Die Kontaktscheibe 67 (Fig. 4) kann anstatt auf der Hauptwelle 15 auch auf einer andern Welle, die sich im Takt der Webmaschine dreht, verstellbar und feststellbar angeordnet sein. Unter im Takt der Webmaschine ist hierbei zu verstehen, dass die be treffende, die Kontaktscheibe 67 tragende Welle mit einer Drehzahl gleich der Schusszahl oder mit einer Drehzahl angetrieben ist, die mit der Schusszahl ein rationales Verhältnis bildet, zum Beispiel 2:1, 3:1, 1:2, 1:3 usw.;
Loom and method for parking the same The invention relates to a weaving machine with shafts coupled to the main shaft and a warp thread monitor device for automatically switching off the machine if a warp thread breaks, and also to a parking method for such a weaving machine, in which all sheds are changed Warp threads are moved from their extreme position to the shed center.
This warp thread movement towards the shed center can take place for the purpose of transferring it to the other extreme position or to a middle, so-called half-shed position, after which the warp threads return to the previous extreme position.
The weaving machine according to the invention is characterized in that the warp thread monitor pulse that occurs when the warp thread breaks is passed through a device that triggers the shutdown and operates in dependence on the current angle of rotation of the main shaft, the release element of which is continuously adjustable to different angles of rotation of the main shaft. This enables the machine to come to a standstill in a very specific position of shafts and reeds which is advantageous for eliminating the warp thread breakage.
The braking angle that the machine covers from triggering the shutdown pulse to the actual standstill can also be taken into account.
As a rule, the assignment of the individual main shaft angular positions to the respective position of the shafts and the reed is set in a diagram belonging to the machine in a weaving machine, and an appropriate standstill position of the parts can then be read from it and the release device in the machine according to the invention - can be set accordingly.
If the weaver wants to adjust the machine without such a diagram so that it comes to a standstill in an appropriate position, he will proceed roughly as follows. When the main clutch is in the disengaged position, the main shaft and thus the shafts coupled with it and the reed are brought into a position that is advantageous for eliminating warp thread breaks by a handwheel.
In it, the main shaft may be rotated, for example, by 30 against a zero position; this can be read off, for example, on a scale rotating with the main shaft under an associated stationary mark. It is now assumed that the stationary parts (for example an associated pair of contacts) that interact with the release element (for example a rotating electrical contact attached to the main shaft) are attached above the stationary mark used for reading the current angular position of the main shaft are, and that a second, rotating with the main shaft, in relation to the first-mentioned scale is the same and having the same graduation is attached to the shaft,
which enables the setting of the release element to an angular position to be counted from the zero point of the last-mentioned scale. In the example, the release member is now also set to 30 of the last-mentioned and thus also the first-mentioned scale. Then an impulse initiated by the warp thread monitor when the warp thread breaks is passed on by the release device only at this main shaft position and the machine is switched off.
In one embodiment of the invention, the Abstellimpulsauströseeinrichtung contains a coarse adjustment permitting, rotatably and lockably mounted on the main shaft disc which carries the revolving trigger member. Advantageously, the tripping element on the disc can be finely adjusted with regard to its angular position. The speed of the machine can then easily be taken into account.
Newer weaving machines often have such a high speed that they do not stop immediately in the main shaft angular position at which the shutdown pulse becomes effective; rather, the main shaft still rotates through a certain angle (braking angle) until it is completely braked. The trigger member is now to take into account the braking angle to a ge, generally to determine by attempts presented the amount in the main shaft direction of rotation.
In the inventive weaving machine shutdown process, which is carried out on a machine in which all warp threads are moved from their extreme position to the middle of the shed when the shed is changed, the release device is set so that the reed is not in each case when the machine is at a standstill the stop position and none of the shafts is in one of the two extreme positions.
The eyes of the warp thread strands suspended in the shafts are then particularly easily accessible and the broken warp thread can easily be threaded again. In the extreme positions (the two outer reversal positions of the shafts), on the other hand, the upper shaft bars of the shafts standing in the deep shed (in the lower inverted position) are just about the same height as the eyes of the strands of the adjacent shafts standing in the upper shed (the upper inversion position).
In the intermediate positions mentioned, moreover, the warp threads are not under full tension and the warp threads are not particularly tightly tensioned during the repair of the damage, as occurs in previous weaving machine shutdown processes, where some shafts remain in an extreme position when shut down.
