Receptacle fitted with a dispenser for a powder product,
grainy, pasty or runny
Numerous containers are already known provided with a dispenser for pulverulent, pasty or liquid product and intended to ensure the flow of the product under determined conditions, but these devices frequently have drawbacks, in particular the following: their operation can become difficult or even
impossible when the material of which they are made
the contents and the material constituting the container are
of different hardnesses, as is for example
the case if the dispenser is made of plastic
such as polyethylene and metal container; - tightness is rarely ensured.
Indeed it is
essential to leave some play between the distributed
tor and the edges of the notch on which it
is fixed, and when the distributor is in
plastic its dimensions include tole
sensitive rances, which leads to exaggerate the
game in question; - the holes in the sprinklers get clogged frequently
when it comes to powdery products
hygroscopic; - the return to the closed position is not
automatically insured, which can be left
particularly annoying if they are dangerous products
rous, toxic or hygroscopic.
The object of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks. Its object is a container provided with a dispenser for a pulverulent, granular, pasty or liquid product, having a notch formed in a wall of the container, characterized in that the dispenser is formed by a body in two parts each having the general shape of a
U, these two parts being connected by a flexible tongue, one of these parts being driving and the other driven, in such a way that by acting on the driving part one obtains the release of the whole of the device out of it. 'notch, to form a distributor projecting out of the container.
The end of the driving part, close to the connecting tongue, can describe an arc of a circle by pivoting around the other end of said driving part, which remains in permanent contact with the edge of the notch on which it s 'press.
The dispenser can be made of slightly compressible plastic, such as certain qualities of polyethylene, for example, and the total length of the two flat faces of the U-shaped parts is slightly greater than the length of the notch, so that the total closure determines a compression of said faces, this compression thus ensuring the seal between the dispenser and the notch made in the container, at the same time as the locking of the dispenser in its closed position.
The drawing illustrates by way of example two embodiments of the container, object of the invention:
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view, showing the dispenser of the first embodiment in the closed position.
Fig. 2 is an end view.
Fig. 3 is a plan view.
Fig. 4 is a view in longitudinal section, showing the dispenser in its open position.
Fig. 5 is a partial plan view, along the arrow f in FIG. 4.
Fig. 6 is a perspective view of a notch receiving the dispenser.
Fig. 7 is a sectional view showing the locking position of the dispenser mounted in the notch with a curved profile, for example V-shaped.
Fig. 8 is a sectional view, showing the open position of the dispenser.
The container shown comprises a dispenser having two main parts each having the general shape of a U, the flat faces of which are connected by a flexible tongue 3.
One of the parts consists of a flat face 1 extended by a flat face forming it with the face 1 at an acute angle (this angle may vary with the nature of the product to be dispensed), and to which it is connected by a part plane lb perpendicular to face 1.
The assembly formed by the faces 1, la and lb carries two wings 4, perpendicular to said faces, and the flat face carries a spout 7, preferably made of plastic and molded with the device, to which it is connected by a flexible tongue 8 forming a joint, the wings of said spout bearing stops 10 limiting the opening thereof.
The internal edges of the wings 4 have the shape of a broken line composed of a straight segment 4a, perpendicular to the flat face 1, and a straight segment 4b, forming an obtuse angle with 4a.
In addition, each of the wings 4 is extended by a veil 4c, the role of which will be defined below.
The other part of the distributor consists of a flat face 2 carrying two wings 5 perpendicular to 2, and whose internal edges are in the form of a broken line, composed of a straight segment 5a, perpendicular to the flat face 1 , and a line segment 5b forming an obtuse angle with 5a. (This angle and that formed by 4a and 4b are determined in such a way that in the open position the edges 4b and 5b are in contact.)
The face 2 carries, at its end adjacent to the tongue 3, a gripping member, here a tongue 11, and, at the opposite end, a heel 12 extended under the flat face by a rim 2b ensuring good contact with the edge of the notch in the wall 15 of the container.
The wings 5 carry nozzles 13 engaging under the wall 15 in order to hold the dispenser in the notch.
