Anschluss-und Dichtungseinrichtung zwischen der Schüssel eines keramischen Sanitärapp ätes und seinem Ablauf Bisher wurden zum grössten Teil Wasserklosetts mit freiliegendem Abgang montiert, weil der freilie gende Abgang der Klosettschüssel mit der aus dem Boden herausragenden Ablaufleitung am besten ver bunden und abgedichtet werden konnte. Die An schlussmuffe wurde jedoch vom ästhetischen Gesichts punkt aus immer beanstandet; die Hausfrau bean standete zudem das Entstehen von Schmutzflecken, die das Reinigen erschwerten.
Klosetts mit verdeckten Abgängen in der bisherigen Ausführung wurden nicht gerne montiert, weil sie selten richtig abgedichtet wer den konnten; ferner befürchtete man bei Verstopfun gen, Wasserschäden und dass an diesen Stellen Ka nalgase entströmen, die zu Geruchsbelästigungen An lass geben könnten.
Die vorliegende Erfindung ermöglicht nun, die genannten Nachteile zu vermeiden. Sie betrifft eine Anschluss- und Dichtungseinrichtung zwischen der Schüssel eines keramischen Sanitärapparates und sei nem Ablauf, z. B. eine Wasserklosettschüssel oder die Schüssel eines Bidets, mit einer in eine wenig stens annähernd bündig mit dem Boden angeordnete Muffe des Ablaufrohres dicht eingesetzten Man schette, auf welche die Schüssel mittels ihres verdeckt angebrachten Ablaufstutzens lose aufgesetzt ist, wo bei am freien Rand der Manschette eine Auflagefläche gebildet ist, auf welche ein Dichtungsring aufgesetzt ist, und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass der Rand des Ablaufstutzens gegenüber der Auflagefläche der Schüssel zurückversetzt ist und an der Wurzel des Ablaufstutzens gegenüber der an der Manschette vor handenen Auflage eine weitere Anliegefläche für den Dichtungsring gebildet ist, so dass beim Anziehen der Befestigungsschrauben für die Schüssel der Dich tungsring zusätzlich zum Anpressdruck durch das Ge wicht der Schüssel gegen die Anliege- und die Auf- lagefläche gepresst wird, das Ganze zum Zwecke, ein Austreten von Kanalgasen in den Raum mit Sicher heit zu verhindern und ein leichtes Demontieren der Schüssel zu ermöglichen.
Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes, und zwar an einem Wasser klosett. Es zeigt: Fig. 1 einen Schnitt durch das Klosett längs der vertikalen Symmetrieebene 1-I, Fig.2 einen Grundriss, und Fig. 3 einen Schnitt längs der Linie A-A in Fig. 1. Die gezeichnete Wasserklosettschüssel besitzt einen Spülwasseranschlussstutzen 2, der mit dem Spülring 3 kommuniziert.
Der letztere ist beidseitig der vertikalen Symmetrieebene 1-I in Fig.2 auf einen Teil seiner Länge, und zwar beidseitig des An schlusses an den Stutzen 3 bis zur Stelle P als ge schlossener Kanal 4 ausgebildet. Der Geruchver- schluss 5 geht in den verdeckt in der Schüsselwand 6 angeordneten Ablaufstutzen 7 über, dessen Rand in bezug auf die Auflagefläche der Schüssel 1 um die Höhe H zurückversetzt ist. In die annähernd bündig mit dem Boden B verlaufende Muffe 8 des Ablauf rohres 9 ist eine aus Kunststoff bestehende Manschette 10 dicht eingesetzt.
Diese Manschette 10 besitzt nicht gezeichnete Querrillen und kann sowohl mit Stemm- strick und Kitt als auch mit Asbestschnüren abge dichtet werden. An der Wurzel des Ablaufstutzens 7 ist eine Anliegefläche 11 und ihr gegenüber, am freien Rand der Manschette 10, eine Auflagefläche 12 gebildet, zwischen welche Flächen der Dichtungsring 13 eingesetzt ist.
Dieser Dichtungsring besteht zweck mässig aus einem weichen Kunststoff, so dass er sich allen Unebenheiten anpasst, dicht abschliesst, prak- tisch kein Wasser aufnimmt und eine ;lange Lebens dauer hat.
Die Montage der Schüssel mit der Dichtungsein richtung ist einfach. Vorerst wird die Manschette 10 auf die richtige Länge abgeschnitten und auf eine der genannten Arten in die Rohrmuffe 8 abdichtend ein gesetzt. Hierauf kann die Klosettschüssel 1 mit dem Dichtungsring 13 am Ablaufstutzen 7 lose auf die Manschette 10 aufgesetzt werden,
wobei der Stutzen 7 bis zum Anliegen des Dichtungsringes 13 an der Auflagefläche 12 in die Manschette 10 eindringt. Der Dichtungsring 13 wird dabei schon durch das Ge wicht der Schüssel 1 allein deformiert und nach dem hierauf erfolgenden Anziehen der Befestigungsschrau ben 14 zusätzlich gegen die Flächen 11, 12 gepresst. Die beschriebene Anschluss- und Dichtungseinrich tung ermöglicht ein leichtes Montieren und Demon tieren der Klosettschüssel zum Anschliessen an das bzw. Wegnehmen vom Ablaufrohr 9, ohne dabei Löt lampen, Schiffskitt und Harzverbände verwenden zu müssen.
Auch wird eine äusserst gute Dichtung er reicht, so dass ein Austreten von Kanalgasen in den Raum verhindert wird.
Diese Anschluss- und Dichtungseinrichtung lässt sich anwenden bei Tiefspül-, Flachspül-, Zungen- und Absaugklosetts, ferner bei Wandurinalklosetts und auch bei Bidets.

The water closet bowl shown has a flushing water connection piece 2, which is connected with the flushing ring 3 communicates.
The latter is on both sides of the vertical plane of symmetry 1-I in Figure 2 over part of its length, on both sides of the connection to the connector 3 up to the point P as a closed channel 4 formed. The odor trap 5 merges into the drain connector 7, which is concealed in the bowl wall 6 and whose edge is set back by the height H with respect to the support surface of the bowl 1. In the approximately flush with the bottom B sleeve 8 of the drain pipe 9 a plastic sleeve 10 is inserted tightly.
This sleeve 10 has transverse grooves (not shown) and can be sealed with caulking rope and putty as well as with asbestos cords. A contact surface 11 is formed at the root of the outlet connection 7 and opposite it, on the free edge of the collar 10, a contact surface 12 is formed, between which surfaces the sealing ring 13 is inserted.
This sealing ring is expediently made of a soft plastic so that it adapts to any unevenness, seals tightly, absorbs practically no water and has a long service life.

The connection and Dichtungseinrich described device enables easy assembly and disassembly of the toilet bowl to connect to or remove from the drain pipe 9 without having to use soldering lamps, putty and resin bandages.
An extremely good seal is also sufficient so that duct gases are prevented from escaping into the room.
This connection and sealing device can be used for washdown, flush, tongue and suction toilets, as well as wall-hung urinal toilets and bidets.
