Electrical contact sensor control for automatic machine tools, especially copying machines. The present invention relates to an electrical contact sensor control for automatic machine tools, especially copier machines, with a sensor whose feeler spindle is deflectable and actuates a contact system built into the sensor.
With most electrical contact sensor controls, electromagnetic clutches are switched on and off due to the deflection of the probe spindle, so that the contours to be copied are scanned in stages. Sensors with only three contacts work e.g. B. so that only one movement is turned on by two mutually perpendicular sup porte, whereby right-angled paragraphs hen entste. In the case of sensors with five contacts, both support movements are switched on simultaneously in the second and fourth command position, so that the sensor moves in the resulting direction.
The steps that still occur here are inclined, which results in better surface fidelity on the workpiece. Such sensor controls scan both contours running in the direction of the support movements, as well as those which are inclined by 45, while steps are created with all other contour inclinations.
The control according to the present invention is characterized in that the sensor has at least two special switch positions, in which only one of two support movements running across each other is switched on and that between these special switch positions there are at least two further switch positions, in which two of the support movements are switched on at the same time, which movements have different speeds than in the special positions, the whole thing in such a way that the resulting movement runs in a different direction in each of these intermediate switching positions.
With reference to the accompanying drawings who set out the exemplary embodiments of the subject invention. They show: Fig. 1 the mode of operation of the sensor for the sensor control, Fig. 2 a control drive with four electromagnetic clutches and an electromagnetic reversing clutch, Fig. 3 and 3a the scheme of a stepless contact sensor control with two rules, each driving four electromagnetic clutches and one electromagnetic reversing clutch each, Fig.

8 and 8a the diagram of a contact sensor control, in which the sensor is equipped with a contact system made of leaf springs and the speed of two electromagnetic clutches is regulated by two pulse generators.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the probe spindle 1 of the sensor is mounted in the ball socket 2 so that it can move on all sides. The ball socket 2 can still be moved in the ring 3 in the axial direction of the probe spindle. The stylus 4, with which the contour of a template can be scanned by the sensor, is located at the lower end of the feeler spindle. The sliding cone 5, which engages in the cone 6, is located at the upper end of the probe spindle. This sits on the lever 7, which can be pivoted around the bearing pin 8.
If the probe spindle is deflected laterally, the slide cone presses the cone with the lever 7 upwards. At the front end of the lever 7 is the brush holder 9, which carries the carbon brush 10, which slides on the contact Klqtz 11 and thereby the switching pulses for the tactile movements of the on one. The machine slide triggers the sensor. The contact block 11 consists of nine Kupferseg inents, between which insulating pieces are arranged. Various types of control drives can be used to move the machine slides.
Fig. 2 shows a variable speed drive with four electromagnetic clutches and one electromagnetic reverse clutch. The control gear 12 is driven by the motor 13 at constant speed. The motor 13 drives the shaft 14 on which the gear 15 is seated. In this gear engages the gear 1.6, which sits on the shaft 17 and the magnetic clutch 18 drives. The magnetic coil of the clutch is excited by the two brushes 19 and 20, whereby the friction plate 21 is attracted, which sits on the shaft 22 in a keyway displaceable bar. The gearwheel 24, which sits on the shaft 25, is driven via the gearwheel 23, which is firmly keyed to the shaft 22.
The bevel gear 26, which drives the two bevel gears 27 and 28, is also attached to the shaft 25. These bevel gears are pot-shaped and carry the friction linings 29 and 30 at the outer end. Depending on whether the coil 31 or 32 receives voltage, the friction plate 33 or 34 is attracted and the output shaft 35 rotates to the left or to the right. The brushes 19 and 20 are connected to a DC circuit via the terminals 36 and 37.
As soon as the magnetic clutch 18 is switched on, the output shaft 35 runs at the lowest speed. The coil 32 is connected to the terminals 38 and 39 and the coil 31 to the terminals 39 and 40. The clutch 41 is fixedly arranged on the shaft 14 and the coil of this electromagnetic clutch can be electrically excited via the brushes 42 and 43.
These brushes are connected to terminals 44 and 45. If the clutch 41 is switched on, the friction plate 46 is attracted and the drive shaft 35 runs at a higher speed. The clutch 47 can be excited via the brushes 48 and 49. These brushes are connected to terminals 50 and 51. The clutch is driven by the gears 15 and 52. The clutch 47 rotates faster than the clutch 41, so that the output shaft 35, when the clutch 47 is switched on, runs at an even higher speed.
