Device on an electric hand drill for the optional changeover of the latter for rotary drilling and hammer drilling. The invention relates to a device on an electric hand drill for the optional changeover of the latter for rotary drilling and hammer drilling.
The invention thus makes it possible to convert an electric drill intended for turning the drilling for Ge stones into a drill that can work with rotating drilling as well as with beating the drilling.
It is known per se a hammer drill with an interposed between the motor gearbox and the drill chuck, acting on the axially displaceable Bohrspin del and adjustable to different Schlagampli tuden hammer drilling device, in which the motor transmission and the hammer drilling device is combined into a unit to be set on the motor .
With this arrangement, the accommodation of the hammer drilling device in the gear compartment has a disadvantageous effect, as the foreign bodies and wear contaminants resulting from the wear of the hammer disks are released in the immediate vicinity of the gear bearings and mix with the gear in grease.
The invention is based on the technical problem of creating an attachment of the type mentioned, which can generate an impact movement of any adjustable amplitude to the rotating movement of the drilling spindle and which can be placed on the gear head of normal one and two-joint electric hand drills that contamination of the gear grease through the wear and tear of the striking disks is excluded.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a toothed disc is supported in front of the front ball bearing of the drilling machine and a correspondingly toothed bushing firmly seated on the drilling spindle can be axially displaced to a limited extent together with the latter, the displacement being dependent on the axial movement of a rotatable setting ring is adjustable via an axially unilateral bearing.
In the following the invention is explained using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing. 1 shows a section through the device arranged in the gear head of the drilling machine; Fig. 2 shows part of the grid of the adjusting ring with the stop in cooperation with the spring-loaded locking part in the counterpart of the adjusting ring; 3 shows the arrangement of the setting symbols on the setting ring or on the gear head.
In the gear head 1 of the drill, the drill spindle 1 runs in the ball bearings 3 and 4. Before the front ball bearing 3, a toothed disc 6 is net angeord with the interposition of a plate spring 5.
This disc 6 is clamped between a shoulder of the gear head 1 and the counterpart 7, which is screwed on the one hand to the housing (see screw 9). Following the toothed, that is to say stationary, disk 6, a toothed sleeve 10 corresponding to the toothed disk 6 is firmly placed on the drilling spindle 2. The adjusting ring 8 is in multi-start thread engagement with its counterpart 7.
When rotated it therefore moves in the axial direction. The outer ring 11 'of a ball bearing 11 acting axially on one side is firmly connected to the setting ring, while the inner ring 11 ″ of the bearing is firmly seated on the drilling spindle 2.
The helical spring 12, which is supported on the one hand on the inner ring of the ball bearing 3 and on the other hand on the spindle 2, keeps the toothed disks 6 and 10 out of engagement when idling; it is arranged in the bore of the toothed washer 6 and ro benefits with the drilling spindle 2. As a helical spring, it keeps the wear of the toothed disks 6, 10 from the gearbox through its rotation and at the same time supplies these disks 6 and 10 with grease from the gearbox.
The drilling spindle 2 ends in a cone 2 'on which commercially available drill chucks can be placed.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, which shows a section of the grid 8 "of the inner end face 8 'of the setting ring 8, which consists of several locking holes arranged along a circle, the engagement of the spring-loaded ball 13 mounted in the counterpart 7 causes a fixation the setting ring 8 in various positions caused by the notches.
The symbols 14 on the setting ring 8 on the one hand and the symbol 14 'on the gear head hub on the other hand, the respective working position of the machine, or the size of the stroke amplitude can be seen from Fig. 3. At one end of the grid there is a stop 15 which limits the rotational movement of the ring 8 in one direction.
A flapping movement of any amplitude is achieved by the arrangement described as follows: The setting ring 8 is rotated while orienting towards the symbols 14, 14 '. Here he wanders in the axial direction into that end position in which the setting ring protrudes the furthest from the gear head hub. In this end position, the balls held in the ball cage of the firmly verbun with the setting ring which outer ring 11 'of the ball bearing 11 are on the single shoulder of the inner ring 11 ".
In this position, toothed washer 6 and toothed sleeve 10 are out of engagement. The drilling spindle 2 is prevented from a rearward axial movement by the ball ring of the ball bearing, which is held indirectly by the setting ring and rests against the shoulder of the inner ring firmly connected to the drilling spindle.
This is the drilling setting in which the drill rotates exclusively and has no axial impact movement.
By turning the adjusting ring 8 in the direction of the other end position, in which the adjusting ring is farthest into the gear head hub, the outer ring 11 'with its ball cage is axially carried along.
The ball ring of the ball bearing held by the ball cage of the outer ring 11 'is removed from the shoulder of the inner ring 11 ", as a result of which the drilling spindle and the inner ring 11" can now follow the drilling pressure, so it can move axially with the sleeve 10 to a limited extent.
The drilling spindle 2 moves axially in the direction of the drive motor. In the course of this movement, the teeth of the toothed sleeve 10 can penetrate the teeth of the toothed disk 6 initially weakly and then more and more. The further the A setting ring 8 gets in the direction of the end position, the deeper the teeth of the toothed washer 6 and GE toothed sleeve 10 interlock. The stroke amplitude is increasingly increased.
In this way it is possible to bring the toothed sleeve 10 with the toothed disc 6 more or less into engagement and a correspondingly large amplitude by turning the adjusting ring, the grid 8 "on the end face 8 'of the adjusting ring 8 in Cooperation with the spring-loaded ball 13 in the counterpart 7 a fixation of the adjusting ring in any desired position it permits.
The advantage of the device shown arises primarily from the fact that the device for percussive drilling is arranged in the hub of the gear cover of an electric hand drill built only for rotary drilling.
This only makes it possible to install a device with a drill spindle for both percussive and rotary drilling in drilling machines intended only for rotary drilling.
