Vessel with closure
The invention relates to a vessel with a closure, in which the closure is held on the neck of the vessel by ribs which are arranged on mutually facing surfaces of the closure and the vessel.
In such known devices, e.g. B. in a bottle with a lid, these ribs consist of screw threads.
A screwable closure has the disadvantage that it can easily be released. Snap locks, which are often used, do not have this disadvantage, but they have the disadvantage that when the locking parts belonging to one another are brought into engagement with one another, the wall of the vessel can be easily depressed under the pressure exerted, because for economic reasons the Vessel walls are not made thicker than necessary for normal use. This is particularly the case when the vessels are made of thermoplastic material. These difficulties are particularly common with automatic closure devices.
The present invention aims to design a vessel with a closure in such a way that these disadvantages are avoided or reduced.
According to the present invention, a vessel is provided with a closure, in which the closure is secured on the neck of the vessel by means of ribs which are arranged on the mutually facing surfaces of the vessel neck and the closure, the ribs being designed and arranged in such a way that, If the closure is pushed onto the neck in a certain mutual position of the neck and closure, these ribs are able to slide over one another by elastic deformation, since the ribs only touch each other at two different points progressively along their entire length.
The neck or the closure can be designed to be elastic or consist of elastic material which enables this elastic deformation.
Advantageously, both the neck and the closure are made of elastic material so that both can contribute to this elastic deformation.
After the closure has been placed on the neck of the vessel, it can be rotated into a closure position with respect to the neck so that the ribs are opposite one another over a greater part of their length, so that a significantly greater deformation is necessary in order to remove the ribs To slide the closure over each other again when they are in this locking position.
The ribs advantageously form closed rings which are located in planes, at least one of which is inclined to the neck axis or to the closure axis. If the planes containing the mutually interlocking ribs incline at the same angle to the direction of the axes, the closure can be rotated relative to the neck after the ribs have snapped into place so that these planes are parallel to one another.
In this position, the closure can practically no longer be opened, since this would require a simultaneous deformation of the ribs over their length around the neck.
The profile of the interlocking pair of ribs is advantageously such that the ribs interlock more closely in the closed position than in the position before they interlock.
A lid is advantageously used as the closure. According to an embodiment of the invention, a container is provided with a closure lid, the container having a neck, around the outer surface of which a rib is arranged which forms a ring which is located in a plane inclined to the axis of the neck, and the lid has a has similar ring on the inner surface, which is located in a similarly inclined plane to the axis of the lid. The device can be designed so that, when the lid is oriented relative to the neck so that the two planes of its ribs are inclined in opposite directions, the lid can be easily pushed onto the neck by making the two ribs elastically deformable at two points interlock.
The lid can then be rotated into a position in which the ribs overlap over the entire length of the neck ribs.
An embodiment of the invention is described in accordance with the accompanying schematic drawings, which show:
1 shows a side view of a bottle neck and a lid before the lid is put on,
Fig. 2 in side view and partial section the attached cover and
3 shows a view similar to that in FIG. 2, but with the cover in the closed position.
In this embodiment, the invention is shown on a bottle with a lid. To the bottle neck 1 made of elastic plastic, for. B. thermoplastic material, an endless rib 2 is arranged. This rib 2 forms a ring which is located in a plane inclined to the axis of the bottle neck 1. On the inner surface of the lid 3, which is made of a similar material, there is a similar rib 4. To place the lid 3 on the bottle neck I, the lid is placed opposite the bottle neck in such a position that the planes which the ribs 2 and 4 contain, are not parallel to one another, advantageously i; into a position in which these planes are inclined in opposite directions, as shown in FIG.
When the lid 3 is pushed over the bottle neck 1, the ribs 2 and 4 touch each other only in two places, can easily be bent, and can give way to each other at the points of contact so that the lid can be pushed onto the bottle neck without any effort can.
According to FIG. 2, the two ribs have already been partially slipped over one another. In this
Figure the lid is already in its lowest position. When the lid is rotated, it arrives in the position shown in FIG. 3, in which the ribs engage inein other over their entire length and hold the lid 3 firmly on the neck 1 Fla.
It is also possible to change the dimensions in axial
Direction should be chosen so that the ribs can only be pushed completely over one another by axial displacement of the cover when putting on, and only then is the cover rotated into its closed position.
The rib 4 has an inclined profile edge on its lower side, while the upper edge is at right angles to the direction of the bottle axis. This arrangement makes it easier to slide the cover on and makes it more difficult to remove the cover.
