Two-part or multi-part., Metallic or non-metallic roof edge termination, especially for. Flat roofs It is a one-piece, in cross-section F-shaped eaves profile for flat roofs with gravel stop be known, in which the middle transverse leg serves as a support leg for the roof edge. Stone screws with dowels are used as fasteners.
Although such a profile is not very expensive to produce, it is extremely uneconomical in terms of assembly, since the entire profile must be removed due to its one-piece design when repairs are required.
It is already known to combine a roof end with the verge cladding. In this embodiment, an angle profile is also attached by dowels in the masonry along the edge of a flat roof so that one leg is directed vertically upwards directly at the edge of the roof. The verge cladding is hooked into this leg and connected to the angular strip with screws. It was also proposed in this connexion to run the angle and verge profile in one piece.
However, in order to avoid so-called fluttering in strong winds, it is necessary to secure the lower edge of the verge profile by special brackets on the face of the roof edge. This embodiment also has the disadvantages of those described above. Even if the angle profile and the local gang profile are designed separately, the connecting screws must be loosened in the event of repairs. This is not only time-consuming, but also has the well-known after parts, such as rusted nuts, in itself.
For the reasons mentioned above, attempts have already been made to combine the bracket to be fastened to the roof edge with the verge profile by means of a clamp connection in the case of metallic roof edge finishes. However, in order to maintain the advantages of such a clamp connection, it is necessary to make it as simple as possible, which on the other hand reduces its safety. The proposals that have become known in this field are distinguished by smooth surfaces, straight edges and, for example, also simple and quick assembly.
A significant disadvantage is deliberately kept quiet in these lists, namely the high impact sensitivity of such clamp connections. It is often enough to lean a ladder against the roof edge to release it, especially in the case of joints from below.
The present invention avoids the disadvantages mentioned above and relates to a two-part or multi-part, metallic or non-metallic roof edge termination, in particular for flat roofs, which is characterized in that the end profile approach via a cross-sectionally spherical web that is attached to the underside of the horizontal leg of the Closing profile is provided, is mounted in the manner of a ball joint in the trough-shaped upper edge of the retaining profile, the counter-bearing consisting of two mutually snap-in webs,
one of which is attached to the retaining profile and to the end profile, and the front edge of which is provided with two bead-like projections that are vertically aligned with one another.
On the vertical web of the holding profile, one or more horizontally outwardly directed webs can be provided to keep the distance from the vertical leg of the end profile.
Likewise, on the same free leg of the retaining profile, two shorter, also outwardly directed and parallel webs for screw connections that may be provided, for example in connection with the roof covering, serve as a rotation lock for the screw heads.
Furthermore, the actual mounting device for the roof end profile can be designed separately from the mounting bracket and connected to it by screws in such a way that the height of the end profile is adjustable. Finally, there is the possibility of combining the roof edge termination according to the invention in a manner known per se with wall cladding profiles.
In the figures, exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings.
1 shows in cross section a roof edge closure according to the invention during assembly, which is completed according to the illustration in FIG.
Fig. 3 differs from the representation according to Fig. 1 essentially in that the Hal sion for the end profile of the mounting bracket on the roof edge is separated and is connected to this ver by screws in the vertical direction.
4 shows a roof edge termination according to the invention in connection with a multi-part wall cladding.
The roof edge termination according to FIG. 1 has the holding profile 1 and the termination profile 2 fastened to this by means of a clamp connection.
The upper edge of the upwardly directed free web 3 of the retaining profile 1 is in the form of a trough 4 forms in which a web-like approach with the edge 5 of the end profile 2, which is spherical in cross section, is mounted in a ball-and-socket fashion.
After inserting the edge 5 into the tub 4, when the end profile 2 is rotated in the direction of arrow A, the two vertically oppositely aligned beads 6 and 7 of the web-like lugs 8 and 9 of both the retaining profile 1 and the end profile 2 mutually engage. In this way, a so-called snap bracket is created,
which represents the counter bearing to the ball joint 4-5. The horizontal web 10 on the tub 4 serves to keep the vertical leg 11 of the end profile 2 spaced apart. The clamp connection according to the invention, as shown in the locked state, for example in FIG. 2, can only be opened by pulling off the leg 11 in the direction B can be solved. The roof edge is provided with the reference number 12 in each case.
The two parallel ver webs 13 and 14 on the leg 3 of the retaining profile 1 serve as a rotation lock for any screw connections to be provided.
In the representation according to FIG. 3, the actual mounting profile 15 is separated from the mounting bracket 1 and connected to it, for example by screws, in such a way that the closing profile 2 has the option of inserting it within the limits of a bore 16 in the leg 3 of the retaining profile 1 to vary vertically. In the same way, horizontal compensation is possible through the two bores 17 and 18 in the horizontal limb 19 of the retaining profile 1.
4 shows a roof end profile according to the representation according to FIG. 2 in connection with a wall cladding 20. The wall cladding 20, known per se, is in this case made in several parts and over the web 21 of the retaining profile 1 and the groove 22 on the upper edge of the Wall profile 20 connected.
