Boîte de montre de forme carrée On a déjà proposé de maintenir le mouvement rond d'une montre, par exemple d'une montre de forme carrée, dans un cadre d'encageage auquel le fond est accroché -à cran,, ce cadre,d'encageage étant fixé à la carrure-lunette par des vis coopérant avec quatre plots soudés au fond de la carrure-lunette.
Dans une telle disposition les vis sont disposées verticalement et ne solidarisent que la carrure-lunette et le cadre d'encageage.
Il est connu, d'autre part, de solidariser le couver cle et le fond d'une boîte de montre en emboîtant le fond dans le couvercle. Le fond présente, à cet effet, des rebords sur lesquels s'ajuste le bord du couvercle, et les deux pièces sont solidarisées par des vis ou par un assemblage à cône.
Un tel assemblage, dans lequel le bord du couvercle entoure complètement les rebords du fond, alourdit la construction de la boîte et oblige à augmenter les di mensions latérales du couvercle, ce qui a pour effet de nuire à l'esthétique de l'ensemble.
Une autre réalisation, dans laquelle le cadre d'en- cageage, le bord du fond et le bord de la carrure sont solidarisés, présente, elle aussi, l'inconvénient de faire déborder le bord de la carrure sur le rebord du fond et d'augmenter les dimensions latérales de la boîte.
La présente invention a précisément pour but d'ob vier aux inconvénients précédemment cités et a, en con séquence, pour objet une boîte de montre de forme carrée destinée à contenir un mouvement rond, com prenant un fond, une carrure et des piliers en métal précieux, ainsi qu'un cadre d@encageage en métal non précieux remplissant l'espace entre le mouvement et la carrure, caractérisée par le fait que lesdits piliers sont soudés contre la paroi intérieure du fond ou de la car- rure, parallèlement à l'axe de la montre, ces piliers pré sentant chacun un tronçon dépassant respectivement le bord du fond ou celui de la carrure, tronçon contre le quel sont disposés respectivement, la carrure ou le fond,
des passages coaxiaux, perpendiculaires à l'axe de la montre, étant pratiqués respectivement dans la carrure ou dans le fond, dans les piliers et dans le cadre d'en- cageage, passages destinés à des organes d'assemblage de l'ensemble.
Sous cette forme, la présente invention offre, par rapport aux réalisations citées au préambule, l'avantage de ne pas nécessiter une augmentation des dimensions latérales de la carrure et s'applique, de ce fait, à la fa brication de boîtes à carrure-lunette étroite.
L'invention sera mieux comprise en se référant au dessin annexé qui représente à titre d'exemple, une forme particulière de l'objet de celle-ci et dans lequel la fig. 1 en est une vue générale, à petite échelle ; la fig. 2, une coupe horizontale, et la fig. 3, une coupe verticale par III-III des fig. 1 et 2 ; les fig. 4, 5 et 6 concernent des détails.
La boîte représentée comprend un fond 1 et une carrure-lunette 2 en métal précieux. Elle est de forme carrée et renferme un mouvement rond 3. A l'intérieur du fond et contre la paroi de celui-ci sont soudés qua tre piliers 4 en matière précieuse disposés parallèle ment à l'axe de la montre et présentant des tronçons 4a qui s'élèvent au-dessus du bord du fond. Un ca dre d'encageage 5 remplit l'intervalle entre le mouve ment et la boîte, et la carrure 2 est disposée au-dessus du fond et en contact avec les tronçons 4a des piliers 4.
Dans cette carrure, les piliers et le cadre d'enca- geage sont pratiqués des passages horizontaux coaxiaux 6 où sont engagées des vis horizontales 7 qui traver sent librement la carrure et les piliers et se vissent dans le cercle.
Celui-ci présente à sa partie supérieure des parties planes 8 surmontées à distance par un rebord rentrant 9 de la carrure ; dans l'espace ainsi laissé libre s'en gage un talon 10 de la glace- 11 et un paquetage d'étan chéité 12.
Dans une variante non représentée, il serait possi ble de fixer les piliers à la- carrure et de pratiquer les passages à travers le fond. Dans une autre variante, l'on pourrait tarauder les piliers pour y engager les vis de fixation.
Il est à noter, qu'outre les avantages déjà mention nés, la boîte de montre décrite offre- celui de suppri mer le rehaut et le cran de glace, ce -qui entraîne un allégement appréciable de l'ensemble.
Elle laisse enfin la possibilité de souder un tube pour couronne étanche sur le cadre d'encageage et de renforcer la protection contre la poussière. .
