminophthalocyanine dyes are obtained by known methods by reacting phthalocyanines which contain sulfonic acid chloride groups in the 3- or 4-positions of the benzene nuclei with suitable aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic diamines or with aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic monoamines,
which have a substituent which can be converted into the amino group. In most cases, mixtures of different condensation levels are obtained.
The reaction of the water-soluble organic dyes with 2,4,6-trihalogenopyrimidine is preferably carried out in an aqueous medium. Here, the halide can be used as such in concentrated form or dissolved in an organic solvent. Acetone, benzene, chlorobenzene and toluene are particularly suitable solvents for the halopyrimidines.
The reaction temperature is suitably adapted to the reactivity of the individual starting products and advantageously varies between 20 and 100 C. If temperatures higher than about 40 C have to be used, it is advisable, with regard to the steam volatility of the halopyrimidines, to work in vessels equipped with a reflux condenser, if necessary .
The reaction is best carried out in a weakly alkaline, neutral to weakly acidic medium, but preferably within the pH range from 7 to 3. To neutralize the resulting one equivalent of hydrogen halide, an acid-binding agent such as sodium acetate is advantageously added to the reaction solution at the beginning, or sodium or potassium carbonate or bicarbonate in solid, powdered form or as a small portion is added during the reaction concentrated aqueous solution added.
Aqueous solutions of sodium or potassium hydroxide are also suitable as neutralizing agents. The addition of small amounts of a wetting agent or emulsifier to the reaction mixture can accelerate the conversion reaction.
Up to now it has not been possible to determine which of the halogen atoms will react or whether the probability of the formation of the two isameric forms is the same.
After the condensation has ended, the finished pyrimidine dye can be salted out with sodium or potassium chloride from its previously neutralized solution or suspension, or precipitated with acid, then filtered off with suction, washed and dried.
The inventively obtainable, at least one dihalogenated pyrimidine ring carrying what water-soluble pyrimidine dyes are suitable for dyeing, padding and printing of fibers of vegetable and animal origin, of fibers from regenerated cellulose, of casein fibers, of animalized cellulose fibers, of synthetic polyamide fibers as well as of mixtures of these Fibers, and of leather.
The dyeings obtained, which are optionally subjected to an alkaline aftertreatment at elevated temperature and then soaped, have good fastness to light, washing, milling and perspiration.
Pyrimidine dyes which have more than one dihalogenated pyrimidine ring, e.g. B. two rings, naturally fix to a greater extent on the fiber than pyrimidine dyes with only one dihalogenated pyrimidine ring.
In the following examples, parts are parts by weight, percentages are percentages by weight, and temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Example 1 24.5 parts of the dye 1-amino-4- (4'-aminophenylamino) -anthraquinone-2,7-disulfonic acid are dissolved in 400 parts of water and about 15 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution dissolved neutrally and, after adding 9.2 parts of 2,4,6-trichloropyrimidine and 10 drops of a commercially available sulfonated fatty acid ester, stirred vigorously at 40 to 60 times. By adding small portions of potassium carbonate, the pH of the emulsion is kept between 3.0 and 6.5.
After the condensation reaction has subsided, 20 parts of potassium chloride are sprinkled in, which causes the pyrimidine dye to precipitate out of the solution. It is filtered off, washed with dilute aqueous potassium chloride solution and dried at 50 to 60 in vacuo. The dark powder obtained dissolves in water with a blue color. By padding cellulose fibers with an aqueous solution of this dye and subsequent heat treatment in the presence of an alkaline agent, light- and wet-fast blue dyeings are obtained.
Example 2 57.6 parts of copper phthalocyanine are introduced into 270 parts of chlorosulfonic acid and the solution is heated to 140 to 145 for 3 hours. After cooling to room temperature, the mixture is poured into an ice-water mixture, the precipitate is filtered off at 0 and it is washed with ice-cold dilute hydrochloric acid. The press cake is stirred with 300 parts of ice and 300 parts of water and then adjusted to a pH of 5 by adding dilute sodium hydroxide solution.
