Fauteuil pour salle de spectacle On connaît divers types de fauteuils dont le ber ceau joue le rôle de conduit pour le refoulement ou pour l'aspiration d'air conditionné.
Certains d'entre eux sont constitués par un pied tubulaire vertical ajouré au sommet duquel est fixé le siège. Cette disposition présente cependant l'in convénient d'exiger, pour un débit suffisant, un tube relativement long et d'empêcher de la sorte de créer un fauteuil qui soit bas et confortable.
On a eu également l'idée de disposer au sommet du tube vertical un tube horizontal s'étendant au- dessous d'un ou de plusieurs fauteuils et dont la surface également perforée permet de diminuer la longueur des pieds verticaux et par là de créer des fauteuils légèrement plus bas. Cette solution n'est cependant pas absolument satisfaisante en raison de la place relativement grande que prend le tube hori zontal et de l'effet inesthétique de ce tube qui appa- rait sous le siège.
On a eu l'idée de créer des fauteuils dans les quels l'air est éjecté par les accoudoirs ou même par le siège du fauteuil après avoir traversé les accou doirs et le tube autour duquel bascule ce siège. Il s'agit cependant là de dispositions relativement com pliquées qui n'ont, elles non plus, donné satisfaction.
La présente invention a précisément pour objet un fauteuil dont le berceau joue le rôle de conduit d'ali mentation pour l'air conditionné et qui comprend un pied vertical surmonté d'un élément horizontal. Ce fau teuil est caractérisé par le fait que l'élément horizon tal est au moins partiellement caché dans la partie inférieure du dossier et qu'il est disposé à cet effet approximativement à la hauteur du siège lorsque ce dernier est dans sa position horizontale.
Les dessins annexés représentent, à titre d7exem- ple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention. La fig. 1 est une vue en perspective de ce fau teuil ; la fig. 2 en est une coupe verticale et la fig. 3 représente une coupe selon III-III de la fig. 2.
Le fauteuil représenté au dessin comprend un berceau 1 auquel sont fixés par l'intermédiaire de plaques 1 f des accoudoirs 2 et 3 ainsi qu'un dossier 4 et un siège basculant 5.
Le berceau 1 est formé d'un pied tubulaire surmonté d'un élément transversal creux lb commu niquant avec le pied qui est fixé au sol par une bride 6a, au-dessus d'une canalisation 6. Cette dernière amène de l'air conditionné d'une source d'alimenta tion centrale non représentée et le laisse s'échapper dans la salle à travers les ouvertures lc du pied et les canaux 1d de l'élément horizontal lb.
Cet élément est légèrement cintré dans les plans horizontaux et verticaux de manière à épouser la forme du bas du dossier. Il peut être de section rec tangulaire comme de section circulaire ou ovale. Il peut être réalisé en différentes manières, par exem ple en tôle soudée ou en fer profilé ou mieux être venu d'une pièce avec le pied la en fonte injectée par exemple.
Le siège 5, qui est constitué par un fond 5a en bois ou en matière plastique est recouvert par un rembourrage 5b. Il est articulé sur les accoudoirs 2 et 3 en 7 à une hauteur correspondant approxima tivement à celle de l'élément 1 b de manière à mas quer ce dernier. La course angulaire du siège 5 est limitée par deux organes de butée 8 solidaires l'un de la face interne de l'accoudoir 2 et l'autre de celle de l'accoudoir 3.
Cette butée est formée d'une pièce métallique recourbée à l'une de ses extrémités 8a et coopère avec un levier 9 solidaire du siège qui bute contre cette extrémité lorsque le siège est levé (traits mixtes) ou contre la face inférieure de cette pièce 8 lorsque ce siège est en position horizontale.
Le dossier du fauteuil est constitué par une ar mature cintrée 4a, de bois ou de matière plastique, recouverte de velours et s'étendant au-dessus de l'élé ment 1 b dont elle recouvre totalement la face posté rieure. Cette armature est fixée aux accoudoirs 2 et 3 par des tiges filetées non représentées; la face anté rieure est garnie d'un rembourrage 4b par exemple de mousse de caoutchouc ou de plastique. Dans une variante non représentée, ce rembourrage pourrait être monté sur une coquille se fixant amoviblement à l'armature 4a par des moyens adéquats.