The output shaft 35 runs even faster when the magnetic clutch 53 is switched on. The coil of this electro-magnetic coupling is connected to the terminals 54 and 55, the drive is via the wheels 53a, 53b, which are to be thought of to the left of the wheels 15, 52, and up to the bevel gear 26 via four only indicated wheels. The variable speed transmission is designed for four different speeds and the output speed depends on which of the four electromagnetic clutches 18, 41, 47 and 53 is switched on. The direction of rotation of the output shaft 35 depends on whether the coil 31 or the coil 32 of the electromagnetic reverse clutch is switched on.
Fig. 3 shows the scheme of a con tact sensor control with two regulating drives according to FIG. 2, each containing four electromagnetic clutches, as well as a reversing clutch. The contact package with the nine contacts I-IX L and the insulating supports 56, 57, 58, etc. lying between them can be seen in the figure on a larger scale. The relays R1 to R6 are connected to the contact segments I-VI. The brush 10 is connected to the main line N of a direct current network. The coils of all six Re lais R1 to R6 are on the main line P of the direct current network. If the brush 10 is on the segment I, the coil of the relay R1 receives voltage. If the brush 10 is on the segment II, the coil of the relay R2 receives voltage.
In the same way, the coils of the other relays R3 to R6 receive voltage when the brush 10 comes to rest on the corresponding contact segments III to VI.
The contact segment VII is electrically lei tend connected to the contact segment III. The contact segment VIII is connected to the contact segment II, and the contact segment IX to the contact segment I. If the brush 10 comes to rest on the contact segment VI, the coil of the relay R6 receives voltage. If the brush 10 rests on the contact segment VII, the relay R3 picks up. If the brush 10 is on the contact segment VIII, the relay R2 picks up. If the contact brush 10 touches the contact IX, the sink of the relay R1 receives voltage. If the brush 10 comes to rest on the contact VI, the relay R6 picks up and closes its normally open contact 86a.2, through which the relay R4 is also switched on.
The relay R6 has a further auxiliary contact R6a1, with which it switches on the coil of the switching relay P7. The changeover relay R7 closes its auxiliary contact R7a1 and then maintains itself via the normally closed contact R5r1, so that the changeover remains in effect, even with further sensor commands VII to IX. Go the deflections of the. The feeler spindle of the sensor goes back and it reaches the brush 10, coming from position VII, back to position VI, relay R6 picks up again and with contact R6a2 also switches relay R4 on again, relay R7 is present still on voltage across the normally open contacts R7a1 and the normally closed contact R5r1.
But if the sensor finally moves to position V, that is, if the brush 10 rests on the contact lamella V, the relay R4 drops out, and then the relay R6 and the relay R7 too. The relay R5 opens the normally closed contact R5r1, whereby the relay R7 drops out and the drive 12 is switched back to the other direction of rotation. The relay R7 is used to reverse the direction of rotation of the drive and the two control drives .12 and 61 are controlled by the relays R1 to R7. Through the rule drive 12, the spindle 62 is driven and thereby the spindle nut 63 is moved in the direction A -B.
Through the Regelan drive 61, the threaded spindle 64 is ben driven and thereby the spindle nut 65 is moved in the direction C-D. The cross support of a sensor-controlled lathe is to be moved through the spindle nut 63 and the longitudinal support is to be moved through the spindle nut 65. The workpiece 68 into which the contour scanned by the sensor is to be cut is seated on the faceplate 66 of the lathe, which is mounted in the headstock 67. On the transverse support of the lathe, the sensor is attached, which scans the fixed Scha blone 69 (Fug. 3a).
If the sensor is still exposed, i.e. if it does not touch the template, the longitudinal support should move to the left in direction C. In this position, the brush 10 rests on contact I of the contact path. The relay R1 is switched on and closes its normally open contact 70 (R141), through which the control drive 61 is switched on to its highest speed. The terminal 71 of the control drive 61 is connected to the main line N of the direct current network. The terminal 72 is connected to the terminal 79 of the normally open contact 70 or (R1a1).
