Dose mit Deckel
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine durch einen Deckel verschliessbare Dose, insbesondere für pulvrige, hygroskopische oder aus einem anderen Grund einen luftdichten Abschluss verlangende Substanzen.
Zugleich wird damit ein sogenannter Garantieverschluss angestrebt, d. h. man soll die fabrikfrische Verpackung nur öffnen können, indem man an ihr eine nicht mehr rückgängig zu machende Veränderung vornimmt.
Die erfindungsgemässe Dose ist gekennzeichnet durch die Kombination eines mit dem Deckel ein Stück bildenden und ihn formschlüssig mit der Dose zusammenhaltenden Aufreisstreifens mit Mitteln, welche den Deckel durch Drehung in einer Richtung mit der Dose verbinden und durch Drehung in der anderen Richtung von ihr lösen.
In der einzigen Figur der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der erfindungsgemässen Dose dargestellt.
Die Dose 1 ist aus Blech hergestellt und weist im wesentlichen die Form eines auf einer Seite durch einen ebenen Boden geschlossenen Hohlzylinders auf.
Am offenen Ende der Dose ist ihr Rand nach innen umgestülpt, um diesen zu versteifen und einen Wulst 2 ohne scharfe Kante zu bilden, der die von einem guten Sitz für eine Dichtung verlangten Eigenschaften aufweist. In einiger Entfernung vom offenen Ende ist in die Dose eine ringsum laufende, vorspringende Rippe, eine sogenannte Sicke 3 eingewalzt oder eingepresst, und zwischen dieser Sicke 3 und dem freien Rand ist eine Reihe von kurzen Rippen 4 in gleichen Abständen um den Umfang der Dose verteilt. Die Rippen 4 sind etwas gegen die Umfangsrichtung geneigt, und zwar so, dass sie Abschnitte rechtsgängiger Schraubengänge darstellen.
Die Dose 1 ist durch einen aus Blech hergestellten und aus einem Stück bestehenden Deckel 5 verschlossen, welcher gleichfalls im wesentlichen die Form eines auf einer Seite offenen Hohlzylinders aufweist, dessen Innendurchmesser aber etwas grösser ist als der Aussendurchmesser der Dose 1. Die ihn ab schliessende Kreisscheibe 6 ist etwas gegen den äussersten Rand zurückversetzt, wodurch sich in der Ecke eine Ausbuchtung ergibt, in welche eine Dichtung 7 aus elastischem oder plastischem Material eingelegt werden kann. Der Umfang des Deckels 5 ist mit einem Satz länglicher Vertiefungen 8 versehen, die in gleichen Winkelabständen wie die Rippen 4 der Dose 1 verteilt sind. Die Vertiefungen 8 sind auch mit der gleichen Steigung wie die Rippen 4 angeordnet und stellen Abschnitte rechtsgängiger Innengewindegänge dar.
Der Deckel 5 trägt an seinem offenen Ende zwei Sicken 9 und 10, die längs einer ringsum laufenden, V-förmigen Einkerbung 11 aneinandergrenzen. Bei der Herstellung des Deckels 5 wird die Sicke 9 noch nicht mit der gezeichneten Form hergestellt, sondern man lässt das freie Ende des Deckels vom äussersten Punkt der Auswölbung an zylindrisch verlaufen.
Bei der Verpackung des Doseninhaltes wird der Deckel 5 nach Art eines Bajonettverschlusses auf die Dose 1 aufgesetzt und durch eine Rechtsdrehung, welche durch eine Riffelung 12 des Deckels 5 erleichtert wird, angezogen, wobei die oberen Ränder der Rippen 4 und die unteren Ränder der Vertiefungen 7 zusammenwirken und den Deckel 5 durch axialen Druck mit der Dose 1 verspannen. Dabei wird das in den Ringraum in der Ecke des Deckels 5 eingelegte Dichtungsmaterial 7 auf den Rand 2 der Dose 1 gepresst und stellt einen nötigenfalls luft- und feuchtigkeitsdichten Abschluss her. Die Sicken 9 und 10 sind in solchen Abständen vom verschlossenen Ende des Deckels 5 angebracht, dass die Vertiefung 11 beim Aufsetzen des Deckels 5 nahezu zum An schlag mit der Sicke 3 der Dose 1 kommt.
Nunmehr wird die Sicke 9 fertig gewalzt, indem das zylindrische Ende des Deckels 5 nach innen gepresst wird, bis es satt an der unteren Flanke der Sicke 3 anliegt.
Nunmehr ist die Dose dicht geschlossen und kann ohne Verletzung des Deckels 5 oder der Dose 1 nicht mehr geöffnet werden. Solange keine solche Verletzung festzustellen ist, besteht Sicherheit, dass die Dose noch nicht geöffnet und ihr Inhalt nicht angetastet wurde.