Ce fauteuil présente de nombreux avantages. D'abord son berceau est d'un usinage aisé puisqu'il peut être obtenu d'une pièce en fonte injectée ; en suite il est d'une utilisation très souple en permettant une fixation aisée des accoudoirs ; il peut en outre être utilisé pour des fauteuils de formes extrême ment différentes notamment pour des fauteuils rela tivement bas et profonds ; enfin, il permet d'obtenir un débit d'air suffisant sans dispositif technique compliqué et surtout sans faire apparaître d'éléments inesthétiques.
Armchair for auditoriums Various types of armchairs are known, the cradle of which acts as a conduit for the discharge or for the suction of conditioned air.
Some of them are made up of a perforated vertical tubular foot at the top of which the seat is fixed. However, this arrangement has the disadvantage of requiring, for a sufficient flow, a relatively long tube and thus preventing the creation of a chair which is low and comfortable.
We also had the idea of having at the top of the vertical tube a horizontal tube extending below one or more armchairs and whose also perforated surface makes it possible to reduce the length of the vertical legs and thereby create slightly lower armchairs. However, this solution is not absolutely satisfactory because of the relatively large space taken up by the horizontal tube and the unsightly effect of this tube which appears under the seat.
We had the idea of creating armchairs in which the air is ejected by the armrests or even by the seat of the armchair after having passed through the armrests and the tube around which this seat swings. However, these are relatively complicated provisions which have not proved satisfactory either.
The present invention specifically relates to an armchair, the cradle of which acts as a supply duct for the air conditioning and which comprises a vertical foot surmounted by a horizontal element. This chair is characterized by the fact that the horizontal element tal is at least partially hidden in the lower part of the backrest and that it is arranged for this purpose approximately at the height of the seat when the latter is in its horizontal position.
The accompanying drawings show, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the present invention. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of this chair; fig. 2 is a vertical section thereof and FIG. 3 shows a section along III-III of FIG. 2.
The armchair shown in the drawing comprises a cradle 1 to which are fixed by means of plates 1 f armrests 2 and 3 as well as a backrest 4 and a tilting seat 5.
The cradle 1 is formed by a tubular foot surmounted by a hollow transverse element 1b communicating with the foot which is fixed to the ground by a flange 6a, above a pipe 6. The latter brings in conditioned air. a central power source not shown and lets it escape into the room through the openings 1c of the foot and the channels 1d of the horizontal element lb.
This element is slightly curved in the horizontal and vertical planes so as to match the shape of the bottom of the backrest. It can be of rec tangular section as of circular or oval section. It can be produced in different ways, for example in welded sheet metal or in profiled iron or better still come in one piece with the foot in injected cast iron for example.
The seat 5, which consists of a bottom 5a made of wood or plastic, is covered by a padding 5b. It is articulated on the armrests 2 and 3 in 7 at a height corresponding approximately to that of the element 1b so as to hide the latter. The angular travel of the seat 5 is limited by two stop members 8 secured, one to the internal face of the armrest 2 and the other to that of the armrest 3.
This stop is formed of a metal part bent at one of its ends 8a and cooperates with a lever 9 integral with the seat which abuts against this end when the seat is raised (dashed lines) or against the underside of this part 8 when this seat is in a horizontal position.
The back of the chair is made up of a mature arch 4a, of wood or plastic, covered with velvet and extending above the element 1b, of which it completely covers the posterior face. This frame is fixed to the armrests 2 and 3 by threaded rods, not shown; the anterior face is lined with a padding 4b for example of foam rubber or plastic. In a variant not shown, this padding could be mounted on a shell which can be removably fixed to the frame 4a by suitable means.
This chair has many advantages. First, its cradle is easy to machine since it can be obtained from an injected cast iron part; then it is very flexible to use, allowing easy attachment of the armrests; it can also be used for armchairs of extremely different shapes, in particular for relatively low and deep armchairs; finally, it makes it possible to obtain a sufficient air flow without complicated technical device and above all without revealing unsightly elements.