In the drawing, an example of the loom according to the invention is shown schematically. There are shown: FIG. 1 the loom seen from the fabric side, FIG. 2 the shaft drive, FIG. 3 an associated section along line III-III in FIG. 2, FIG. 4 the warp thread monitor and shutdown release device, FIG Movement scheme for the drawer and the shaft drive, Fig. 6, 7, 8 different associated compartment positions,
9 shows a second movement diagram of the drawer and shafts, FIG. 10 shows a compartment position associated therewith, and FIGS. 11 and 12 drive parts for the shafts on a larger scale.
The motor 11 (Fig. 1), which is attached to the right-hand side shield 12, drives the pulley 14 by means of the Keilrie men 13 and the main shaft 15 of the loom via a coupling housed in it, not visible. From here, the parts of the loom that are to be operated during normal weaving operations are moved continuously or intermittently. For example, from the shaft 15, the warp beam 16 and thus the chain 17 are switched, which is pulled through the healds, which are distributed over several shafts 18 and suspended from the shafts.
Also, the shafts 18 for opening, closing and changing the shed are moved up and down from the shaft 15 and furthermore the switching tree 19 and the goods tree 20 for winding the fabric 21 are driven. Likewise, the firing and catching devices housed in the firing mechanism 22 and the safety gear 23 are actuated via an intermediate gear from the shaft 15 in a corresponding manner at the given time. Finally, the drawer 28 with the reed 29 is also moved back and forth from the shaft 15 to the stop.
In the weft mechanism 22, the weft thread 24 is transferred to the archer 25 provided. The thread 24 is withdrawn from the weft thread bobbin 27 located outside the shuttle 25 and carried by the bobbin carrier 26 and shot through the shed to the catching device in the box 23 by means of the shuttle 25. The weft thread 24 is then beaten up by the drawer 28 and other work processes known per se.
The shooter 25 freed from the weft thread 24 after the shot is conveyed on in a manner not shown by devices in the catching gear 23 to the shooter return transport device 30. The device 30 driven by the main shaft 15 returns the empty shuttle 25 from the trapping system 23 to the weft system 22 below the shed.
On the left side plate 12a, which is firmly connected to the right plate 12 through the box-shaped longitudinal support 31 to form a rigid frame of the loom, the drive and switching mechanism 32 for the switching boom 19 are attached.
By means of the shift lever 33 and the shift rod 34 can be actuated on the one hand, the clutch via the linkage 35 and on the other hand, the brake via the linkage 36 when starting and stopping the machine from different points. The brake housed in the housing 37 acts on the main shaft 15 and, in the event of a malfunction, is applied to the main shaft 15 and all moving parts immediately after the clutch in the pulley 14 has been released.
The brake in the housing 37 can also be released by means of the two shift levers 33 without closing the clutch in the belt pulley 14. Then the uncoupled main shaft 15 by means of the handwheel 3 8 in certain angular positions, for example to control the setting of weaving machine parts in relation to a main shaft zero position defined in more detail below or to select and set a standstill position of the main shaft that is advantageous for repairing warp thread damage, Shafts and reeds, as described in more detail below, are brought.
The drive for the shafts 18a to 18d (FIG. 2), designated as a whole as 40, contains two shafts 41 and 42 which are geared to the main shaft 15 via a reduction gear 43. Their speed is a quarter of the speed of the main shaft 15. Cam sets 45a to 45d and 46a to 46d are wedged onto shafts 41 and 42, which are wedged via roller levers <I> 47a </I> to <I> 47d </I> and drive the shafts 18a to 18d via angle levers 48a to 48d. A scale 50 with an angular graduation from 0 to 360, denoted by 51, is attached to the main shaft 15.
By means of a stationary pointer (a mark) 52 on the housing 40, the associated angular position of the main shaft 15 can be read for the current position of the shafts; the shaft position shown in Fig. 2 corresponds to a current main shaft angular position of 30. In F! -. 3, the upper end position (high compartment, upper extreme or reversal position) present when the compartment is fully open is denoted by 53 and the lower end position (low compartment, lower extreme or reversed position) is denoted by 54.
The warp thread monitor device for shutting down the loom in the event of a fault in the chain has a brake disk 55 (Fig. 4) attached to the main shaft 15. The lever 57, which is rotatable about the pin 58 and at the upper end of which the tension spring 59 engages, serves to actuate the brake band 56 and is connected by means of the handlebar 61 to the lever 62, which is rotatable about the fixed Zap 63 and the Has incision 64 in which the locking lever 65 engages on the guard shaft 66, which is mounted in the frame of the loom.