The connecting tongue 3 carries orifices 14, arranged so that when it is folded back on itself (fig. 1, 2 and 3), said orifices are located by half on each of the two flaps formed by said folded tongue. , and the product contained in the container cannot flow since the flaps are pressed against each other (fig. 1).
On the contrary, in fig. 4 and 5, the tab 3 being unfolded, the orifices 14 are open, and it is possible to carry out the sprinkling.
If the orifices tend to become blocked (for example in the case of a hygroscopic product), the operation of the dispenser drives out the product which could have adhered to the edges of the orifices, and even if there is some remaining, a slight stroke of brush on the tongue 3 folded in the closed position easily cleaned the latter, while in known sprinklers the unblocking of the holes can only be done using a rod and takes a certain time.
In the closed position, the faces 1 and 2 are in the same plane, and their total length being slightly greater than the length of the notch, the faces 1b and 2a are strongly pressed against the edges of the notch made. in the container, and the seal is thus ensured. At the same time, the edges 4a and 5a are in contact as well as the internal faces of the two flaps formed by the tongue 3.
To open the dispenser, it suffices to pull on the tab 11, which causes the pivoting of the driving part (fig. 4), at the same time as the release of the driven part, until the edges 4b and 5b come into contact, and the maximum opening is then reached. The dispenser is thus in the sprinkler position, the orifices 14 being open, while the pouring spout has remained closed. To prevent the dispenser from closing during the sprinkling, the user maintains it by exerting pressure on the heel 12 with a finger.
If the user wishes to put the dispenser in the <x pouring position, it suffices for him to introduce the end of the nail under the spoiler 9 of the pouring spout to open the latter.
To put the dispenser back on, it suffices to exert pressure on its upper part, and it retracts inside the container, at the same time as the pouring spout and the sprinkling holes close by themselves. .
If the user exerts sufficient pressure at the end of the stroke, the dispenser is locked in its closed position.
To avoid a solution of continuity between the wings 4 and 5 in the intermediate positions between those open and closed, each of the wings is extended by a veil 4c, and said extensions engage inside the wings 5.
As for the inclination of the face 1a relative to the face 1, it has the effect of preventing that when the user wants to close the dispenser, the product does not prevent this closing by accumulating between the wall 15 and the face 1a. The inclination of this face is such that the product flows by itself inside the container and in no way hinders the closure.
The notch 16 made on one of the walls of a container 17 has a general V-shaped profile so as to allow the dispenser to be locked in the closed position.
In the example shown in fig. 6 to 8, the notch
extends over the wall or the cover of the container in a plane coincident with the general plane of one of the walls over a length substantially less than the length of the upper face of the driven part 1 of the distributor, then the wall of the container carries an inclined plane 16t in which the notch 16 extends, over a length substantially less than the length of the upper face of the driving part, The notch thus has a general V-shaped profile.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS.
7 and 8, the dispenser consists of a simple sprinkler, the sprinkling being done by one of the ends of the distributor.
The two articulated parts of the distributor are kinematically secured to one another by means of a connecting tab 3.
In the closed position, the line formed by the connecting tab 3 of the two parts of the dispenser is located beyond the plane passing through the bearing points of each of its parts, so as to ensure its locking in its closed position.
Indeed, the total length of the two upper faces of the driving and driven parts is substantially greater than the length of the notch measured along its profile, such that when closing, the faces 1 and 2 are in a same plane, producing a significant compression effect on the support points of the distributor; then beyond the plane in which the surfaces of the distributor are aligned, the latter is subjected to a lower compression but sufficient for it to come to rest on the profile of the notch.
To open the dispenser by acting for example on the gripping tab 11, it is necessary to overcome the compression effect which increases, until the surfaces 1 and 2 are located in the same alignment, then the dispenser stops working. 'be compressed and open easily.
In order to ensure the automatic closing of the dispenser on the profile of the notch, an elastic element forming a spring, such as piano wire 19 or flexible blade, is fixed to the dispenser between the driving part and the driven part.
The spring element is supported on an extension 19 of the heel 12 and, on the other hand, on a stop 20 formed in the driven part of the dispenser, thus separating the latter from the driving part, which forces the dispenser to close. .
