Detachable pipe coupling, especially for gas connections There are releasable pipe couplings for Gasan connections with the supply-side coupling member be sensitive shut-off device known. In the case of luminous gas connections, stringent requirements are placed on such couplings, namely to the effect that decoupling can only take place if the gas flow has been blocked beforehand in the coupling member on the supply side. On the other hand, means must be provided that allow this barrier to be removed only after the reconnection has taken place.
In the previously known gas connections, the shut-off device is usually designed as a friction valve. Since this the cock plug is at right angles to the gas supply line, you need a relatively moderately large amount of space to accommodate the supply-side coupling member, so that u. a. it is also not possible to place this coupling member in plastered walls, especially in kitchens and living rooms. In addition, with these known gas connections it cannot be ruled out that the shut-off element in the supply-side coupling member can be opened by manipulations other than closing the coupling. If you take into account that u.
U. the shut-off device can be opened by children while playing games, so there is a need to provide means to prevent this.
The present invention relates to a releasable pipe coupling, in particular for gas connections, with the shut-off element located on the supply-side coupling member, which eliminates these shortcomings and is characterized in that the shut-off element is designed as a valve, the closing element of which is pressed against the valve seat and in the The closed position is secured against opening by a locking device,
and that the discharge-side coupling member is provided with means for releasing the valve lock when coupling and restoring the same when uncoupling.
The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
1 to 3 each show a central longitudinal section of the first embodiment before or during or after coupling.
4 and 5 each show a cross section along the line IV and V in FIG. 1 or 2.
FIG. 6 shows the closure member in plan and in the middle longitudinal section.
7 and 9 show the second embodiment, for example, in the central longitudinal section before and after the coupling.
FIGS. 8 and 10 each show a cross section along the lines VIII-VIII and X -X in FIGS. 7 and 9, respectively.
Fig. 7a shows a section along the line a-a in Fig. 7b, which shows a plan view of the discharge-side coupling member.
8a shows a view of the closure member.
Fig. 8b shows a section along the line b-b in Fig. 8a.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 6, a gas connection is provided, the supply-side coupling member 1 of which is designed as a reduction sleeve la. The gas is supplied through the smaller diameter air vent. The other sleeve part is designed as a housing provided with an internal thread, into which a guide bush 2 provided with a corresponding external thread is screwed. The socket 2 is designed as a valve body on the supply side.
This consists of the valve seat 3, on which, under the influence of a closing spring 4, a valve disk 5 rests in a non-positive manner. The opposite end part of the guide bushing 2 is designed as a connecting piece 6, on which two diametrically opposite longitudinal grooves 7 are arranged on the inside and a sealing ring 8 is arranged on the outside. In the middle part of the socket 2 there is a seat 9 perforated by the grooves 7.
Adjacent to the seat and with a larger diameter than the seat 9, two opposing annular groove segments 10 are arranged, which are each connected at one end to a guide groove 11 at right angles to them.
In the valve body between the valve seat 9 and the connection piece 6 there is a cap 12, which rests on the seat 9 when the valve is closed, the bottom of which faces the valve disk 5 and the jacket with openings and two diametrically opposed, beveled cams 13 is provided, which snap into the annular grooves 10 and thereby prevent the closure cap from being displaced in the direction of the valve disk in this position.
On the jacket of the cap 12, two diametrically opposed recesses 14 are also arranged, which can be found in the annular grooves 10 in the region of the longitudinal grooves 7 when the cams 13 are engaged.
The discharge-side coupling member 15 has a central tubular part which can be pushed into the connection piece 6 of the valve body and is guided by it. The central tubular part of the coupling member 15 is provided at the free end with two diametrically opposite driver cams 16 which protrude radially outward and can be inserted into the insertion grooves 7.
The central tube part also has an outwardly projecting ring extension with an angular cross-section, the coaxial leg 17 of which on the inside during coupling, with the sealing ring 8 clamped in between, rests against the coaxial outside of the connecting piece 6 before the coupling members 1, 15 mechanically be locked together.
When the coupling member 15 is pushed into the connecting piece 6, the entrainer cams 16 in the final aisle get completely into the one abutment each forming the recesses 14 of the closure cap 12. As a result, the coupling member 15 can now be rotated together with the closure cap 12, where the cams 16 slide on the seat 9 so that the coupling member 15 and the closure member 12 are mutually locked. After a rotation of about 45, the cams 13 move into the area of the guide groove 11.
In this position, the coupling member 15 can therefore be pushed further into the guide bushing 2 because the closure cap 12 can be displaced axially against the valve disk 5 and lifts it off the valve seat 3. The liquid or gaseous medium can now flow through the openings in the jacket of the closure cap 12 into the central tubular part of the coupling member 15. Two inserted into the inside of the guide bushing 2 and latching into the jacket of the closure cap 12,
Spring-loaded ball locks 18 on the one hand ensure that when the coupling member 15 is withdrawn, the closure cap 12 remains fixed by means of the bayonet locking 10, 11, 13 in such a way that the abutments 14 match the plug-in grooves 7 and on the other hand, when the valve is open, the cams 16 snap back of the coupling member 15 is prevented by means of the closing spring 4, so that an automatic closing of the valve is prevented. This arrangement has the advantage that when there is heavy use on train a z. B. connected to the coupling member 15 hose by overcoming the spring of the ball lock 18, the valve is closed.