The terminal 80 of this work contact is connected to the main line P. The electromagnetic clutch 81 receives voltage through the relay R1 and the spindle 64 'rotates at the highest speed. The magnetic reverse clutch is also switched on. The terminal 85 is conductively connected to the normally closed contact 89 (RV,) of the relay R7, which is on the Hauptlei device 'P'. The terminal 86 of the reversing clutch 90 is connected to the main line N a related party. So there is the coil 90 of the electro magnetic reversing clutch 88 on tension, whereby the longitudinal support with the spindle nut 65 moves in the C direction.
Since the transverse support, which carries the tool and the feeler, sits on the longitudinal support, the feeler spindle of the feeler approaches the template contour 69. As soon as the feeler touches the template, the feeler spindle 1 (joint 1) is deflected and thereby the brush 10 upwards moved until it comes to rest on the contact segment II. Relay R1 now drops out while relay R2 is switched on: Relay R2 closes its two working contacts 91 (R2a1) and 92 (R2a2), which now switches on the two control drives 12 and 61. Both the transverse movement in direction A and the longitudinal movement in direction C are now running.
Through the contact 91 (R2a1), the terminal 36 of the electromagnetic hitch ment 18 of the variable speed drive 12 is connected to voltage. The threaded spindle 62 rotates at the lowest speed. Through the contact 92 (R2a.2) the terminal 74 of the control drive receives 61 voltage. The magnetic coupling 8'2 is now switched on, and the threaded spindle 64 rotates at a slower speed than before. If the probe spindle is deflected even more so that the brush 10 comes to rest on contact III, the relay R3 picks up. The relay R3 closes its two normally open contacts 93 (Mal) and 94 (R3a2), while the relay R2 drops out.
The normally open contact 93 (Mal) provides voltage to terminal 45 of clutch 41, which means that the control drive now rotates even faster. Through the contact 94 (R3a2) the terminal 76 of the coupling 83 receives voltage, so that the control drive 61 turns a little slower than before. If the brush 10 comes to rest on contact IV, the relay R4 receives voltage and it closes its working contacts 95 (R4a1) and 96 (R4a2). Terminal 51 receives voltage through contact 95 (R4a1), to which the coupling 47 of the variable speed drive 12 is connected.
Through the contact <I> 96 </I> (R4a2) the terminal 78 of the control drive 61 receives voltage and the coupling 84 is now switched on. The control drive 61 runs at its lowest speed, while the control drive 12 runs at a higher speed than before.
If the brush 10 comes to rest on the contact V due to the increasing sensor deflection, the relay R4 first drops out, i.e. the coil of the relay R4 is de-energized and the control drive 61 is completely switched off, while the short-circuited working contact 97 (R .5a1) of the relay R5, the terminal 55 is connected to voltage and now the magnetic clutch 53 of the control drive 12 is switched on. The transverse movement in direction A runs at the greatest speed. If the probe spindle of the sensor is deflected even further, the brush 10 comes to rest on the contact VI, whereby the relay R6 is switched on.
The relay R6 closes its normally open contact R6a1, which receives voltage from the switchover relay R7 and switches the drive 61 to a different direction of rotation. The second working contact R6a2 also switches on relay R4, which closes its working contacts 95 (R4a1) and 96 (R4a2). The drive 61 runs at its lowest speed, where the clutch 84 is switched on, while the control drive is now running a little slower because the clutch 47 is switched on. The changeover relay R7 holds itself via its normally open contact R7al and the closed normally closed contact R5r1, so that it then also remains switched on when the brush 10 moves further upwards.
Fig. 4 shows the support movements occurring with the various sensor deflections. As can be seen from this figure, only one movement is switched on for sensor commands I, V and IX, while for sensor commands II, III and IV, as well as VI, VII and VIII, two movements are always running simultaneously. In the sensor command II, however, the ratio of the speed of the longitudinal movement to the transverse movement is different, such as. B. at the sensor command III, which gives a different direction of the resulting movement.
Fig. 5 shows the operation of a stepless contact sensor control, which is equipped with pulse generators in, through which the speed of electromagnetic Regelan drives is regulated. The same sensor can be used for this control. The operation of the relays R1 to R7 is also the same as described. In the pulse generator 99 and 100 consist of a wal zen-shaped insulating body on which metal segments are placed. The wedge-shaped segments 101, 102, 103 sit on the roller. Both pulse generators are driven by a common drive at constant speed. For this purpose, a sprocket is seated on the shaft 104 and rotated via the chain 105.
