B. stets die im oberen Fach befindlichen Kett- fäden unter geringere Zugspannung gebracht werden, als die im unteren Fach befindlichen, so dass jeder Schussfaden nach seinem Anschlag noch mehrmals wechselweise in eine Stellung etwas oberhalb und in eine andere Stellung etwas unterhalb der durch die Winkelhalbierende des Webfaches gehenden Mittel ebene (Symmetrie-Ebene) rückt;
Es tritt also z.
Weaving machine and associated operating method The invention relates to a weaving machine with a spanning beam for the warp and a supporting beam carrying the spanning beam and with a device for periodically stretching and releasing warp threads. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for operating such a loom. The stretching / releasing device is preferably used for fulling the fabric, but can also be used to compensate for the different warp thread length for open and cross shed when making fabrics with leno weaves.
Fulling is understood to mean the well-known weaving process, which is used for fabrics with a large number of crossing points of warp. and weft threads, preferably used for the 1: 1 bond and in which z.
B. the warp threads in the upper compartment are always brought under less tension than those in the lower compartment, so that each weft thread several times alternately in a position slightly above and in another position slightly below the bisector the shed going middle plane (symmetry plane) moves;
As a result of this flexing movement of the foremost (last entered) weft threads of the fabric, each weft thread is supposed to be looped around by the warp threads at a large angle, creating a tight fabric and an even distribution of weft and warp threads in the thread lattice.
In known weaving machines, in which the periodic stretching and slackening of warp threads is used for the purpose of fulling the fabric, the spanning beam is arranged slightly above or below the middle plane of the shed mentioned, so that the warp threads located in the upper shed are constantly due to their shorter The way between the spanning tree and the reed attachment point are under less tension than the warp threads located in the lower compartment.
In a second known type of weaving machine with a warp thread stretching / slackening device, this consists of two bars running parallel to the spanning beam and arranged next to one another between the spanning beam and shafts; part of the warp threads is guided past above the first and below the second rod, the remaining part of the warp threads, conversely, below the first and above the second rod; the two rods are vibrated during the weaving operation in the rhythm of the reed stop in such a way that the first rod in a position z.
B. below their middle normal position, the second rod, however, moves into a position above .ihrer normal position, whereupon both rods are moved back into the normal position and then the first rod in a position above, the second in a position below the normal position is moved and so on.
In contrast, the invention lies in the fact that the stretching and slackening device has at least one rod-shaped element which is arranged parallel to the support beam axis and can be pivoted around it, over which part of the warp threads is guided and which during operation - while maintaining its parallel position - is set in a pivoting movement back and forth from an ineffective central position in a rhythm to the reed stops.
In contrast to the known design mentioned above in the first place with an orderly spanning tree outside the central plane, in a machine according to the invention, the warp threads do not constantly under unequal tension, but only when the stretching / slackening device is brought into action. It is thus possible to let the stretching / releasing device only act momentarily. Accordingly, in the method according to the invention for operating the loom, the stretching and slackening device is only brought into the operative position when the reed is hit.
The warp threads are so each only briefly in the z. B. required for fulling, offset unequal tension.
Compared to the known weaving machine mentioned in the second place above, with two rods set in oscillation, the design according to the invention is space-saving if the support tree, which is often present anyway, is also designed as a carrier for the warp thread stretching / releasing device, so that special components between the support beam and Shafts fall away.
Swinging back and forth in a rhythm to the reed stops. offset should be understood that between the number of reed stops and the number of individual action positions, possibly also the entire work cycle (full back and forth) of the stretching / releasing device, there is a so-called rational relationship consisting of whole, usually simple numbers, z. B. 1: 1, 2: 1, 3: 1, possibly also 3: 2, 4: 1 _ or the like. So it occurs z.
B. with the first reed stop the one active position of the stretching / releasing device, with the following reed stop the second active position, with the third reed stop again the first active position and so on or about the first reed stop the one active position, with the next reed stop the ineffective middle position when third reed stop the other position of action of the stretching / releasing device and so on.