To properly close the valve, the coupling member 15 must first be retracted axially until the cams 16 rest on the seat 9 again. The cams 13 themselves actively come back into the area of the annular grooves 10 because the closing spring 4 pushes the closing cap 12 back by means of the valve disk. In this position, the coupling member 15 is secured against further axial movement by the bayonet lock. If the coupling member 15 is to be removed, then it must first be turned back 45 until the cams 16 are long in the area of the longitudinal grooves 7, after which the coupling member 15 can be removed.
During this rotation, the closure cap 12 is carried along and locked relative to the guide bush 2. It therefore shields the valve closing element 5 on the discharge side against external interference.
In the flush-mounted arrangement of the housing la this can, as shown in Fig. 3, be provided on the end face having the larger diameter Ren with a removable cover ring 29, the inner diameter of which corresponds at least approximately to the largest inside diameter of the sleeve. Countersunk screws are provided for fastening.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 to 10, the supply-side coupling member is housed in a tubular housing 19, in one leg 20 of which the valve seat 3 'and the axially adjustable, plate-shaped closing member 5' are arranged. The other leg 21 serves as a guide for the axially retractable and extendable and rotatable discharge-side coupling member 15 '. A rotary slide valve 22 mounted in the transition part of the two legs 20, 21 is also rotatable about the same axis.
The discharge-side housing leg 21 has an inner flange 30, which is broken through two diametrically opposed axial grooves 7 'and the seat 9' forms on which the rotary slide 22 rests. The drivers 16 'of the coupling member 15' protrude radially outward in such a way that during the coupling process in the final course of the axial movement they pass through the grooves 7 'into an abutment 26 of the rotary slide 22.
According to FIGS. 7 and 8a, the abutments 26 consist of two diametrically opposed recesses in the edge of the rotary slide 22 resting on the seat 9 '. This is designed as a slotted sleeve, the axial slot 23 being arranged and dimensioned in such a way that that it forms the inlet opening for the medium. The sleeve is resilient in such a way that it can be compressed, without permanent deformation, to an outer diameter which is smaller than the inside width of the flange 30.
The rotary slide valve 22 can therefore be mounted through the flange 30. The rotary slide 22 is also provided in the middle part with a peripheral slot 24 through which a plunger 25, which is guided in the direction of movement of the valve disk 5 ', protrudes. In the rotational position of the slide 22 corresponding to the coupling state, the plunger 25 can be pushed through the slot 24 so that it can lift the valve disk 5 'off the seat 3' (FIGS. 9 and 10).
The rotary slide 22 can also be rotated into an end position corresponding to the uncoupling state, in which its casing part facing the valve disk 5 'completely shields the valve disk 5' (FIGS. 7 and 8) so that the plunger 25 does not hit the disk either 5 'can be pushed forward.
For coupling, the coupling member 15 'is pushed into the housing leg 21, which is provided on the inside with an annular groove in which a sealing ring sits. This encloses the coupling member 15 'tightly. In the final course of the insertion, the driver cams 16 'come into engagement with the abutments 26 of the rotary valve. If the coupling member 15 'is now rotated, the cams 16' come with their radially protruding part on the shoulder seat 9 ', whereby the coupling member 15' is locked like a bayonet lock against axial sliding back.
At the same time, the rotary slide 22 is rotated until the slot 23 reaches the valve seat and the plunger 25 can be pushed through it against the valve disk 5 ', opening the valve (FIGS. 9 and 10).
So that the closing spring 4 'does not press the tappet 25 and thereby closes the valve, the tappet 25 can be locked in the valve open position by a locking device. For this purpose, two tensioned steel strings 27 are used, which are arranged on both sides of the tappet 25 and snap into an annular groove 28 of the tappet 25 as soon as the tappet reaches the valve open position. The liquid or gaseous medium can now flow through the open valve Ven and the slot 23 of the rotary valve 22 in the coupling member 15 '.
To close the valve, a button 25a is used, which is slidably mounted on the housing 19 and is provided with a wedge piece at the free end of the shaft, which can be pushed between the steel strings 27 by pressing the button 25a. As a result, the latter are pushed apart in the area of the groove 28. They therefore disengage from the groove 28 and release the plunger 25, so that the closing spring 4 'both presses the valve disk 5' onto the valve seat 3 'and returns the plunger 25 to its starting position.
If the coupling member 15 'is to be removed, the valve must first be closed because a sufficient rotation of the sleeve 22 to release the bayonet lock can only take place when the plunger 25 has been withdrawn from the slot 23 and releases the valve disk 5'.
The valve can also be opened without locking. Use a plunger when the valve closing member 5 'and the rotary slide 22 are designed on the opposite sides so that when the rotary slide 22 is moved into the position corresponding to the coupling state, the valve closing member 5' automatically adjusts to the open position becomes. If z.
B. the valve closing member is designed as a ball which protrudes in the closed position in part into the valve seat, then this can before and during the locking of the coupling member 15 'protrude into a dome of the rotary valve casing and then rotate the coupling member 15' on run up a perforated part having the outer diameter of the rotary valve and push the ball away from the valve seat.
