Heating body of a hot water production apparatus The present invention relates to a removable heating body of a hot water production apparatus, comprising an elongated hearth tube and a smoke channel connected to said tube-hearth.
The heating body according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least two vertical channels connecting the hearth tube to the smoke channel, one of these channels being adjacent to the inlet of the hearth tube and the other adjacent to the other end of the latter, a combustion chamber upstream of the hearth tube and fitted at its inlet end with a flange for fixing to the hot water production appliance,
and a tube arranged inside the smoke channel in such a way that the combustion gases coming from the inlet of the hearth tube pass into the annular space formed between the outside wall of this baffle tube and the inside wall of the tube. smoke channel to finally enter: said tube through an opening in its wall and that the combustion gases from the other end of said hearth tube circulate through said inner tube.
The single figure of the drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the heating body forming the subject of the present invention.
The heating body is shown in longitudinal section and comprises a hearth tube 1 and a smoke channel 2 connected to this hearth tube by a vertical channel 3 adjacent to the inlet of said tube 1 and a vertical channel 4 adjacent to the inner end of this tube 1.
A combustion chamber 5 is formed at the inlet of the hearth tube 1 and receives the flame from a burner 6 shown in phantom. A sand blanket 7 is placed at the bottom of the hearth tube 1 to absorb and distribute the condensation forming on the interior walls of the heating body.
The bottom of the combustion chamber 5 is lined with refractory bricks 8 for protection. A tube 9 having flanges 10 and 11 as well as an opening 12 formed in its wall in the vicinity of the flange 11, is mounted inside the smoke channel 2 so as to form a baffle and to brake the gases from combustion from vertical channel 3.
The outlet end of the smoke channel projects outside the plane of a flange 13 fixed on a corresponding flange 14 of the hot water production apparatus comprising a casing 15, hermetically closed and in which the the water is under pressure.
On the other hand, the combustion chamber 5, the inlet end of which is provided with the flange 13, extends entirely inside the casing 15, which makes it possible to avoid heat losses such as 'was the case when the combustion chamber was arranged outside the hot water production device, under a protective cap.
During the operation of the burner 6, part of the combustion gases rises directly in the channel 3 and circulates around the tube 9 in the annular space 9 'formed between its outer wall and the inner wall of the smoke channel 2. These braked gases transmit their heat to the walls' of the heating body and from there to the water contained in the casing 15.
The other part of the gases pass through the inner end of the hearth tube 1 and circulate through the tube 9, the annular space 9 'being closed by the bri of 10 and 11.
The outer end of the smoke channel 2 has a flange 16 on which is fixed a corresponding flange 17 of a discharge pipe 18. This assembly allows easy sweeping of the pipe 18 and the smoke channel.
To this end, the tube 9 is taken out and can be cleaned separately, the channel 2 can then be swept without difficulty. It has been observed that significant condensation forms inside the described heating body. The sand blanket 7 makes it possible to overcome this drawback advantageously, by absorbing the condensation and distributing it over the entire surface of the bottom of the hearth tube 1.
Moist sand is dried during burner operation.
