Fig. 2 zeigt eine Seitenansicht desselben in Gebrauehsstellung.
Drip device for pharmaceutical products
The subject matter of the present invention is a drip device which consists of a bottle, a flange-having, elastic drip pipette which can be stuck into the neck of the bottle and a bottle capsule which presses the flange of the drip pipette sealingly against the bottle neck, the drip pipette having a drip capillary at the end The opening can be closed by a pin provided on the bottle cap, in such a way that after removing the bottle cap, the contents of the bottle can be emptied drop by drop by squeezing the elastic dropper pipette through the dropper capillary.
This dripper has the advantage that it does not require any rubber parts, which are difficult to clean. Since it consists of three parts, it is of simple construction. As a result of the drip capillary present on the dropper pipette, crust formation at the outlet opening is avoided.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing.
Fig. 1 is a vertical section through a sealed dropper, and
Fig. 2 shows a side view of the same in the use position.
1 is a glass bottle with a dropper 3 plugged into its neck 2. This Pi pet-te 3 has a flange 4 and a truncated cone-shaped part, at the end of which a drip capillary 5 is present. This dropper 3 consists of an elastic, sterilizable. ren plastic, e.g. B. a polyamide, advantageously a known manner electronically treated polyethylene. This plastic must be made in such a way that it is heat-resistant at the temperature required for sterilization, and that it nevertheless has the necessary elasticity to be able to deform the dropper pipette by pressing it.
The bottle neck 2 has an external thread onto which the bottle cap 6 made of hard synthetic resin is screwed. r is. This has a deposition 7, which acts on the flange 4 of the pipette 3 when the bottle cap 6 is screwed open and presses the flange 4 tightly against the edge of the neck 2 of the Fla. In the center inside the bottle cap 6 has a mandrel 8 which, when the capsule 6 is screwed in, penetrates the opening of the drip capillary 5 and closes it.
After removing the bottle cap 6 from Gl. As bottle 1, the device can be held in the position shown in FIG. 2 and the dropper 3 can be squeezed between two fingers at the points indicated by arrows 9 in order to empty the bottle contents drop by drop through the drop capillary 5.
Since the drip device described consists of only three parts, it is considerably simpler than previously known devices which consist of four to five parts. The bottle contents can also be completely emptied. When the device is open, i.e. H. is ready for use, because of the small capillary opening, the risk of dust or the like penetrating the solution is lower than with known pipette devices in which the neck opening is about 10 mm.
Furthermore, if the bottle 1 and the dropping pipette 3 are made of transparent material in the new dropper device, they can be checked with regard to their cleanliness, whereas this is not the case with opaque rubber bags.
The dropper is particularly suitable for dispensing eye drop solutions, but can also be used for other pharmaceutical products.
