Abstract

1,000,641. Container closures. UNILEVER Ltd. Feb. 18, 1963 [Feb. 16, 1962], No. 6423/63. Heading B8T. A container neck 1 and closure cap 3 have ribs 2 and 4 respectively in the form of closed rings lying in planes inclined to the axis of the container neck; the cap or neck or both are of flexible material and the cap is applied by forcing its ribs over the neck ribs as shown in Fig. 2 and then rotating the cap until its rib engages below the entire length of the neck rib.
