<B>Pare-brise amovible pour un</B> véhicule pourvu d'un guidon La présente invention a pour objet un pare-brise amovible pour un véhicule pourvu d'un guidon, notamment pour une motocy clette, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un châssis présentant deux longerons assemblés par deux traverses, ce châssis étant pourvu de deux montants susceptibles de porter, montée amoviblement une des extrémités d'un écran au moins, en matière souple, l'autre extrémité de celui-ci étant destinée à s'enrouler autour d'un tambour monté rotativement sur ledit châssis, des moyens étant aménagés pour fixer ce dernier sur le guidon d'un véhicule.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution du pare-brise ob jet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue de face en éléva tion ; la fig. 2 est une vue en coupe suivant<I>11-11</I> de la fig. 1 ; la fig. 3 est une vue en coupe suivant<I>111-</I> <I>111-</I> de la fig. 1.
Le pare-brise représenté comprend un châssis métallique 1 comportant un longeron rectiligne 2 et un longeron cintré 3 assemblés au moyen de deux traverses 4 et 5 ; entre ces dernières et le longeron 3 sont aménagés deux bossages 6 pourvus de deux creusures 7 ; dans chacune de celles-ci est logée l'extrémité infé rieure d'un montant métallique 8 présentant un flasque 9 pourvu d'une ouverture de gui dage 10 parallèle au montant 8 ; chaque flas que 9 est fixé au bossage correspondant 6 à l'aide d'un boulon 11 dont la tige est disposée au travers de l'ouverture 10 envisagée.
L'ex trémité supérieure de chaque montant 8 pré sente une mortaise 12 dans laquelle est engagé amoviblement un tenon 13 faisant partie d'une armature 14 fixée sur l'une des extrémités d'un écran souple transparent 15 en matière thermoplastique, en polyéthylène par exemple.
L'armature 14 comprend deux bandes mé talliques cintrées 16 et 17 entre lesquelles sont fixés au moyen de vis 18 un flasque métallique 19 et l'extrémité supérieure de l'écran 15 ; le flasque 19 porte, par l'intermédiaire de vis 20, une plaque rigide cintrée 21, en résine synthé tique par exemple, constituant un second écran.
Le longeron cintré 3 présente une fente longitudinale 22 dans laquelle est destiné à se déplacer l'écran souple 15 dont l'autre extré mité est immobilisée au moyen d'une plaque 25 et de vis 26 sur un tambour 23 monté ro- tativement sur le châssis 1 parallèlement à l'entretoise 2, ce tambour 23 étant muni d'une manivelle 24. Le longeron 3 comprend une partie 27 faisant partie du châssis 1 et, vissée sur ce dernier, une partie 28 ; les parties 27 et 28, entre lesquelles est ménagée la fente 22, portent, en regard, des garnitures de feutre 29 destinées à frotter sur l'écran 15.
Le tambour 23 est pourvu d'une roue dentée 30 avec laquelle peut venir en prise un tenon 31 mobile longitudinalement dans un cy lindre 32 soudé sur la traverse 5, ce tenon étant soumis à l'action d'un ressort de rappel non représenté logé dans le cylindre 32.
Le longeron 2 porte deux bagues 33 et 34 susceptibles d'être fixées sur le guidon d'un véhicule. Le pare-brise représenté est utilisé comme suit Lorsqu'il s'agit d'abaisser la plaque 21 et d'enrouler l'écran 15 autour du tambour 23, l'armature 14 dont la courbure est pareille à celle du longeron 3 est dégagée des montants 8 qui sont parallèles, les tenons 13 étant, à cet effet, retirés manuellement des mortaises 12, puis le tambour 23 est actionné rotativement au moyen de la manivelle 24 pour enrouler l'écran 15 autour de celui-ci, et cela jusqu'à ce que l'armature 14 vienne en contact avec le longeron 3 ;
auparavant, les écrous des boulons 11 ont été désserrés, les montants 8 dégagés des creusures 7 et déplacés rotativement au tour desdits boulons 11 pour être logés entre les longerons 2 et 3 ; les tenons 13 sont alors engagés dans les creusures 7 correspondantes, et le tambour 23 immobilisé au moyen du te non 31.
