Abstract

918,817. Tensioning warps in looms. SULZER FRERES S.A. May 11, 1961 [May 11, 1960], No. 17289/61. Class 142 (2). A warp easing motion for weaving fabrics having a large number of warp and weft intersections or for weaving gauze consists of a bar 8 attached to a tube 6 which is oscillated by a connection from one of the heald frames or by a separate cam. Some of the warp threads pass under the bar whilst the remainder go straight from a movable back rest 5 to the healds; or the remainder go under a similar bar on the forward side of the tube 6.