The drive can be taken from any machine shaft 106. The slip ring 107, which is conductively connected to the segments 101, 10.2 and 103, is still seated on the roller 99. The brush 108 rests on this slip ring 107. By the control motor 109 the Ge threaded spindle 6.2 is driven for the transverse movement. The threaded spindle 64 for the longitudinal movement of the machine slide is driven by the control motor 110. The Re gelmotor 109 has a three-phase current stand, the winding. are connected to the RST terminals of the three-phase network. An electrically excited armature rotates in the stator of the motor. This has a winding and the winding ends lead to the slip rings.
The carbon brushes sit on the slip rings. The one carbon brush of the armature of the motor 109 is connected to the brush 108. The brush 117 is conductively connected to the corresponding brush of the motor 110. The other carbon brush can either be connected to the main line N of a direct current network, or connected to terminal P. On the regulator roller 99 the Bür most 112, 113, 114 and 115 are also arranged at certain intervals. Through the working contacts of the relays R1 to R5 who these brushes switched on one after the other. Closes z.
B. the relay R5 its working contact 97 (R5a), it is thereby. the brush 1.15- is connected to the main line P. If a direct current network is connected to the terminals N and P, the armature of the motor 1.09 is excited with direct current via the closed normally open contact R.5a. You can also connect terminal N to terminal P, then the short-circuit current that occurs in the armature flows through these terminals. As a result, the armature of the motor 109 rotates at the same speed as the rotating field of the stator.
If the relay R4 is switched on and the relay closes its normally open contact 95 (R4a1), the brush 114 is connected to voltage. Since the segments 102, 103 have certain distances in this brush position, the armature of the motor 109 is only excited in pulses. The speed of the motor 10-9 is correspondingly lower for this reason.
If the relay R3 is switched on by the sensor, this closes its normally open contact 93 and the brush 113 is then connected to the terminal P in a conductive manner. The distances between the segments 101, 102 and 103 are even greater in the position that the brush 103 assumes. The armature of the motor 109 therefore receives even shorter switching pulses when the shift drum 99 rotates and the armature rotates even more slowly.
If the brush 10 rests on the contact II, it holds the relay R2 voltage and closes its normally open contact 91, whereby the brush 112 is conductively connected to the terminal P and the armature of the motor 109 receives even shorter switching pulses. If the brush 10 is finally in the lowest position of the contact track, the relay R1 is switched on, and in this position the armature of the regulating motor 109 is de-energized.
Due to the normally open contact 70 (R1a), however, the brush 11 of the second regulator roller 100 is energized, so that the armature of the regulating drive 110 is constantly excited via the slip ring 116 and the brush 117. The brush 118 is turned on by the Arbeitsskon clock 92 (R2a2) of the relay R2. The brush 119 is connected to the main line P through the normally open contact 94 of the relay R3. The brush 120 will connect to the main line through the normally open contact 96 (R4a2) of the relay R4. If the Füh ler is free, and so the probe spindle does not touch the template, the brush rests on the lowest contact segment I, whereby the relay R1 is switched on.
The further the probe spindle is deflected, the more the brush moves upwards on the contact track 11, thereby successively actuating the relays R2. to R6. In the lowermost position of the contact brush 10, only the control motor 110 runs at maximum speed, whereby the spindle nut 65 with the longitudinal support is moved in direction C.
The speed of the motor 110 then decreases more and more, as shown in FIG. 5a, while the speed of the control motor 109 for the transverse movement increases accordingly. If the brush 10 is on the contact V, the motor 109 runs at maximum speed while the control motor 110 is at a standstill. If the brush 10 then comes to rest on the contact VI, the normally open contact R6a1 closes, where voltage is obtained from the coil of the relay R7 and is maintained via the normally open contact R7a1 and the normally closed contact R5r1.
The relay R7 switches the direction of rotation of the stator rotating field from the motor 110, so that it now rotates in the opposite direction. The brush 115 is connected to the terminal P through the normally open contact R5al, so that the drive 109 runs at maximum speed while the drive 110 is switched off. The further up the brush 10 wan changes, the more the speed of the drive 109 decreases again, and that of the drive 61 increases. The switchover relay R7 remains switched on and only drops out again when the sensor deflection is reduced and the brush 10 finally comes from the contact VI to the contact V.