A rhythm started in such a way should be maintained during the entire operation by suitable forced running in the drive of the reed and stretching / releasing device.
In one embodiment of the invention, the rod-shaped element is attached to a rotatable on the support tree and coaxially mounted to it tube, which is set in pivoting movement with respect to its axis during operation. The pivoting movement of the rod-shaped element is advantageously passed from the shaft drive of the machine.
If the weft thread breaks and the shafts are turned back by hand, the drive of the stretching / slackening device inevitably remains in the desired cycle with the shedding drive, so that it is not necessary to restart the stretching / slackening device when operation is resumed after the yarn break has been remedied adjust.
The drawing shows exemplary embodiments in cal matic reproduction.
Fig. 1 illustrates a part of a loom designed according to the invention in a perspective view, Fig. 2 is an associated section and Fig. 3 is a corresponding section of a modified embodiment.
The machine contains a support beam, which consists of a stationary and rotatable, fixed to the machine frame tube 1 and a rotatable axis mounted therein. 2 exists. On the axis 2 two clamping levers are attached, one of which is shown schematically in Fig. 2, indicated by dashed lines and marked with 3 be. The two tensioning levers carry a tensioning tree 5 that is constantly pulled upward under the action of a spring 4 in FIG. 2.
Furthermore, a tube 6 is rotatably mounted on the support beam tube 1, in which two attachments are attached, of which only one is visible in FIGS. 1 and 2 and is denoted by 7. The approaches 7 carry a parallel to the support beam axis 2, z. B. used for walking rod B. Around the fulling tube 6 a bracket 9 and a bracket 10 screwed to it is stretched.
The bracket 9 has a lever 11 on which a reciprocating drive rod 12 engages, which via an angle lever 13, a vertical rod 14, a further angle lever 15 and via one or more non-illustrated connecting links 16 indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG Back and forth movement is added. The links 16 are driven via a reciprocating drive rod 17, a link 18, a two-armed rocker arm 19 and a rod 21. The rod 21 is in a manner not shown with the shaft drive machine, for. B. an eccentric machine, in gear connection.
From the rod 17, a shaft can be set in upward and downward movement via two angle levers 22, 23 and two associated riser plates 24, 25, which are articulated thereon and are indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 1.
In the design described here, however, it is assumed that the flexing device 6, 8 is brought into one operative position via a correspondingly designed cam disk of the shaft drive machine only in the brief moment of the reed stop and the other operative position during the following reed stop (see below) . If, on the other hand, a shaft itself were driven by the levers 22, 23, the flexing device 6, 8 must take part in a movement corresponding to the shaft movement and lasting longer than the mere reed stop.
From the shaft drive machine connected at 21, two shafts or two shaft groups are driven in a known manner, one shaft or one shaft group in the upper compartment, the other shaft or the other shaft group in the lower compartment and then back again will. Each shaft group can contain, for example, four or five shafts running parallel to one another.
The chain 27 unwound from the warp beam 26 (FIG. 2) is first guided over the spanning beam 5. A part 28 of the chain is then passed directly through lamellae 29 of a warp thread monitor device to the shafts (not shown) and then through the reed to the reed stop point, whereupon the fabric produced there reaches the tree in the usual way via other parts (is wound onto it). The remaining part 31 of the warp threads is guided over the fulling bar 8 and the tube 6 and thereon in the same way as part 28.
During operation, the rod 8 is alternately drawn from the drawn in Fig. 2 middle normal position, in which the threads 31 have the same tension as the threads 28, down into the dashed position 8a (1st effect position) and up in the dash-dotted line again given position 8b (2nd active position), in rhythm with the reed stop and possibly the adjustment of the shaft hinged to the levers 22, 23 in the high or low shed position. The positions 8a and 8b are drawn too far away from the normal position in FIG. 2 for the sake of clarity.
