Method for manufacturing a building construction element and element obtained according to this process The present patent relates to a process for manufacturing a building construction element, in particular a slab having a lower surface constituting directly a ceiling, this process being characterized by the fact that one places in the bottom of the formwork in which the slab is to be poured a mat of fibrous material resting on a coating layer,
hooking elements having been placed transversely in this carpet, so that when the freshly poured concrete crushes the carpet, the upper ends of the hooking elements protrude out of the top layer of it and come s '' anchor in the concrete to remain imprisoned there after the setting thereof.
The patent also relates to a building construction element, in particular a slab having a lower surface directly constituting a ceiling, this element being characterized by the fact that it comprises a mat of fibrous material, hanging elements. stitched transversely in this mat being trapped in the concrete, constituting the slab proper, and maintaining the mat pressed against the underside of the slab, the surface of the visible base thus having an insulating padding.
The appended drawing represents, schematically and by way of example, an embodiment of the method and of the construction element which is the subject of the patent.
Fig. 1 shows, in section, the first phase of preparation.
Fig. 2 shows, in section, the second phase during which the concrete slab is poured. Fig. 3 shows, in perspective and with a section, the element obtained.
Fig. 4 shows, in perspective, one of the hooking elements that can be used to fix the mat of fibrous material under the concrete slab.
Fig. 5 is a perspective view showing the use of a joint cover between two adjoining carpet elements.
First of all, a mat of fibrous material, for example a coconut mat 2, taken between two layers 3 and 4 of a continuous coating, is placed in the bottom of a casing 1 (see fig. 1). These layers 3 and 4 can be made up of a kind of bituminous car tone, for example. Fastening elements 5 have been previously fixed transversely in the coconut mat 2.
These fastening elements can be made up, as shown to the right of FIG. 1, by nails 6 with a large head 7, commonly called roofing nails or cap nails. These nails are stitched through the mat 2 and their tip emerging from the coating layer 4 is curved. These elements 5 can also be constituted by sheet metal clips 8 having a head 9.
The point 10 (Fig. 4) of these clips 8 is split longitudinally at 11, so that after having planted such a clip 8 in the coconut mat 2, it suffices to fold back the two wings 12 at the square and 13 forming the tip to ensure a stable hooking of the clip 8 in the belt 2.
These fastening elements 5 are distributed evenly over the entire surface of the mat 2. Once the slab reinforcement is mounted in the formwork 1 above the mat 2, the concrete 14 is poured. This freshly poured concrete 14 crushes the coconut mat 2, as shown in FIG. 2, and therefore
the upper ends of the fastening elements 5 protrude out of the upper coating layer 4 and become anchored in the concrete 14 to remain trapped there after the latter has set.
Once the formwork 9 has been removed, the coconut mat 2, which had been compressed, expands somewhat, which means that the visible surface of the ceiling then presents the appearance of a quilting 15 having very good soundproofing qualities. .
After stripping of the slab, the ceiling is therefore obtained in its finished state. At most, it suffices to tint it to the desired color.
It should be noted that the joints between the various coconut mats which will have been juxtaposed in the bottom of the formwork 1 can easily be masked after stripping using strips stuck astride the edges of the joint.
The manufacturing method and the building construction element, in particular the slab having a lower surface directly constituting a ceiling, described above make it possible to obtain a very low construction cost of a ceiling because they in particular eliminate all the usual work of plasterers. In addition, such a ceiling has a certain flexibility eliminating any risk of cracks after the building has undergone some settlement or subsidence.
Of course, the process indicated above does not apply only to the manufacture of slabs and ceilings, but could also be used for other building construction elements, possibly for walls, although in the latter case. , this application is less interesting.
Many variant embodiments of such a construction element could be imagined. Thus the coating layer 3, which is visible after stripping of the slab, could be constituted by a layer of plastic material of the poly vinyl type, which would already be tinted to the desired shade of the ceiling, which would eliminate any work subsequent to the stripping of the form. the slab.
As for the hooking elements 5, many other embodiments could be imagined, such as, for example, rivets or possibly even rivets of the press stud type.
By way of example, it has been indicated above that the mat 2 of fibrous material used was a coir mat. However, it stands to reason that others. fibrous materials, having the same advantages as coconut could be used, such as in particular fibrous materials of mineral origin, such as glass fibers, stone fibers or stone wool, or any other fibers of mineral or vegetable origin , animal, or even from synthetic products such as so-called plastics.
In addition, the top coating layer 4 could be omitted. As for the lower covering layer 3, it could consist of a layer of impregnation of the fibers or of a varnish covering the lower face of the carpet 2 to make it homogeneous and continuous. The same impregnation layer could also replace the top coating layer 4.
The mat of fibrous material 2 can be of any size. It would thus be possible to use carpet of fibrous material 2 of standardized dimensions, of square shape, for example 50 cm on a side. These square elements of fibrous material would be juxtaposed and a joint cover made of wood, metal, plastic or the like could be placed at the point of junction of the elements. These joint covers would be fitted with anchoring means intended to remain trapped in the concrete forming the slab after the latter has set and the slab has been stripped.
Fig. 5 shows precisely a special type of particularly advantageous joint cover. As can be seen, this joint cover 15 is formed by a profile of any material, for example aluminum, having raised edges 16. Nails 17 with a curved end are fixed to this joint cover, by hard welding, riveting. , stapling or other way to constitute anchoring means intended to remain prison niers of the concrete forming the slab.
Once the joint cover 15 in place in the casing 1, the mat elements 2 of fibrous material are placed contiguously on the joint cover 15. As soon as the concrete is poured on the mat elements 2, the weight of the concrete exerts pressure along the arrows 18 on the belt 2, which crushes the latter.
The raised edges 16 of the joint cover 15 have the advantage of guaranteeing the seal between the lower covering 3 of the mats 2 and the joint cover 15 because of the great pressure existing between the raised edges 16 and this lower covering 3. Thus, any flow of fresh concrete or water which could take place between the edges 19 of the carpet elements 2 is stopped by the raised edges 16. This prevents any soiling of the visible surface of the lower covering 3 by water or concrete.
As a further variant, the raised edges 16 of the joint cover 15 could be made sinuous or still be provided with roughness or teeth preventing any sliding of the covering 3 on them.