The associated triggering device comprises the contact disc 67, which is arranged on the main shaft 15, shown again on the left in FIG. 4 for the sake of clarity, which carries a movable and lockable contact piece 68 which, with the stationary, corresponding to the mark 52, is a reading point (mark) for the angular position of the main shaft 15 forming sliding contacts 69 cooperates. The disk 67 can be rotated on the hub 70 wedged with the shaft 15 and can be pressed against the flange 72 of the hub 70 by means of the screw 71 so that it is adjustable. The flange 72 has a scale 73.
The disk 67 bears a mark 74 so that the disk 67 can be set to a certain angular position relative to the scale 73 and thus the shaft 15 (in the example shown, to 30). The contact piece 68 is displaceable in the slot 87 of the disc 67 and can be locked (adjustable) by means of a screw 88 and a lock nut located on the rear side, the pointer 89 attached below the contact piece 68 indicating the setting angle with respect to the mark 74 on the scale 90 indicates the angle by which the contact piece 68 is advanced from the mark 74 forming the zero position of the scale 90 on disk 67 in the main shaft direction of rotation.
The warp 17 runs over the rods 75 stored in the frame and through the warp thread monitor 76 located between the same on the line-up bar 77, which is also part of the warp thread monitor device. In the circuit 78 of the battery 79, besides the sliding contacts 69 and the rail 77, the shut-off magnet 80 is switched on, from which the motor 11, the main clutch located in the pulley 14 and the further parts of the triggering device described below are actuated.
When the shut-off magnet 80 is de-energized, the armature 81 is held by the compression spring 82 in the upper position shown in FIG. It is provided with a hook 83 which cooperates with the arm 84 of the locking lever 65 on the guard shaft 66. A compression spring 85 strives to push the arm 84 upwards.
When a warp thread breaks, the associated warp thread monitor 76 falls onto the line-up rail 77, so that an electrical connection is established at this point in the circuit 78. Because the shutdown pulse should not be triggered solely as a function of the disturbance, but at the same time as a function of a certain angular position of the main shaft 15, the second open point of the circuit 78, namely that of the sliding contacts 69, must also be closed for shutdown .
Only then is the armature 81 tightened against the action of the spring 82, the hook 83 moves down and rotates the locking lever 65 counterclockwise. As a result, the locking lever 65 is pulled out of the incision 64 and the lever 62 is released. The lever 62 is rotated under the action of the tension spring 59. At the same time, the brake lever 57 is pulled to the right by the spring 59 and the brake band 56 is tightened around the brake disc. As a result, the Brem solution of the main shaft 15 is initiated, and after a certain braking angle, the loom comes to a standstill.
In the movement diagram in Fig. 5 explaining the standstill conditions of shafts and reed, the main shaft angular position or time is horizontal, on the one hand the forward path of the drawer in the direction of the stop (curve A) and on the other hand the stroke of the shafts (curves B, < I> C, D) </I> worn on. At point f the drawer moves forward towards the fabric, at point g the inserted weft thread is hit and at point h the drawer has returned to its rest position. Curve B shows the movement of shaft 18a, curve C that of shaft 18b, and curve D that of shafts 18e and 18d from FIG. 3.
The shafts 18a and 18b start moving at point i, while the shafts 18c and 18d start moving at point k. The last-mentioned stocks remain in the previously held upper shed for the next shot, only temporarily they take a position below the upper shed end position (upper extreme or reverse position).
The angular position VI of the main shaft 15 (FIG. 5) corresponds to the end positions of the shafts 18a to 18d shown in FIG. 6 in the high and low compartment. The chain 17 and the fabric 21 extend between tween the warp beam 16 and the fabric beam 20. The other guide devices are omitted for the sake of simplicity. The drawer 28 with the reed 29 is still in its rear rest position.
Between the angular position m of the main shaft 15 and the angular position n there is a hatched area in the drawing in which the loom is to be brought to a standstill in the event of a malfunction in the chain. In this area, namely, the reed 29 is in its rearward rest position or on the forward path in the direction of the stop to be made at g, but still at a certain time and location distance from it, while the shafts themselves more or less from their extreme positions towards the center are moved. The warp threads are therefore under low tension here, the heddle eyes are accessible and the damage can be repaired particularly easily.
The position of the shafts in the main shaft angular position VII (Fig. 5) corresponds to Fig. 7. The warp threads in the shafts 18a and 18b have already crossed, at point o in Fig. 5, and at the moment of the desired standstill (position VII ) are the shafts within the end positions 53 and 54 to facilitate the drawing in of new warp threads instead of broken ones.
The accessibility to the heald eyes for threading is much better in the intermediate positions than in the end positions. In the end positions the heald eyes of the shafts standing in the upper shed are often covered or blocked by the upper shaft bars of the shafts standing in the lower shed.
