4-Nitro-6-carbäthoxy-amino-2-amino-l-oxy- benzol, 6-Nitro-4-methyl-2-amino-l-oxybenzol, 6-Nitro-4-tert.butyl-2-amino-l-oxybenzol, . 6-Nitro-4-acetylamino-2-amino-l-oxybenzol, 4-Nitro-2-amino-l-methoxybenzol, 6-Nitro-4-chlor-2-amino-l-oxybenzol, 5-Nitro-2-amino-l-oxybenzol, 5-Nitro-4-ehlor-2-amino-l-oxybenzol, 5-Nitro-4-methyl-2amino-l-oxybenzol, 4-Chlor-2-amino-1-oxybenzol, 4, 6-Dichlor-2-amino-l-oxybenzol,
Man erhält sie leicht entweder durch Ankuppeln von 3,4-Di- methyl-l-oxy Benzol, Reduktion des Monoazo- farbstoffes unter Isolierung des 1-Oxy-3;
Beispiel. 1

Process for the production of complex heavy metal compounds of monoazo dyes The subject of the present patent is a process for the production of complex heavy metal compounds of monoazo dyes. The method is characterized in that one.
Benzene diazonium compound. which in the o-position to the Dia.zo- group contains a substituent capable of metal complex formation and can otherwise be further substituted with such a 4-methyl-l-oxybenzene compound which has another in the 2- and 5-positions Contains methyl and an acylamino group; and the dye obtained is treated with metal-releasing agents.
The new metal-containing monoazo dyes result in genuine, red-brown, brown to brown-violet colorations on natural or synthetic polypeptide fibers, with the metallization being carried out in substance before the coloring.
Fence Dyeing of natural or synthetic polypeptide fibers such as wool, silk, super polyamide and super polyurethane fibers from weakly alkaline, neutral to weakly acidic liquor in real red-brown, brown to brown-violet shades, those complex chromium and cobalt connections, which 2 Contain unsulfated dye molecules bound to a heavy metal atom.
They are expediently used in the form of their alkali salts, for example in the form of the lithium, sodium, potassium or ammonium salts, in the presence of anionic wetting and dispersing agents in a neutral to slightly acidic bath.
The following diazo components, for example, are suitable for the production of the monoazo dyes: 4-nitro-2-amino-1-oxybenzene, 4-1 \ titro-6-methyl-2-amino-1-oxybenzene, 4-nitro-6-chloro- 2-amino-1-oxybenzene, 4-nitr o-2-amino-1-oxybenzene-6-sulfonic acid, dimethyl or diethylamide, 4-nitro-6-methylsulfonyl or 4-nitro-6-ethylsulfonyl or 4 -Nitro-6-butylsulfonyl-2-amino-1-oxybenzene,
4-Nitro-6-carbethoxy-amino-2-amino-l-oxybenzene, 6-nitro-4-methyl-2-amino-l-oxybenzene, 6-nitro-4-tert.butyl-2-amino- l-oxybenzene,. 6-nitro-4-acetylamino-2-amino-l-oxybenzene, 4-nitro-2-amino-l-methoxybenzene, 6-nitro-4-chloro-2-amino-l-oxybenzene, 5-nitro-2- amino-l-oxybenzene, 5-nitro-4-chloro-2-amino-l-oxybenzene, 5-nitro-4-methyl-2amino-l-oxybenzene, 4-chloro-2-amino-1-oxybenzene, 4, 6-dichloro-2-amino-1-oxybenzene,
4-nitro-2-amino-l-oxybenzene-6-sulfonic acid, 6-nitro-2-amino-l-oxybenzene-4-sulfonic acid, 4-chloro-2-amino-l-oxybenzene-6 = sulfonic acid, 6- Chloro-4-methylsulfonyl-2-amino = 1-oxybenzene.
Monoazo dyes from a 4-nitro-2-amino-1-oxybenzene compound, which are optionally only replaced in the 6-position by halogen, an alkyl, an acylamino, an alkylsulfonyl, a sulfonic acid amide or Sulphonic acid group is substituted.
The 4-methyl-l-oxybenzene coupling components used, which are substituted in the 2- and 5-positions by a methyl and an acyl amino group, one of these two groups being the o- and the other the m-position in In relation to the hydroxyl group are new.
They are easily obtained either by coupling 3,4-dimethyl-1-oxy benzene, reducing the monoazo dye with isolation of the 1-oxy-3;
4-dimethyl-6-aminobenzene and acylation of the same or by mononitration of 2,4-dimethyl-1-aminobenzene in concentrated sulfuric acid to 1-amino-2,4-dimethyl-5-nitrobenzene, diazotization of the amino group un ter boiling of the diazonium group to the hydroxyl group, reduction of the nitro to the amino group and acylation of the same.
The acyl radicals of the acylamino group of the azo component are preferably radicals of lower fatty acids, for example the acetyl, propionyl, chloroacetyl, methoxyacetyl, ssL-bromopropionyl radical, and also radicals of lower alkylsulphonic acids, for example, methylsulphonylthylsulphonylsulphonyl, chloromethylsulphonyl, for example
as well as residues of the carbonic acid monoesters with. lower alcohols, for example the carbomethoxy, the carbethoxy, the carbomethoxyethoxy, the carbethoxyethoxy radical. The azo components used according to the invention show relatively good coupling power, so that the azo coupling yield is mostly. is technically satisfactory to very good.
The azo coupling is carried out in an alkaline medium, often advantageously in the presence of xagnesium oxide, calcium hydroxide and / or of water-soluble tertiary nitrogen bases such as pyridine, triethylamine, methyl or ethyl diethanolamine,
Triethanolamine. The metallization of the monoazo dyes in substance by treatment with chromium or cobalt-releasing agents is expediently carried out in an aqueous solution or suspension in the heat, openly or under pressure, with alkali metal ylatomates being advantageous for chromium and cobalt salts for cobalting alkaline reaction of the agent can be used.
The metallicization of unsulfated o-alkoxyazo dyes with replacement of the alkoxy group by the hydroxyl group is expediently carried out in organic solution at higher temperatures, for example at 120-160 ° C., in formamide or alkylene glycol with chromium salts.
In the process according to the invention, uniform monoazo dyes prepared according to the invention or their mixtures with themselves or with other unsulfated o, o'-dioxy or o-carboxy-o'-oxyazo substances can be subjected to metallization.
The alkali salts of the particularly valuable complex chromium and cobalt compounds consisting of 2 unsulphurized dye molecules and a sight metal atom are mostly. clear in the presence of anionic wetting agents and dispersants in hot water and sufficiently soluble to be able to be colored from neutral to slightly acidic liquor.
They dye wool and super polyamide or urethane fibers, depending on their composition and the complexly bound heavy metal, in brown-violet, deep brown to brown-red shades, which are characterized by good to very good lightfastness.
In the following examples, unless otherwise noted, the parts are parts by weight, and the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius. Where parts by volume are expressly mentioned, they are in the same proportion to parts by weight as liters to kilograms. Example. 1