The relay R5 then receives voltage and opens the normally closed contact <I> 85r1, </I> whereby the relay R7 drops out. This means that the changeover relay R7 drops out again immediately when the sliding contact 10 slides down on the contact track 11, that is to say comes to rest on the contact V from the contacts IX to VI.
. 6 shows an electromagnetic control drive with a three-phase current stand and an armature excited by direct current. Like in Switzerland. Patent specifications No. 314087, class 96 g, dated 2.12, 1952 and No. 320542, class 111 c, dated 15.12.
Already described in 1953, this regulating motor has a normal three-phase current stator .124, which can have two, four or six poles. The armature 125 consists of layered dynamo sheet metal and sits on the shaft 126. The armature is provided with a winding, the ends of which are led to the slip rings 127 and 128. The two sit on the slip rings. Carbon brushes 129 and 130, which are connected to a direct current network. If the armature is excited with constant direct current, it rotates at the same speed as the rotating field in the armature.
However, if the armature is only excited in pulses by direct current, the motor speed is reduced. The longer the switching pauses between the individual pulses, the lower the speed of the motor.
FIG. 7 shows a lamella pack with XIII contact segments with which twenty-five movements running in different directions can be controlled by the sensor in the sense of FIG. 7a. The thickness of the insulating pieces 56, 57, .58 etc. is smaller than the thickness of the brush 10, so that it can also rest on two contact segments at the same time, resulting in several intermediate stages that significantly improve the work process.
At the contact segment X another relay R7 is closed, through which the switching of the transverse movement is effected, the relay R7 is provided with a self-holding contact and only drops off again when the brush 10 moves down the contact path again and the contact segment X leaves.
Fig. 7a shows the support movements occurring in the various sensor deflections when the brush sliding on the contact package built in the sensor is wider than the insulating pieces lying between the contact segments. Between the sensor kornmandos I, II, III, IV and V are still the sensor commands I / II and II / III and III / IV or IV / V, which arise from the fact that the brush 10 simultaneously on two con tact segments, z. B. I and II comes to rest. In the figure, these movements and the associated brush positions are shown.
When the sensor command I, that is, when the brush 10 only rests on the contact I, the longitudinal motor runs at 100 percent speed while the transverse motor is switched off. If the brush 10 rests on both contacts I and II, the longitudinal motor is also still running at maximum speed. The transverse engine, however, runs at the lowest speed Geschwin, the z. B. 2511 / o of the maximum speed can be.
There is thus a different direction of the resulting movement than with the sensor command II. With your sensor command II, the brush 10 rests on the contact segment II and the longitudinal motor runs at a lower speed, the z. B. 75 0 / o of the maximum speed. Since the motor for the transverse drive runs at a speed of 25 0 / o of its maximum speed, the resulting direction of movement is different from that of command I; II. The same applies to all other intermediate commands. With .dem probe command III run z. B. Both drive motors at half speed, where the resulting movement runs at an angle of 45.
With the Fühlerkom mando III / IV only the speed of the transverse motor is increased, from 50 to 75 0 / o, while that of the longitudinal motor remains the same. Only with the sensor command IV is the speed of the longitudinal motor reduced to 25 0/0, so that the resulting direction of the combined movement is below one. different angle than in command III / IV. In order to be able to carry out back-turning work on the sensor-controlled lathe, the number of contacts was increased and a relay R7 connected to contact X, which converts the.
Switching the control motor of the Querbewegun conditions in the same way as the relay R6 described carries out the switching of the longitudinal movement. With the thirteen contacts of the contact path and seven relays, twenty-five different sensor commands and movements are mastered. The control works practically continuously as a result of the large number of different types of command levels, which still has the advantage; that in the case of strong contour changes, e.g.
B. when scanning corners, through the sensor immediately the Regelan drives are switched to the required drive speeds. No adjustment of any control element is necessary. The individual contact segments can be made of thin copper or brass sheet, and layers of mica can be inserted between the sheets as insulating layers, so that you can manage with .short switching paths of the brush 10. The translation provided in the sensor results in very small switching paths, which is very important for the accuracy that can be achieved when copying.
Instead of a lamella pack, the sensor can also be equipped with a contact system consisting of leaf spring contacts. Furthermore, an electromagnetic clutch can be provided for driving the support movements, which, like the control motor described, is operated with variable direct current pulses, whereby the speed of the clutch can be regulated.
Fig. 7b shows the two control rollers of the pulse generator with the brushes A, B, <I> C, </I> D, E.
