Fig. 1 zeigt ein mechanisch elektrisches Schalt bild.
Fig. 4 zeigt eine teilweise geschnittene Ansicht in Richtung des Pfeiles IV in Fig. 2 gesehen.
Additional patent to the main patent No. 388768 Cinematographic recording camera with built-in exposure meter The present invention has a further development from those according to the claim of the main patent and relates to a cinematographic recording camera with a built-in, battery-powered exposure meter and several camera functions control the adjuster,
which has a safety position with a device for disconnecting the camera drive and the battery and also a battery test position for the direct connection of the exposure galvanometer to the battery via a test resistor. In the exemplary embodiments of the main patent, the adjuster is provided as a rotary switch, in which the individual switching elements are staggered around the axis of rotation in the radial and axial directions. This structure requires a roughly cylindrical space, which is not always available in cinema cafes.
It has now been shown that the individual switching elements can be better accommodated in the camera housing determined by the dimensions of the larger built-in elements if they are arranged flat on the camera wall. According to the present invention, this is achieved in that the battery test position return spring switch end position is formed in which the switch is loaded by a return spring which automatically returns it to the neighboring position after being released and that the adjuster has a rotary knob that operates via a pinion adjusted a slide switch.
In the area of the axis of rotation, only the pinion needs to protrude into the camera's interior, while the slide switch can be guided close to the camera wall, on which the individual switching elements that scan the slide position can also be arranged. The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a mechanical electrical circuit diagram.
Fig. 2 shows in the same representation a Be tenansicht of the associated switching device.
FIG. 3 shows a section along the line III-III in FIG. 1.
FIG. 4 shows a partially sectioned view in the direction of arrow IV in FIG. 2.
In the drawing, 1 denotes a partition in the housing of a cinema camera, which divides a gear space 2 and a space 3 from one another, the latter containing the essential parts of an exposure control device. In an indentation of a side wall 4 of the housing (Fig. 4), a rotary knob 5 is mounted, the characters B (battery test), L (barrel) on its circumference , S (fuse) and M (engine battery test). These characters can be compared to a brand 6 fixed to the housing.
The rotary knob is made of plastic and has a pinion 7, which engages in the toothing 8a of a slide switch 8, molded onto the inside of the housing (FIG. 2). Furthermore, a cup-shaped barrel 9 is injected into the rotary knob (FIG. 4) in which a cup-shaped locking body 10 with a hemispherical locking lug 10a is slidably mounted and is under the influence of a helical compression spring 11, which is supported on the two cup bottoms.
The locking body 10 also has a stepped stop surface 9a.
With 12 a carrier plate for the entire switching device is designated, which is fastened by screws 13 to an intermediate housing wall 14, but can in principle also be attached to the side wall 4 designed as a gear cover. The carrier plate 12 has a counter-holder segment 15 which is provided with two latching recesses 16, 17 (FIG. 2) for the switching positions L and S (FIG. 1) and has two inclined switching tabs 18 which rise from the latching recesses towards the ends pass into stops 19 for the stop surface 9a. In the switch positions L and S, the rotary knob is held firmly by its locking device.
From these intermediate positions, however, it can only be moved against the force of the spring 11 into the end positions B and M , the latching body 10 sliding along the inclined surfaces 18a of the switching tabs 18. As soon as the rotary knob is released, it is automatically brought into the adjacent switching position L or S by the spring 11 and the wedge effect occurring on the switching tab.
The slide switch 8 is shown in Fig. 3 in Ausspa ments 20 of bent tabs 12 a of the support plate 12 out. It is made of plastic and has three conical switch cams 8b, 8c and 8d. About spacer sleeves 21, an electrically insulating plate 23 is attached to the support plate 12 by means of screws 22. Five pairs of contacts a, b, c and e are attached to this by means of rivets 24 (FIG. 2) and further insulating plates 25, each of which consists of contact springs 26 (a, -e,) and 27 ( a2-e2) pass.
Whilst the contact springs 26 essentially retain their position during the switching process, the con tact springs 27, which are held at a distance from the contact springs 26 when not in operation, are pressed against the contact springs by the switching cams 8b, 8c, 8d 26 pressed and are provided with run-up slopes 27a to facilitate the Schaltvor gear. In FIG. 1, the contact springs 26 and 27 of the contact pairs a to e are denoted by a, to e, and a2 to e2.
The contacts c 1, d and e are connected together and connected by a line 28 to the galvanometer 29 of the exposure control device. The contact e2 is connected to the light meter battery 32 through a test resistor 30 and a line 31. In the switch position, according to FIG. 2, only the contact pair e is closed. The voltage of the battery 32 is measured by the galvanometer 29. This voltage is sufficient when the pointer 29a of the galvanometer is in the field 33 visible at the bottom right in the viewfinder window.
If the pointer moves out of this field to the left during the battery test, the battery voltage is no longer sufficient for proper exposure control.
If the rotary knob 5 is released in position B, it automatically moves into the position L. in the manner described above. In the running position L , the switching cams 8b and 8c are Contact couples b and d closed. Via d2 and line 34 with series resistor 35, either a photo resistor 38 is connected upstream of the galvanometer by a manual adjuster 36 by means of contact 37 or the voltage supplied to the galvanometer is changed by adjusting along the sliding resistor 39, thereby setting the receiving aperture indirectly by hand.
At the same time, the motor circuit for a drive motor 40 from a motor battery 41 consisting of several cells 41a via lines 42 and 43 to a trigger switch 44 is prepared by the contact pair b. The ground connection for the motor circuit is labeled 45 and the ground connection for the light meter circuit is labeled 46. The exposure meter therefore already controls the aperture as soon as the rotary knob 5 is brought to the L position. In contrast, the camera gear only begins to run when the release switch 44 is closed. The camera engine must be moved mechanically.
If the rotary knob 5 is now turned further to the position S, all contact pairs are released and thereby all circuits are interrupted. When turning further into the position M, the contact pair 8a is closed by the switching cam 8b and the contact pair c is closed by the switching cam 8c. Via contact c, the motor battery 42 is thus connected to the galvanometer of the light meter with the interposition of a series resistor 47, while a further resistor 48 is connected in parallel through the contact pair a, and a2 the light meter branch.
The resistance values of resistors 38 and 47 on the one hand and resistor 30 on the other hand are matched to one another and to the voltages of the two batteries 41 and 32 so that the same field 33 visible in the viewfinder window can be used to check the limit voltages of both batteries.
As soon as the knob 5 is in the position M free, it is automatically brought under the influence of the spring 11 by sliding the locking body 10 along the inclined switching tab 18 in the adjacent safety switch position S and there by engaging the locking body in the associated Rastver recess 16 recorded. The rotary knob can therefore only assume the switch positions S and L without being influenced by external forces. Here, too, various intermediate switch positions can be provided for single image, continuous operation and, if necessary, also for different speeds.