Lorsqu'il s'agit de monter la plaque 21 et l'écran 15, le tambour 23 est libéré du tenon 31, les tenons 13 sont retirés des creusures 7 où ils sont remplacés par les extrémités infé rieures des montants 8, puis une traction est effectuée manuellement par l'intermédiaire de l'armature 14, sur l'écran 15 de façon à as surer le déroulement de celui-ci et cela jusqu'à ce que les tenons 13 puissent être introduits dans les mortaises 12, le tambour 23 étant alors bloqué au moyen du tenon 31, et les montants 8 immobilisés à l'aide des boulons 11.
Il est prévu dans une variante d'exécution de fixer seulement l'écran 15 à l'armature 14, l'écran 21 étant supprimé, et de réaliser des montants 8 à emboîtement télescopique.

The windshield shown comprises a metal frame 1 comprising a rectilinear spar 2 and a curved spar 3 assembled by means of two cross members 4 and 5; between the latter and the spar 3 are arranged two bosses 6 provided with two recesses 7; in each of these is housed the lower end of a metal upright 8 having a flange 9 provided with a guide opening 10 parallel to the upright 8; each flange 9 is fixed to the corresponding boss 6 by means of a bolt 11, the rod of which is disposed through the opening 10 envisaged.
The upper end of each upright 8 has a mortise 12 in which is removably engaged a tenon 13 forming part of a frame 14 fixed to one of the ends of a transparent flexible screen 15 of thermoplastic material, of polyethylene by example.
The frame 14 comprises two curved metal bands 16 and 17 between which are fixed by means of screws 18 a metal flange 19 and the upper end of the screen 15; the flange 19 carries, by means of screws 20, a curved rigid plate 21, in synthetic resin for example, constituting a second screen.
The curved spar 3 has a longitudinal slot 22 in which the flexible screen 15 is intended to move, the other end of which is immobilized by means of a plate 25 and screws 26 on a drum 23 mounted rotatably on the frame 1 parallel to the spacer 2, this drum 23 being provided with a crank 24. The side member 3 comprises a part 27 forming part of the frame 1 and, screwed onto the latter, a part 28; the parts 27 and 28, between which the slot 22 is formed, bear, opposite, felt linings 29 intended to rub on the screen 15.
The drum 23 is provided with a toothed wheel 30 with which can engage a tenon 31 movable longitudinally in a cylinder 32 welded to the cross member 5, this tenon being subjected to the action of a not shown return spring housed in cylinder 32.
The spar 2 carries two rings 33 and 34 capable of being fixed to the handlebars of a vehicle. The windshield shown is used as follows When it comes to lowering the plate 21 and winding the screen 15 around the drum 23, the frame 14, the curvature of which is the same as that of the spar 3 is released uprights 8 which are parallel, the tenons 13 being, for this purpose, manually removed from the mortises 12, then the drum 23 is rotated by means of the crank 24 to wrap the screen 15 around it, and that until 'so that the frame 14 comes into contact with the side member 3;
previously, the nuts of the bolts 11 have been loosened, the uprights 8 released from the recesses 7 and moved rotatably around said bolts 11 to be housed between the side members 2 and 3; the tenons 13 are then engaged in the corresponding recesses 7, and the drum 23 immobilized by means of the no 31.
When it comes to mounting the plate 21 and the screen 15, the drum 23 is released from the tenon 31, the tenons 13 are removed from the recesses 7 where they are replaced by the lower ends of the uprights 8, then a traction is carried out manually by means of the frame 14, on the screen 15 so as to surer the course of the latter and this until the tenons 13 can be introduced into the mortises 12, the drum 23 being then locked by means of the tenon 31, and the uprights 8 immobilized using the bolts 11.
It is provided in an alternative embodiment to fix only the screen 15 to the frame 14, the screen 21 being removed, and to produce uprights 8 with telescopic interlocking.