Vom freien Ende des Deckels 5 her ist ein schräg bis zur Einkerbung 11 verlaufender Einschnitt 13 geführt, und auf der Seite, wo der Einschnitt 13 mit dem freien Umfang des Deckels 5 einen spitzen Winkel einschliesst, ist ein Aufreisslappen 14 angebracht, welcher geriffelt ist, um ihn leichter fassen zu können. Zum Öffnen der Dose ist dank dieser Anordnung kein Werkzeug nötig; man braucht nur am Lappen 14 zu ziehen, wodurch sich die als Aufreis streifen wirkende Sicke 9 leicht längs der Einkerbung 11 vom Deckel 5 abreissen lässt und sich ein glatter Rand ergibt. Nunmehr kann die Dose 1 durch eine Linksdrehung des Deckels 5 geöffnet werden und lässt sich nach Gebrauch durch eine Rechtsdrehung wieder dicht verschliessen. Die Sicke 10 ist eine Verstärkung des Deckels 5, welche das Aufreissen des aus der Sicke 9 bestehenden Aufreisstreifens massgebend erleichtert.
Ihre wichtigste Wirkung ist jedoch die, dass beim Aufreissen an der Kerbe 11 kein scharfer Grat entsteht, an welchem man sich verletzen könnte.
Als Material für den Deckel 5 kann Blech, z. B.
Aluminium-, Weiss- oder Schwarzblech verwendet werden, aber auch andere Stoffe, insbesondere Plastic-Materialien eignen sich dafür.

The invention relates to a can which can be closed by a lid, in particular for powdery, hygroscopic substances or substances that require an airtight seal for another reason.
At the same time, a so-called guarantee lock is sought, i.e. H. the packaging fresh from the factory should only be opened by making an irreversible change to it.
The can according to the invention is characterized by the combination of a tear strip that forms one piece with the lid and holds it together in a form-fitting manner with means that connect the lid to the can by rotating it in one direction and detach it from it by rotating it in the other direction.
In the single figure of the drawing, an embodiment of the can according to the invention is shown.
The can 1 is made of sheet metal and essentially has the shape of a hollow cylinder closed on one side by a flat bottom.
At the open end of the can, its edge is turned inside out in order to stiffen it and to form a bead 2 without a sharp edge, which has the properties required of a good fit for a seal. At some distance from the open end, a projecting rib running all around, a so-called bead 3, is rolled or pressed into the can, and between this bead 3 and the free edge a number of short ribs 4 are distributed at equal intervals around the circumference of the can . The ribs 4 are inclined slightly against the circumferential direction, specifically in such a way that they represent sections of right-hand screw threads.
The can 1 is closed by a cover 5 made of sheet metal and consisting of one piece, which also essentially has the shape of a hollow cylinder open on one side, but whose inner diameter is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the can 1. The circular disc closing it 6 is set back somewhat towards the outermost edge, which results in a bulge in the corner into which a seal 7 made of elastic or plastic material can be inserted. The periphery of the lid 5 is provided with a set of elongated depressions 8 which are distributed at the same angular intervals as the ribs 4 of the can 1. The recesses 8 are also arranged with the same pitch as the ribs 4 and represent sections of right-hand internal threads.
At its open end, the cover 5 has two beads 9 and 10 which adjoin one another along a V-shaped notch 11 running all around. When producing the cover 5, the bead 9 is not yet produced with the shape shown, but the free end of the cover is allowed to run cylindrically from the outermost point of the bulge.
When packaging the contents of the can, the lid 5 is placed on the can 1 like a bayonet lock and tightened by turning it to the right, which is facilitated by a corrugation 12 of the lid 5, the upper edges of the ribs 4 and the lower edges of the recesses 7 cooperate and clamp the lid 5 with the can 1 by means of axial pressure. In the process, the sealing material 7 inserted into the annular space in the corner of the lid 5 is pressed onto the edge 2 of the can 1 and, if necessary, produces an air- and moisture-tight seal. The beads 9 and 10 are attached at such distances from the closed end of the cover 5 that the recess 11 almost comes to a stop with the bead 3 of the can 1 when the cover 5 is put on.
The bead 9 is now completely rolled by pressing the cylindrical end of the cover 5 inwards until it rests snugly against the lower flank of the bead 3.
The can is now tightly closed and can no longer be opened without damaging the lid 5 or the can 1. As long as no such damage can be detected, there is certainty that the can has not yet been opened and its contents have not been touched.
From the free end of the cover 5 there is an incision 13 running obliquely up to the notch 11, and on the side where the incision 13 forms an acute angle with the free circumference of the cover 5, a tear tab 14 is attached, which is corrugated, to be able to grasp it more easily. Thanks to this arrangement, no tools are required to open the can; you only need to pull on the flap 14, whereby the bead 9 acting as a tear strip can easily be torn off the cover 5 along the notch 11 and a smooth edge results. The can 1 can now be opened by turning the lid 5 to the left and can be tightly closed again after use by turning the lid to the right. The bead 10 is a reinforcement of the cover 5, which significantly facilitates the tearing open of the tear strip consisting of the bead 9.
Their most important effect, however, is that when the notch 11 is torn open, there is no sharp burr on which one could injure oneself.
