Geschirrspülmaschine Gegenstand der vorliegenden, Erfindung ist eine Geschirrspülmaschine mit einem Behandlungsraum, in welche mindestens ein Korb mit Geschirr einge4 schlossen werden;
kann und in welchem das von einer Pumpe geförderte Spülmittel durch ein Sprüh rohr auf die zu reinigenden Gegenstände verteilt wird und das Spülmittel am Boden des Behandlungs, raumes durch ein Sieb zur Pumpe zurückgelangt.
Es ist bekannt, bei Geschirrspülmaschinen im Behandlungsraum am Boden ein Sieb anzuordnen, in welchem gröbere Speisereste zurückgehalten werden, damit dieselben während des eigentlichen Spülvor ganges nicht in die Pumpe .gelangen können.. Das Entfernen dieser Speisereste aus dem Sieb nach be endetem Spülvorgang ist jedoch zeitraubend und um ständlich.
Die Geschirrspülmaschine gemäss vorlie- gender Erfindung unterscheidet sich von bekannten Ausführungen dadurch, dass das Sieb als zylindri scher Körper ausgebildet ist, welcher um eine Verti kalachse drehbar gelagert ist und zugleich auf- und abbeweglich angeordnet ist, wobei eine Feder das Sieb über den Boden des Behandlungsraumes anhe ben kann.
In den Zeichnungen: ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt. Es zeigen: Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch die Gescbirrspül- maschine, Fig. 2 einen Vertikalschnitt bzw.
eine Ansicht des Siebes in, vergrössertem Massstab, und Fig.3 einen Schnitt gemäss Linie III-III in Fig. 2 durch den Boden des Behandlungsraumes.
In. Fig. 1 ist mit 1 eine Geschirrspülmaschine be zeichnet, welche einen Behandlungsraum 2 und eine Spühnittelpumpe 3 aufweist.
Mit 4 ist ein unterer und mit 5 ein oberer Korb bezeichnet, auf welchen das zu reinigende Geschirr aufgelegt wird. An der Rück- wand 6 des Behandlungsraumes 2 ist ein Flansch 7 befestigt, in welchem das Stützrohr 8 befestigt ist. Am vorderen und am hinteren Ende des Stützrohres 8 sind Lagerstellen für das Spühlrohr 9, welches gleichachsig über das Stützrohr geschoben ist, ange ordnet.
Die Pumpe 3 fördert das Spülmittel durch die Steigleitung 10 in ,das Stützrohr 8, und von diesem in das Sprührohr 9. Das Sprührohr 9 verteilt das Spül- mittel auf das zu reinigende Geschirr in den Körben 4 und 5. Das vom- Geschirr abfliessende Spülmittel sammelt sich im Becken 11 und .gelangt durch das Sieb 12 wieder zur Pumpe 3.
In Fig. 2 ist das Sieb in vergrössertem Massstab auf der linken Seite im Schnitt und. auf der rechten Seite in Ansicht von vorn gezeichnet. Das Sieb 12 besteht aus einem Deckel 13 und einem Siebunterteil 14, welche beide tellerförmig mit gleichem Aussen durchmesser hergestellt sind. Zwischen.
dem Deckel 13 und dem Siebunterteil 14 befindet sich das eigent liche Sieb 15, dessen Öffnungen mit 16 angedeutet sind. Eine Vertikalachse 17 ist fest verbunden mit dem Lagerkreuz 18. 19 ist eine kragenförmige Ver tiefung im Boden des Behandlungsraumes. In diese Vertiefung 19 kann das Lagerkreuz 18 von Hand eingesetzt oder herausgehoben werden.
Im Innern des Siebes 12 ist eine zylindrische Schraubenfeder 20 angeordnet, an deren Enden Lagerkörper 21 und 22 befestigt sind. Der obere Lagerkörper 22 ist in den Deckel 13 eingepresst. Der untere Lagerkörper 21 stützt .sich auf einem Ring 23 ab, welcher seinerseits auf dem Lagerkreuz 18 ruht.
Die Lagerkörper 21 und 22 ermöglichen eine Drehung um die Vertikalachse 17, gleichzeitig .aber auch ein Heben und. Senken des Siebes 12 in Richtung der Vertikalachse 17.
Mit einer Verschluss-Schraube 24 und einem Gleitring 25 kann die Hubbewegung des Siebes 12 nach oben be- grenzt werden. Die Wirkungsweise des .dargestellten Siebes ist folgende: Bei stillstehender Pumpe 3 befindet sich das Sieb 12 in ,der Grundstellung, welche auf .der lin ken Seite von Fig. 2 im Schnitt dargestellt ist.
Bei angehobenem Sieb 12 bildet sich auf der Unterseite des Siebes ein: kreisringförmiger Durchlass 25, durch welchen Spülmittel und Speisereste ungehindert hin- durchgelangen können. Sobald die Pumpe arbeitet, zieht deren Saugwirkung das Sieb in die Arbeitsstel lung, welche in Fig. 2 auf der rechten Hälfte in An sicht dargestellt ist. Bei eingeschalteter Pumpe kann nur noch Spülmittel durch ,die Öffnungen 16 des Siebteils 15 zur Pumpe gelangen. Die Speisereste bleiben an der Aussenseite des Siebes hängen.
Am Ende .des Spülvorganges wird das Spülmittel abge pumpt, so dass sich das Niveau des Spülmittels rasch bis zum Sieb 15 absenkt. Sobald durch die Öffnungen 16 nebst Spülmittel .auch Luft gelangt, hört die Saug wirkung der Pumpe auf das Sieb 12 auf, und die Feder 20 kann das Sieb wieder in die Grundstellung anheben. Am Sieb anhaftende Speisereste werden nun durch den kreisringförmigen Durchlass 25 ent fernt und mit dem restlichen Spülmittel abgepumpt.
Um die Siebreinigung zu verbessern und zu beschleu nigen, kann während. des Abpumpvorganges durch eine Düse 26 Wasser in tangentialer Richtung auf den Siebteil 15 gespritzt werden. Der Wasserstrahl aus der Düse 26 dreht das Sieb um die Achse 17 und spült die noch anhaftenden Speisereste in den Durch- lass 25 und durch die Pumpe aus der Maschine her aus.
Die Geschirrspülmaschine gemäss vorliegender Erfindung gestattet eine rasche und wirksame Reini- gung des Siebes 15 während dem Abpumpen des Spülmittels. Die Siebreinigung kann mit dieser An- ordnung als Teil eines selbsttätig sich abwickelnder Spülprogrammes vorgenommen werden.