8 shows the working principle of a further multi-stage contact sensor control system, the sensor being equipped with a contact system of leaf springs and the output speed of two electromagnetic clutches being regulated by two pulse generators. The test spindle 1 is mounted in the ball socket 2 to be movable on all sides from steerable. The slide pin 5, which engages in the cone 6, sits at the upper end of the test spindle. By deflecting the test spindle, the block 131 is moved upwards.
On this block sit the lugs 132, 133, 134 and 1.35, through which the leaf springs 136, 137, 138 and 139 bent upwards who the. The five relays R1 to R5 are actuated one after the other by the deflection of the probe's test spindle. In command position I, relays <I> R2, R3, </I> R4 and R5 are switched on. Relay R2 receives voltage via the closed contact pair 140/136. The upper end of the relay coil is on the main line P of the direct current network and the lower end of the coil is connected to the con tact 140 on which the tongue 136 rests, which is connected to the main line N of the direct current network. Relay R3 receives voltage via contact 141.
The tongue 138, which is also conductively connected to the main line N, rests on this contact. The relay R4 is switched on by the contact 142 on which the tongue 139 rests. This tongue is also connected to the main line N. The relay R5 he holds on the contact 143 voltage on which the tongue 137 rests. If the sensor comes into command position II, the contact tongue 136 is bent upwards through the nose 132 and the contact pair 136/140 is opened. The relay R2 drops out. In the command position III, the tongue 138 is bent upwards through the nose 134 and thereby the contact pair 138/141 is opened, whereby the relay R3 drops out.
If the test spindle of the sensor is steered even more so that it reaches the command position IV, the contact tongue 139 is raised through the nose 135 and the contact pair 139/142 is opened, causing the relay R4 to drop. In the command position V, the contact 144 is closed by the tongue 13.6, whereby the relay R1 is switched on. In the case of the sensor command V I, the pair of contacts 137/143 is opened, with the nose 133 lifting the contact tongue 137; this causes relay R5 to drop out. When command VII, the tongue 139 touches the contact 145, whereby the relay R4 is switched on again. When the sensor command VIII, the tongue 138 touches the contact 146, whereby the relay R3 is switched on again.
When the sensor command IX, the contact tongue 137 touches the contact 147, whereby the relay R2 is switched on again. Through the contacts of these relays the brushes of the pulse generator 99 and 100 are successively ruled out so that the output part of the electromagnetic reversing clutches 147 and 148 run at different average speeds. The structural design and the way in which these two electromagnetic reversing clutches correspond to the Umkehrkupp ment of the control gear shown in FIG. The drive shaft 149 of the electromagnetic reversing clutch 147 is driven at a constant speed.
In the same way, the drive shaft 1'50 of the electromagnetic reversing clutch 148 is also driven at a constant speed. In the case of the sensor command I, the transverse movement runs at full speed, as can be seen from FIG. 8a. Relays R2 to R5 are switched on, while relay R1 is de-energized.
The relay R1 has therefore closed its normally closed contact 151, while the normally open contact 152 of the relay R2 and the normally open contact 153 of the relay R3, as well as the normally open contact 1'54 of the relay R4, are closed. The terminal 156 of the electromagnetic reversing clutch 147 is connected to the main line P via the closed normally open contact 155 of the relay R5, so that the magnetic clutch is constantly switched on and the shaft 62 runs at maximum speed. The magnetic reversing clutch 148, however, is switched off. One end of the coil of the magnetic coupling 147 is connected to the terminal 156, while the other end is connected to the terminal 157, which is connected to the main line N.
In the sensor command position II, the relay R2 drops out, as already described, whereby the normally open contact 152 of the relay R2 opens. The relay R2 closes its rest contact 158 and the magnetic clutch 147 now receives a pulsed voltage via the pulse generator 99. The contact brush 108 is connected to the main line P via the closed normally closed contact 151 of the relay R1. The brush 114 receives voltage in pulses via the conductive segments 101 and 10e. The brushes 113 and 112 have no influence here.
The electromagnetic clutch is switched on in pulses, whereby the speed of the spindle 62 is reduced to 75% of the maximum speed. The brush 117 is now connected to the main line P of the direct current network via the closed normally closed contact 159 of the relay R2. Via the brush 120 of the pulse generator 100, the second electromagnetic Umkehrkupp treatment 148 receives pulsed voltage. Since the wedge-shaped conductive segments are very narrow in this brush position, the switch-on times are very short and the threaded spindle 64 only runs at a speed that is approximately 25% of the maximum speed.
