Description

      Lamellenpanzer für Rollamellenstore Gegenstand' der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Lamellenpanzer für Rollamellenstore, der aus einer Mehrzahl von im Querschnitt gewölbten Metallamel len gebildet ist, die einen einwärts gebogenen vorde ren Rand und einen auswärts gebördelten hinteren Rand besitzen, an welchem hinteren Bördelrand Tragbänder derart angelenkt sind, dass sich die La mellen in Schliesslage gegenseitig überlappen.

   Beim  Schliessen der Lamellen eines     Lamellenpanzers    dieser  Art schlägt der einwärts gebogene vordere Rand  jeder Lamelle unmittelbar vor dem     hinteren        Börd'el-          rand    der     nächstunteren    Lamelle gegen die letztere,  was meist nicht unbeträchtlichen Lärm verursacht;

    da die Metallamellen üblicherweise auch lackiert sind, kann dieses Gegeneinanderschlagen der Lamel len schon nach kurzer Zeit zu einer Beschädigung der Lackschicht der betroffenen Lamellen-Aussenseite führen, wodurch der Panzer besonders in der Offen lage der Lamellen rasch unansehnlich: werden könnte. Beim Auf- und Abrollen des Lamellenpanzers kann ausserdem nicht verhindert werden, dass die Lamellen mit ihrem vorderen Rand auf der Oberseite der be nachbarten Lamelle unmittelbar vor deren hinteren Bördelrand scheuern und dadurch ebenfalls die Lackschicht nach kurzer Zeit verletzen.

    In den meisten Fällen wird man die Leiste aus transparentem Material herstellen. Es ist aber auch möglich, Farbe oder Leisten so zu wählen, dass diese Leisten als Zierelemente herangezogen werden kön-

      Slat armor for roller blinds subject 'the present invention is a slat armor for roller blinds, which is formed from a plurality of arched in cross-section Metallamel len having an inwardly curved vore Ren edge and an outward beaded rear edge, on which rear beaded support tapes are hinged that the slats overlap each other in the closed position.

   When the lamellas of a lamellar armor of this type are closed, the inwardly curved front edge of each lamella hits the latter immediately in front of the rear flanged edge of the next lower lamella, which usually causes not inconsiderable noise;

    Since the metal slats are usually also painted, this clashing of the slats can lead to damage to the paint layer on the outside of the affected slats after a short time, which could quickly make the armor unsightly, especially when the slats are open. When rolling up and unrolling the lamellar armor, the front edge of the lamellae cannot rub against the top of the adjacent lamella immediately in front of its rear beaded edge and thereby also damage the paint layer after a short time.

  The present invention aims to avoid the disadvantages mentioned, for this purpose the lamellar armor according to the invention is characterized in that a strip of rubber-elastic material is anchored in the beaded edge of each lamella and covers a section of the lamella top side adjacent to the beaded edge.

  When the lamellae of the lamellar armor according to the invention are closed, the front, inwardly curved lamella edge no longer hits the next lower lamella, but rather the strip made of rubber-elastic material anchored in the flange edge of this lamella, which dampens the impact and thus undesirable noise and Damage to the lacquer coating on the lamella is prevented. The bar is expediently made of transparent material.

       In the accompanying drawing, a part of the embodiment of the fiction, according to lamellar armor is shown diagrammatically.

  In -der drawing are 1 painted Metallamel len of the slatted armor of a roller blind be characterized. These lamellas 1 have an inwardly curved front edge 2, a slightly outwardly curved middle part 3 and an outwardly flared rear edge 4. The section 3a of the middle part 3 adjacent to the rear beaded edge 4 is slightly bent inward.

   The individual lamellae 1 are connected to one another by metal strips (not shown) that they overlap slightly in the closed position shown, ie. H. the front inwardly bent edge 2 of a lamella engages over the rear beaded edge 4 of the next following lamella.

   The steel strips mentioned, not shown, run in a manner known per se along the inside of the armor and are hinged to the flanged edge 4 of the lamellae 1 by means of suitable eyelets. Guide pins 5 are attached to the end faces of the lamellae 1 (only one shown), and in fact these are riveted to the lamella 1 by means of a flange 6 resting against the inner side of the lamellar central part 3.

   This attached to non-ge signed guide straps bolts 5 can be made of metal or plastic or coated with plastic; the latter has the advantage of less noise when these bolts slide in assigned guide rails (not shown) when the lamellar armor is wound and unwound. In an analogous manner, the eyelets engaging the flange edge for fixing the bands to the lamellas can be made of plastic or have a plastic coating.

  As can be seen from the drawing, the bead 7a of a strip 7 made of rubber, plastic or some other rubber-elastic material is anchored in the flanged edge 4 of the slats 1. The edge bead 7a of the bar 7 can be inserted during the manufacturing process of the lamella when flanging the edge 4 with; the arrangement can be such that the bead 7a is clamped in the latter when the flange 4 is closed.

   The bar 7 protruding from the beaded edge 4 covers the top of the inwardly bent section 3a of the lamellar middle part 3, so that when the lamellar armor is closed, the front inwardly curved edge of each lamella 1 rests on this bar 7 of the next lower lamella 1. Since any metallic contact between the slats is avoided; this allows a noise-free closing of the armor, since the strip of rubber-elastic material effectively dampens the impact of the front lamella edges 2; it also prevents paint chipping or chafing.

    In most cases, the bar will be made of transparent material. But it is also possible to choose the color or strips so that these strips can be used as decorative elements.