The dishwasher according to the present invention differs from known designs in that the sieve is designed as a cylindri cal body which is rotatably mounted about a vertical axis and at the same time is arranged to be movable up and down, with a spring pushing the sieve over the bottom of the Can raise the treatment room.

The pump 3 conveys the detergent through the riser 10 into the support pipe 8, and from there into the spray pipe 9. The spray pipe 9 distributes the detergent to the dishes to be cleaned in the baskets 4 and 5. The detergent flowing off the dishes collects in basin 11 and passes through sieve 12 back to pump 3.

the cover 13 and the lower sieve part 14 is the actual sieve 15, the openings of which are indicated by 16. A vertical axis 17 is firmly connected to the bearing cross 18. 19 is a collar-shaped recess in the bottom of the treatment room. In this recess 19, the bearing cross 18 can be inserted or lifted out by hand.
In the interior of the sieve 12, a cylindrical helical spring 20 is arranged, at the ends of which bearing bodies 21 and 22 are attached. The upper bearing body 22 is pressed into the cover 13. The lower bearing body 21 is supported on a ring 23, which in turn rests on the bearing cross 18.
The bearing bodies 21 and 22 allow a rotation about the vertical axis 17, at the same time .aber also a lifting and. Lowering the sieve 12 in the direction of the vertical axis 17.

When the sieve 12 is raised, a circular opening 25 is formed on the underside of the sieve, through which detergent and food residues can pass unhindered. As soon as the pump works, its suction pulls the screen in the working position, which is shown in Fig. 2 on the right half in perspective. When the pump is switched on, only detergent can get through the openings 16 of the sieve part 15 to the pump. The leftovers stick to the outside of the sieve.
At the end of the rinsing process, the detergent is pumped off so that the level of the detergent drops quickly to the sieve 15. As soon as air and rinsing agent pass through the openings 16, the suction effect of the pump on the sieve 12 ceases, and the spring 20 can raise the sieve back into the basic position. Food residues adhering to the sieve are now removed through the circular passage 25 and pumped out with the remaining detergent.
To improve and accelerate screen cleaning, during. During the pumping process, water can be sprayed onto the sieve part 15 in a tangential direction through a nozzle 26. The water jet from the nozzle 26 rotates the sieve around the axis 17 and rinses the still adhering food residues into the passage 25 and out of the machine through the pump.
The dishwasher according to the present invention allows quick and effective cleaning of the sieve 15 while the detergent is being pumped out. With this arrangement, the sieve cleaning can be carried out as part of a washing program that runs automatically.