If the portion 31 of the warp threads is, for example, just in the upper shed, the part 28 in the lower shed and the reed moves in the direction of the stop, the fulling tube 6 and the fulling bar 8 are only moved during the reed stop in FIG. B. is momentarily pivoted counterclockwise about axis 2, so that rod 8 temporarily moves into position 8b and warp threads 31 are released, that is to say have less tensile stress than warp threads 28.
Then rod 8 is moved back to the normal position. The shed is then changed through the shafts, the warp threads 31 go into the lower shed, the warp threads 28 into the upper shed. At the next reed stop, the parts 6, 8 in FIG. 2 are momentarily swiveled clockwise about the axis 2 and move into the position 8a, so that the warp threads 31 are now stretched and are subjected to greater tensile stress than the warp threads 28.
After another change of subject, the warp threads 31 are again in the upper shed, the warp threads 28 in the lower shed and the work cycle starts again with the repeated reed attack, as already described.
Since the tension caused by the spring 4 and transmitted to the chain 27 by the tensioning beam 5 is taken up jointly by the two warp thread portions 28, 31, the overall tension of the chain remains constant. If the rod 8 takes z. B. the position 8a, the warp threads 31 have larger, the warp threads 28 so much lower tension that the sum of the two tensions is equal to the constant load Be. Conversely, in position 8b of the rod 8, the warp threads 31 have less tension, whereas the warp threads 28 have so much greater tension that the sum of the two tensions again reaches the constant amount.
In the modified embodiment of FIG. 3, in which the shafts 32, the reed (leaf) 33 and the fabric stop 37 are indicated, two more approaches 34 are attached to the Wahlkrohr 6, which a second, parallel to the axis 2 is arranged to carry them pivotable fulling bar 35. One part 28 of the warp threads is guided over the rod 35, the other part 31, as in the construction according to FIG.
In FIG. 3, the reed 33 is currently in a pivoting movement counterclockwise, that is to say on the way to the stop. Shortly before the stop, the fulling tube 6 is pivoted to the right in FIG. 3, so that the fulling bar 8 when it hits the lower position 8a, the fulling bar 35 in the upper position 35a, in which the z. B. just in the upper shed warp threads 28 lower, the warp threads in the lower shed 31 have higher tension than normal.
After the reed 33 has hit it, it is pivoted clockwise in FIG. 3 and the parts 6, 8, 35 return to the central position shown in solid lines, in which the warp threads in the upper and lower areas again have the same tension. As a result of the subsequent change of subject, the threads <B> 28 </B> get into the lower shed, the threads 31 into the upper shed.
At the next sheet stop, the tube 6 is temporarily pivoted counterclockwise, ie to the left in FIG. 3, so that rod 8 is moved into the upper position 8b and rod 35 into the lower position 35b. In contrast to _Fig: -3. The threads 28 located in the lower shed are higher, the threads 31 located in the upper shed are less tensile than normal. With each leaf stop so have z. B. the warp threads in the lower shed higher tension, which creates the well-known flexing process in the fabric.
Although it is basically irrelevant whether the warp threads in the upper shed or in each case the warp threads in the lower shed are currently placed under lower tension, it is advisable to put the warp threads of the upper shed under reduced tension, because then at the reed stop point 36 with respect to the whole Chain creates a tensile force component downwards, so that the fabric and chain at this point always hold themselves on the fabric stop 37 attached there and cannot be lifted by him.
Because the drive of the flexing device 6, 8, 35 is derived from the shedding mechanism (the shaft drive), the flexing device is always in the desired cycle with the shafts, even if they have to be turned back by hand if the weft thread breaks. If, as is also possible, the fulling device 6, 8, 35 is driven by the drive of the reed 33, this advantage is lost because when the machine is switched back by hand, the reed is usually not switched back, but only the shafts.
The described embodiments can also be used in the same way in the manufacture of fabrics with leno weaves, the aim being to compensate for the different lengths of the warp threads in open and cross shed, i.e. to increase or increase the effective length of one warp thread as required to be reduced, with essentially constant warp thread tension.