The angular range <I> m </I> to <I> n </I> is in front of the angular position taken by the main shaft 15 at the time of the reed stop g, namely the stand p from the end n of the range to the angle The position at g has been chosen so large that after the malfunction has been remedied, there is enough time from restarting the weaving machine to accelerate the machine to full speed until the first stop of the inserted weft thread so that the first weft thread is struck again with normal strength and thus no defect occurs in the tissue 21.
After the stop position at g, there is a second hatched area between the angular positions q and r, in which the loom can also be brought to a complete standstill and its parts are in such a way that the damage can be easily removed, namely the shafts in one Intermediate position, the reed at a certain distance from the stop, compare curves <I> A </I> to <I> D </I> in the area <I> q, r. </I> The main shaft angular position VIII corresponds to the shaft and Reed position according to FIG. 8; the shafts 18a to 18d are in a similar position as in FIG. 7.
The drawer 28 and the reed 29, however, move to the left to their rest position. The first angular position q of this area has the angular distance s from the angular position during the reed stop g. The reed 29 is already on its way back when the machine is started again after the damage has been repaired. There can therefore be no tissue defect caused by insufficient reed stop. In order to avoid such a weave defect, the reed 29 only needs to be straight from the last inserted weft thread. having solved. The distance s is therefore wesent Lich smaller than the distance p.
The angular positions VII and VIII, in which the loom is at a standstill, do not agree with the angular positions in which the impulse to turn off is triggered by the guard device, because usually after closing the warp guard contact at 77 from the shaft 15 a more or less large angle has to be covered until the contacts 69 are also closed by the contact piece 68.
Only then does the shutdown impulse actually come about; However, the above-mentioned braking angle is covered on the shaft 15 to the actual standstill, which is taken into account by moving the contact piece 68 with means of fine adjustment (scale 90). The amount of advance of the contact piece 68 on the fine adjustment scale 90 (which has its zero point at 74) is generally obtained from experience and the experiment.
The standstill of the machine in a certain position of the main shaft 15, the shafts 18a to 18d and the reed 29 is achieved as follows. In general, there is already a fixed assignment between the Winkelstellun conditions of the main shaft 15 and the positions of shafts and reed using diagrams. An advantageous position of the shaft 15 is now read from such a diagram and the mark 74 is set by turning the disk 67 to this position, for example 30, and the clamping screw 71 is then tightened.
If the assignment diagram mentioned is not used, the main shaft 15 is rotated with the main clutch and the motor 11 switched off by means of the handwheel 38 into the position in which the shafts and the reed have a suitable position for correcting a warp thread damage, namely positions in the mentioned areas chen m / n or q / r in Fig. 5. Then the mark 74 is brought in a corresponding manner by turning the contact disk 67 to the aforementioned position and the screw 71 is tightened.
In order to take the braking angle into account and to ensure that the machine actually comes to a standstill in the desired position, the warp thread monitor pulse must be triggered via contacts 69 beforehand by as many degrees as that of the operating speed and effectiveness the brake 55, 56 is dependent braking angle. The contact piece 68 is therefore to be set in advance by a few degrees determined on the basis of tests, namely in FIG. 4 from the mark 74 onwards on the scale 90 to the left.
For looms that run very slowly, a braking angle of 0 can be used if necessary; In this case, the contact piece 68 is to be set immediately above the mark 74 of the disc 67. In modern, high-speed weaving machines, the braking angle is often around 20 to 30. The contact piece 68 must therefore be advanced by such an angle in these machines; will.
If one wants the main shaft 15 to stand still in the area qlr in high-speed looms, the shut-off pulse initiated by a warp thread break must generally be given before the reed stop at g; the contact piece 68 must therefore be displaced to the left from the zero mark on the scale 90 by such a large angle that it meets the sliding contacts 69 in front of the reed stop.
This results in the advantage that the braking angle is smaller because the main shaft 15 has to give up the energy required for the reed stop while it is running out of its rotational energy. The reed acts as an additional brake so that the loom comes to a standstill more quickly.
In contrast to FIG. 5, the shafts are set in motion at the same time according to the movement scheme in FIG. The two shafts 18a and 18d should have the same shed position for the next shot, which was held in the previous shot, and therefore move according to lines B and E from the end positions (extreme positions) 54, 53 to a half-shed position. In it are the shafts 18a,
18d as well as the warp threads passed through it roughly between the previously held extreme and middle shed position. In contrast, the two shafts 18b and 18c change the subject according to curves C and D.
FIG. 10 shows the shaft position when the loom is at a standstill in an angular position X lying in the hatched area m / n according to FIG. 9, in which the warp threads changing shed and guided by the shafts 18b, 18c cross. However, other standstill movements of the main shaft 15 can also be set by means of the release device 67 to 69, provided they are only between the boundary lines <I> m </I> and <I> n </I> of the hatched area in FIG.
For the reasons already mentioned, the end of this area, namely the line n, is in turn by an amount p in front of the angular position of the shaft 15 assumed at the reed stop g.
To explain the shaft movement, the movement of shaft 18a and that of its drive cams 45a, 46a will be described in the following with reference to the curve ss \ in FIG. In Fig. 11 the drive cam 45a is shown, which rotates in the direction of the arrow during operation, with a full rotation of the main shaft 15 by 90.
The associated roller lever 47a is given a different distance from the center of the shaft 41, depending on whether its role is running over a heightening or lowering of the cam 45a. For the following description, the equivalent process of the rotation of the roller of the lever 47a around the stationary cam 45a is assumed.
In the lower point i according to FIG. 5, the shaft 18a is in the lower extreme position (deep shed position). The role of the lever 47a runs straight over the highest elevation of the cam 45a at <I> T </I> (= deep compartment). During the first 90 -turn of the shaft 41, to be counted from <I> T </I>, the roller of the lever 47a reaches the intersection of the cam circumference with the radius I shown in FIG. 11, in which it the - the clarity because of under 45 in the first quadrant - distance Z1 from the center of the shaft 41 has.
This is smaller than it corresponds to the shaft center position already passed through at o in FIG. In this position of the roller lever 47a, the shaft 18a is already as far up as it corresponds to the main shaft angular position VII in FIG.
The circumferential area on the cam 45a, which corresponds to the hatched area m / n in Fig. 5, it extends approximately from the uppermost cam circumference point in Fig.ll to about the left of the point of intersection of the cam circumference with the radius I. At the end of the first quarter turn of Cam 45a be the role of lever 47a at the intersection of the cam circumference with the 45 line of the second quadrant, namely the bisector of the angle formed by the radii I, IV.
Here it has the smallest distance H from the center of the shaft 41, which corresponds to the uppermost extreme position of the shaft 18a in FIG. 5 (curve B, right). The shaft is in the high shed position (H in Fig. 11 = high shed).
In the following quarter turn the roller of the lever 47a runs over the elevation at radius IV, where it is the distance Z1 from the shaft center, then (at the end of the second quarter turn) it is at the intersection of the cam circumference with the 45 'line of the third quadrant ( bisecting the angle formed by the radii IV, III). Here, the role of the lever 47a again stood from H, shaft 18a is back in the upper shed position. During the second quarter turn, shaft 18a has executed a movement according to line D in FIG. 5, which is related to shafts 18c, 18d there.
In the third quarter turn of the cam 45a, the role of the lever 47 runs over the elevation at III, where it again has the distance Z1. Then, at the end of the third quarter turn, it arrives at the intersection of the cam circumference with the bisector of the fourth quadrant (the bisector of the angle formed from the radii 11I, 11 </B>). Here she in turn stood from H, shaft 18a is in the upper shed position.
In the last (fourth) quarter turn, the roller of the lever 47a runs through the intersection of the cam circumference with the radius II, in which it has the distance Z2. He is already bigger than
EMI0006.0006
the shaft 18a is on the way to the deep shed position, which it reaches at the end of the fourth quarter turn, namely at T. Now he's back in. below point i of Fig. 5 and has finished a full work game.
If the role of the lever 47a at the intersection points of the cam circumference with the radii I, IV, III has the distance Z1, shaft lga is each time in the so-called half-shed position. This happens three times between two successive subscripts. Cam 45a is drawn for a binding 1: 3, with cam 45a making a quarter turn after each shot.
In FIG. 12, the corresponding processes for the cam 46a are shown, in which the shaft 18a is in the upper shed position at the greatest distance from the roller of the lever 47a, and at the smallest in the lower shed position.
11, 12 also run the drive movements of the shafts 18b to 18d, the cams 45b to 45d, 46b to 46d of which are also attached to the shafts 41 and 42, but are arranged offset with respect to the cams 45a, 46a.
The contact disk 67 (FIG. 4) can instead of the main shaft 15 also be arranged adjustable and lockable on another shaft which rotates with the cycle of the loom. In the cycle of the loom is to be understood here that the relevant shaft carrying the contact disc 67 is driven at a speed equal to the number of picks or at a speed that forms a rational ratio with the number of picks, for example 2: 1, 3: 1, 1: 2, 1: 3, etc .;
the contact piece 68 or a corresponding part must in any case trigger the warp thread monitor shutdown pulse in one and the same position of the main shaft 15, ie the contacts 69 close in the present example.