15 parts of 1-amino-4-acetylamino-benzene are then sprinkled in and the solution is slowly warmed to 45 to 50, the pH being kept at 5.0 to 5.5 by adding dilute sodium hydroxide solution. After 3 hours, the solution is made slightly alkaline by adding sodium hydroxide solution and it is heated to 80 for one hour. 200 parts of 30% strength hydrochloric acid are added at this temperature and the mixture is kept at 70 to 80 until the acetyl group has been completely split off. The precipitated free amino compound is then filtered off and washed with dilute hydrochloric acid.
The filter cake is dissolved neutrally in 300 parts of warm water by adding 30% sodium hydroxide solution. After adding 18.3 parts of 2,4,6-trichloropyrimidine, the emulsion is stirred vigorously for a few hours under reflux at 50 to 70, the reaction medium always being kept neutral to slightly acidic by adding dilute sodium carbonate solution.
After the conversion has ended, the solution obtained is treated to remove the small amount of unreacted trichloropyrimidine. for some time with animal charcoal. After filtration, the dye is salted out and the press cake is dried. The ground dye is a dark blue powder that dissolves in water with a turquoise blue color.
This dye can be used as follows: Cotton satin is printed with a printing paste of the following composition:

Example 3 42.1 parts of the dye 2- (4'-amino-2'-methyl-phenyl) -azonaphthalene-4,8-disulfonic acid are dissolved in 600 parts of warm water by adding 30% strength Sodium hydroxide solution dissolved neutrally. 18.9 parts of 2,4,6-trichloropyrimidine are added and the reaction mixture is heated to 65 to 70 for 4 to 6 hours with vigorous stirring in a vessel equipped with a reflux condenser. The hydrogen chloride formed during the reaction is continuously neutralized by adding 10% sodium hydroxide solution while maintaining a pH of 4.5 to 6.5.
The mixture is then briefly heated to boiling on the descending condenser, where the unreacted trichloropyrimidine, which is volatile with the water vapors, is removed. The dye is precipitated by slowly adding sodium chloride to the 70-75 warm solution. After filtering off, the press cake is dried under vacuum at 85 to 90. The dried and ground dye is a yellow powder that dissolves in water with a yellow color.
This dye can be used as follows: Cotton sateen is padded with a 3% neutral cold or warm solution of the dye obtainable according to the above information with a squeeze effect of about 75%. The material so impregnated is rolled up and dried. To fix it, the textile material is redrawn for about one hour in a warm developing bath (80 to 90 °) containing 250 parts of sodium sulfate or 250 parts of sodium chloride and 15 parts of trisodium phosphate per 1000 parts of solution.
The liquor ratio chosen for the fixation is about 1:15 to 1:50. Instead of tri-sodium phosphate, the developing bath can also contain 2 cm3 / 1 30% sodium hydroxide solution or 40 g / 1 sodium carbonate. The material treated in this way is rinsed thoroughly in cold water, then soaped at the boil for 20 minutes, rinsed again and then dried.
The reddish yellow coloration obtained in this way is extremely resistant to wet, light and soda boiling. It is also characterized by its suitability for anti-crease finishing.
Example 4 57 parts of 1-amino-4- (4'-aminophenyl-amino) -anthraquinone-2,7,3'-trisulfonic acid are dissolved in 500 parts of warm water with the addition of 30% iger sodium hydroxide solution dissolved neutrally. After addition of 27.5 parts of 2,4,6-trichloropyrimidine, the reaction mixture is stirred under reflux at 80 to 95 for 20 to 30 hours, with the addition of dilute sodium hydroxide solution constantly ensuring a weakly acidic reaction. Excess trichloropyrimidine is then removed by boiling the solution without a reflux condenser.
The dye is deposited by adding potassium chloride and then dried in vacuo. After grinding, a dark powder is obtained that dissolves in water with a blue color.
This dye can be used as follows: Mercerized cotton satin is printed with a printing paste of the following composition:
