The use of cap or leukocin ester dyes or of diazo-developing dyes based on naphthol for the fast dyeing of fiber materials which consist of or contain C'cllulose is well known. Combination deaths with mixtures of different components within the specified dye categories or the successive application of the dyes of different compound classes according to separate processes (double dyeing) have also been described (cf.
NC 163 Areas of application for Napilthol AS, sample card from Naphthul-Chemic, Offenbach, from 1952; Textil-Praxis 1957. Issue 9, pages 912 ff. And 1134 ff .; ¸Technical advice from Hoechst¯ textile no. 64 from 1961) for certain colors. To produce effects or special fastness properties. For example, double colorings of Leukoküpencster dyes are produced to create deep nuances.
The production of specially selected shades of color on cellulose fiber material is generally carried out with the aid of over-color operations using products from different classes of dyestuff.
BriHante and real green tones are brought up, for example, by the fact that a false greenish tint made on the textile article based on a naphthol-diazo development with a derivative of acetoacetylamino-benzene as a coupling component and a suitable diazo component after its completion with a b! also dyed with a turquoise phthalocyanine dye.
There has also been no lack of attempts in practice to apply development components based on naphthol with other classes of dyes together, but successful combinations of this type have only become known in the field of textile printing. Here z. B. in the so-called ¸Afrikadruck¯ diazol¯sungen of primary aromatic amines in printing pastes together with reactive dyes. especially those of the vinyl sulfone type. Printed on naphtholized stucco to achieve mixed tones. In the field of dyes, the best possible solution would be to jointly populate coupling components with reactive dyes and then develop the azo dye with a diazo solution (cf. Zeitschrift fur die Gesamt Textilindustrie, 61/1 [1959]).
Sotes 30 and 32). Technically, however, great difficulties result from this type of operation. that the reactive dye reacts m @@ the coupling component. In unthickened liquors, on the other hand, the reactivity with the diazosa would mostly cause fouling if they are used together in the developing bath.
Dic FR-Natcntschrift 616 373 hcschrciht a procedure for coloring cotton with cap and azo dyes, the materials are impregnated with an azo component and a small amount of cap dye and then the cap dye with oxidizing agents to become insoluble pigment oxidized and at the same time or subsequently developed the azo dye with a diazole solution.
With this state of the art, there is a working method according to which the various dye components are applied in several stages.
How CI gives a summary assessment of the state of the art relevant to this special FÏrber @ is @ ktor. the nuance of un @ os @ chen azo dyes created on the fiber has always caused considerable difficulties. so that for a long time in practice there has been a need to solve this problem in an operational manner. The solution to this problem has so far remained open. because either the coupling component or the diazo component with an added dye causes undesirable side effects.
It has now been found that naphthol diazo developing dyes, in connection with Kupene dyes, can be applied in one or two stages to textile materials which consist of cellulose fibers or which contain cellulose fibers in a single bath, which can be done continuously, e.g. B. after a padding process, as well as after Auszichvcrfahren can be successful.
The present invention thus relates to a process for dyeing cellulose fibers or their mixtures with synthetic fibers, preferably polyester fibers. with combinations of water-insoluble azo dyes and copper dyes produced on the fiber, resistant to a swelling operation, and copper dyes in the same bath, which is checked by the fact that one uses aqueous liquors without a) at least one component capable of azo coupling and b)
a stabilized diazoamino compound and at least one dispersed stone dye are applied simultaneously to the textile material, care being taken for 11 conditions. Which are sufficient for the development of the azo dye by cupping, then the applied cupping dye is bound in the alkaline-reducing medium in the corresponding leuco compound, this is fixed on the fiber and then, if necessary, rcoxylated to the insoluble pigment in an acidic environment with the help of oxidizing agents.
In contrast to the state of the art mentioned, the process according to the invention only fully exhausts the advantages of a single bath method, with dyeing being possible both continuously and after the exhaust process.
For the implementation of the process according to the invention, among the numerous available hand-made products of coupling or diazo components or their bases or stabilized derivatives, as well as among the cap dyes, depending on the intended hue or effect, the weight In connection with the present invention, it could not be expected that emc coupling in the strongly alkaline range with one or the other process variation without any difficulty he follows.
There is also no impairment of the color produced in this way due to a lack of rubbing fastness.
It has also been observed that azo dyeings with coupling components represent the derivatives of acetoacetylamine benzene ("yellow naphthol"). are not influenced by the vaporizing and fixing conditions for cap dyes, which enables simultaneous or single-bath application
Finally, diazo components without specific stabilization are normally unstable in the alkaline medium or in the aikahsch-reducing medium; A single-bath application in the alkaline tanks of the coupling components is therefore mostly reserved for the stabilized diazoamino compounds.
However, very special staining processes offer the possibility - as can be seen from the examples - to circumvent these difficulties.
For the process according to the invention, the coupling components known from the ice color technique come into consideration, with preference being given to using those with a substantive character compared to the fiber materiala).
These are connections. (Lies in posthardening to a hydroxy group have coupling and core dissolving groups, in particular aryl amides of aromatic or heterocyclic o-hydroxycarboxylic acids or of acyl acetic acids as well as other aromatic or heterocyclic hydroxy compounds and preventions. dic contain an enolizable or enolized ketomethylene group which is in a heterocyclic ring.
Such substances are, for example, arylamides of 2. 3-hydroxynaphthoic acid, 2-hydroxyanthraccine-3-carboxylic acid, 4-hydroxydiphenyl 3-earhonic acid, 2-hydroxycarbazole-3-carboxylic acid, 3-hydroxydiphenylene oxide-2-carboonic acid, 3-hydroxy diphenylene sulfide-2-carboxylic acid, acetoacetic acid or benzoyl acetic acid. The so-called yellow naphthols are of particular importance in the context of the present invention. H. Coupling components based on acetoacetylaminobenzene derivatives, or “red naphthols”. d. H. Coupling components from the range of ¯-hydroxy naphthoes5urearylamides, too.
As diazonium compounds for the development of azo dyes it is possible to use all fast coloring salts obtainable by stabilization from primary aromatic amines which have the abovementioned coupling! ungskompo- nent wet-insoluble mono-, dis- or polyazo dyes. The amines suitable here, which also include aminoazo dyes. do not have any ionogenic substituents and are known as diazo components from the Eisfarbenentech @ k.
In connection with the present invention, vat dyes are those of the indigo type. Thioindigos and their proprietary derivatives, the anthraquinone dyes with one or more anthruchinoma nuclei. of the indanthron. Flavanthrons and anthraquinone carbazoles. the acridone. (Thio) oxanthrones. Pyranthrones. Anthranthrones and anthrimides and dibenzanthrone and dibenzpyrenquinone u. a. to understand.
The inventive method for dyeing Textilmatcrialien with combinations of azo developing dyes and K penfarbstoffen can be applied to the known cellulosic fibers and mixtures of synthetic fibers, eg. B.
Polyester fibers and cellulose fibers are used. In this context, cellulose fibers are native fibers such as flax and hemp. Linen and cotton. or regenerated fibers such as viscose, cotton, and modal fibers.
Exhaust process (single-bath / multi-stage) 1. Prime yellow coupling component + stabilized diazoamino compound + dispersed vat dye.
2. Development of the azo pigment on the fiber by acid / usatx to the dye bath.
3. Vatting and fixing of the Leukoküpenfarhstotfes through
Sodium dithionite and alkali.
4. Oxidation for the development of the bottle dye. 5. Post-treatment.
With regard to the technical progress achieved by the method according to the invention compared to the corresponding prior art, this is expressed as follows in the fields of application explained after stchcnd:
As is well known, the multiple peroxide wash fastness according to DIN 54015 is an important smoke fastness for cotton goods, which corresponds to household linen.
For orange tones, made from coupling components that are derivatives of 2, 3-HydroxynaphthoesÏureanilids. In connection with diazo components that provide orange tones, this peroxide wash fastness is only quite moderate. Although there is no bleeding of the color on white, these orange colorations experience almost without exception a dullish color change to the brown side under this stress, which negates the original high liveliness.
Gcibtonc based on coupling components which are derivatives of acetoacetylaminobenzene, in conjunction with dia / o components for red dyeing, behave very well in the peroxide wash sample.
According to the method according to the invention, it is now possible, by simultaneously using red vat dye, to obtain orange tones with very good peroxide washability. Strong naphthol and even a small amount of pint dye result in lively, very real orange tones. and these nuances can also be produced economically.
In the series of color shades that can be produced on the fiber using the azo process, there is a certain gap in the green sector that cannot be bridged in every shade
According to the process according to the invention, combinations of developing dyes based on azo can be applied together with skin dyes, with no restriction to be expected with regard to hue and depth of color. These widely variable and interesting shades of green are also economically viable in the production.
With the orange or green colors produced in this way, interesting colored effects can be achieved by printing on alkaline etching pastes based on sodium sulfoxylate / formaldehyde and finally steaming:
With a white printing paste without any special additives, the naphtholxol becomes red; is partially etched, while the cap dye component remains unaffected.
If this whiteness also contains dimethyl phenyl-henryl-ammonium chloride, mixed coloring with a naphthol yellow component will result in this and only the vat coloring will be etched with etching printing pastes. which also contain anthraquinone. Both dye components can be etched.
The C'olour-Indcx numbers given in the examples for the characterization of the dye were taken from the 2nd edition of 1956 and the supplement from 1963.

Stahitized diazoamino compound of 4-chloro-2-amino-1-methylbenzene hydrochloride (according to DBP 1 262 957) dissolved in 45 ml of water at 70 C; B. 4 g of Tcrephthaloyl-bis- (1-acetoacetylamino-3-methyl-4-chloro-6-methoxybenzene) with a mixture of 8 ml denatured ethanol.
8 ml of water at 40 C and
2 ml sodium hydroxide solution 32.5% (38¯ BÚ) dissolved; C. 4 g of Vat Blue 21 vat dye - C.I. 67 920, mixed in microdisperse form with 20 ml of water at 40 C.
At Schlass, the dye bath prepared in this way is filled to one liter with water.
With this liquor, a cellulose fabric is placed on the jigger in the F! otten ratio of 1: 5 treated for 40 minutes at 20 ° C. After two passages, each liter of liquor is added
30 g sodium sulphate calc. and treats the goods with this bath for another 40 minutes. Without changing the liquor, the azo dye is then developed
15 ml of acetic acid (60%) are added and the textile is treated for a further 30 minutes at 20 ° C. under these conditions. Then, to vat and fix the vat dye in its leuco form, the liquor is added per liter
16 ml sodium hydroxide solution 32.5% (38¯ BÚ) and
10 g sodium dithionite are added and the goods are treated with it at 20 C for 20 minutes.
This liquor is then drained off and the vat dye in a fresh oxidation bath containing 1 liter of water
10 ml of hydrogen peroxide (50%) oxidized at 20 C within 20 minutes. Finally, the dye is rinsed cold and warm and 15 minutes at boiling temperature with a bath that
0.25 ml sodium hydroxide solution 32.5% (38¯ BÚ) and
2 g of an anionic detergent based on
Contains oleylmethyltaurine per liter, soaped.
An attractive green dyeing with very good fastness properties is obtained.
Etching printing pastes with sodium sulfoxylate / formaldehyde, alkali and sodium disulfonic acid of dimethylphenylbenzylammonium chloride, with or without anthraquinone, produce interesting colored etching effects on the green color.
The use of the alkali-resistant diazoamino compound of 6-chloro-2-amino-1-toluene hydrochloride instead of the diazo component mentioned gives equally good results with regard to color tone and fastness properties.
