Fastening device for window blinds The invention relates to a fastening device for window blinds and the like with a support box to be provided above the window for at least two parallel plastic wires, adjustable at a distance from the wall, for guiding the blind slats and one bracket each, which is attached to the wall and serves as a counter bearing for the louvre wires.
Since the plastic wires, preferably wires made of Perlon (registered trademark), expand for various reasons, for example under the influence of moisture, these guide wires often have to be retightened after they have been installed. In addition, the guide wires also change as a result of the shrinkage or other loads that always occur in construction. In addition to these changes in length of the plastic guide wires, their lateral change in position relative to the wall is necessary. Depending on the installation conditions, the lateral distance between the guide wires and the wall must be kept different.
In the known blind fastening devices, for the purpose of longitudinal adjustment of the guide wires, a thread has been cut on their lower end and the wire is clamped by lock nuts on the bracket which is fastened in the masonry. Different brackets were used depending on the respective installation conditions, which are designed according to the necessary wall clearance of the guide wire.
Since, depending on the installation conditions, the length of the guide wires and their distance from the wall are differently large, these installation conditions must be taken into account when placing the order with the known fastening devices for blinds, since the device must be manufactured individually in accordance with the specified individual wet.
Apart from the fact that the exact dimensions can only be determined by an expert hand and therefore the measurement alone is time-consuming and expensive, cutting the thread on the technical Perlon guide wire including the manufacture of the lock nuts is expensive and readjustment is cumbersome as it can only be done after loosening the lock nuts using a wrench. The invention aims to create a simple and cheap fastening device for window blinds that is simple and easy to adjust in the longitudinal direction and can be adjusted to the required distance from the wall.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that each guide wire is connected with its upper end to a length compensation spring seated in the support box, adjustable at its lower end in a longitudinal slot provided with locking openings and held in the bracket by an elastically deformable clamping disc.
The object of the invention is shown in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment.
1 schematically shows a side view of a fastening device according to the invention, FIG. 1 a is a section through the holding bracket and FIG. 2 is a plan view of the same, FIG. 3 shows the tension spring washer as an individual part, partly in section, partly in elevation, 3a is a plan view thereof.
The support box 1 is attached to the wall 11 in a manner known per se. This support box is used to suspend the guide wires 2 for the individual blind slats. The guide wires 2, preferably wires made of Perlon (registered trademark), are connected to a length compensation spring 3, which is seated in the support box 1, and held on the spring by means of a nut 12. At the bottom, the guide wire 2 is passed through the holding bracket 5, which serves as an abutment when the guide wire 2 is tensioned. The Haltewin angle 5 is also attached to the masonry 11 and has a longitudinal slot 4 which connects the locking openings 6, 6 ', 6 "with each other.
The guide wire 2 can be passed through one of the latching openings 6, 6 ', 6 ″ according to the respective conditions. According to the invention, an elastically deformable clamping disk 7 is provided for bracing the guide wire 2 on the holding bracket 5. It can be easily inserted in the manner of a barb in the direction of the upper suspension of the guide wire 2. This is achieved in that a spring washer 8 with slots 9 is embedded in the clamping disk 7 (see FIG. 3) and has a passage opening for the guide wire 2, the edge 10 of which is opposite the direction of displacement of the clamping disc 7 is flanged.
This beaded edge of the hole 10 rests firmly against the guide wire 2 under spring tension and holds the clamping disk in its respective position on the guide wire 2.
The clamping disk 7 made of plastic has a collar 7 'which protrudes in the direction of the locking opening 6 of the bracket 5 and whose diameter is adapted to that of the locking openings 6, 6', 6 " of the locking openings 6, 6 ′, 6 ″ are used, so that the guide wire 2 has a desired large distance from the masonry 11.
If the guide wire 2 has loosened for any reason, the clamping disc 7 is moved so far upwards after tensioning the guide wire 2 until it holds the guide wire 2 under sufficient tension in the desired locking opening 6 of the clamping bracket 5. The arrangement of the conical length compensation spring 3 has the advantage that a very large spring deflection is obtained, since the windings of the conical spring interlock so that the spring can be completely compressed. In addition, the broad base gives the spring a firm footing so that it does not tip over completely.
