Device for adjusting the spiral spring of a balance The main patent relates to a device for adjusting the spiral spring of a balance, the outer end of which is attached to a stud carried by an ear mounted rotatably on the cock and arranged with so that we can modify the active length of the hairspring. This device comprises means making it possible to move the external attachment point of the hairspring, relative to the rooster's ear, according to a coordinate system with two parallel dimensions. to the rooster plane.
These means comprise a support in which the eyebolt, to which the hairspring is fixed eccentrically, can turn on itself around its longitudinal axis and a mechanism which makes it possible to modify the position of this support relative to the rooster's ear in such a way. so that the point of attachment of the hairspring moves at least approximately radially, relative to the axis of the balance.
The device according to the present invention is characterized by the fact that said mechanism is constituted by a slide and by a slide integral with one of the rooster's ear, the other of the support and whose relative movements cause a radial displacement of the support. and the point of attachment of the hairspring relative to the axis of the balance, and by a control member making it possible to adjust and fix the relative position of the slide and of the slide.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view; fig. 2 is a sectional view along the line II-II of FIG. 1; fig. 3 is a sectional view along the line III-III of FIG. 1; fig. 4 is a view of A (fig. 1); fig. 5 is a bottom view.
The device shown comprises an ear 12, a stud holder 18 and a stud not shown intended to be fixed in the stud holder 18 by a locking screw 19. The stud will advantageously be of the type shown in FIG. 2 of the main patent.
The eyebolt 18, of cylindrical exterior shape, is itself mounted in an annular support 20 so as to be able to rotate in friction in the latter about its axis according to the arrow F1 between determined angular limits.
This support 20 has a rectangular opening in which is fitted a prismatic slide 30 capable of sliding in a rectangular slide 31 formed by an arm 32 of the lug 12. The orientation of the axis of movement of the slide 30 is such that, when the latter moves, the axis of the pin moves according to the arrow F2 on a straight line passing through the axis of the balance.
The slider 30 is held in place on the support 20 by a spring 33 bearing against the underside of this support and in grooves formed at the base of the slider. This spring 33 has two tabs 33a (FIG. 5) which frame a lug 18a of the eyebolt holder 18 and which limit the angular displacements of the latter.
The slide 31 and the slide 30 are connected by a screw 34 which passes through a transverse edge of the first and which screws into a threaded hole of the second.

By rotating this screw 34, which is axially fixed with respect to the slide 31, in one direction or the other, the slide 30 is moved axially in one direction or in the opposite direction in the slide 31 and the slide 31. we bring closer or move away the pin 18 and the point of attachment of the balance spring to the axis of the balance.