When the sensor is in command position III, the relay R3 also drops out, as a result of which the normally open contact 153 of the relay R3 is opened and the magnetic reversing clutch 147 'is thus fed via the brush 113.
The magnetic coupling now receives current pulses with larger switching pauses, so that the speed of the threaded spindle 62 is only 50% of the maximum speed. The brush 119 of the pulse generator 100 is now connected to the magnetic coupling 148 via the closed normally closed contact 160 of the relay R3, so that the threaded spindle 64 for the longitudinal movement also runs at a speed of 50 0 / a of the maximum speed.
Since both electromagnetic clutches run at the same speed, the resulting movement of the sensor is undershot in command position III. an angle of 45.
When the sensor command position IV, the relay R4 drops, whereby the working contact 154 of the relay R4 is opened. The electromagnetic reversing clutch 147 is now only fed via the brush 112 and the clutch receives very short switching pulses, so that the spindle 62 rotates at a speed of about 25 0 / o the maximum speed.
The normally closed contact 161 of the relay R4 is now also closed, so that the magnetic clutch 148 is fed via the brush 118 and runs at a speed of approximately 75% of the maximum speed. When i the sensor command V pulls the relay R1 and thereby the normally closed contact 151 ge opens. The parallel to this, rest contact 162 of the relay R5 is still open, because this relay only comes to the next command position to drop.
The magnetic clutch 147 is completely switched off, while the relay R1 connects the magnetic clutch 148 directly to the direct current network through the closed normally open contact 163 and the shaft 64 therefore runs at maximum speed. At the sensor command position V I, the relay R5 drops out, which means that the normally open contact 155 opens this relay and the normally closed contact 164 is closed. As a result, the electromagnetic clutch 147 is switched to the. other direction of rotation. The terminal 156 of the reverse clutch is now de-energized, while the terminal 165 is connected to the brush 112 of the pulse generator 99 via the closed normally closed contact 164.
The brush 108 lies over the. closed normally closed contact 162 of the relay R5 on the main line P and he holds the magnetic reversing clutch 147 short switching pulses so that the shaft 62 rotates at a speed of about 25 0 / o of the maximum paint speed. The relay R5 has also opened the normally open contact 166, so that the clutch 148 is now fed again via the brush 118.
The spindle 64 now rotates somewhat more slowly than before, that is to say at a speed of approximately 75% of the maximum speed. When the sensor command VII, the relay R4 is switched on again, whereby the normally open contact 154 of the relay R4 is closed. The magnetic reversing clutch 147 now receives voltage via the brush 113 of the pulse generator 99 and the shaft 62 rotates at a middle speed of 50 0 / o of the maximum speed. The normally closed contact 161 of the relay R4 is now also open, so that the magnetic coupling 148 is fed via the brush 119.
The shaft 64 also rotates at the mean speed of 50% of the maximum speed. At the sensor command VIII the relay R3 is finally switched on, where the normally open contact 153 closes and the magnetic coupling 147 is fed via the brush 114. The shaft 62 now runs at a speed of approximately 75% of the maximum speed. The relay R3 has also opened the normally closed contact 160, so that the magnetic coupling 148 is fed by the brush 120 of the pulse generator 100. The spindle 64 rotates very slowly, that is to say with a speed of 25% of the maximum speed.
When the sensor command IX, the relay R2 is switched on and thereby the normally open contact 152 is closed and the normally closed contact 158 is opened. The magnetic hitch 147 is directly connected to the direct current network and is continuously switched on. The shaft 62 thus runs at the maximum speed. Since the normally closed contact 159 of the relay R2 is now open, the magnetic reversing clutch 148 is switched off for the longitudinal movement. Instead of the electromagnetic reverse couplings, other controllable drive elements can of course also be provided. So you can z. B. also provide Leon hard motors that are fed by direct current generators.
The magnetic fields of the direct current generators can be fed via resistors and their taps. If the different taps of the various resistors are switched on one after the other by the relays of the sensor controls, the described types of movement can also be controlled. It is also advisable to select the different speeds of the feed movements so that a uniform feed speed is achieved for all contours.
To achieve this, the speed levels must be graded according to the sine and cosine law, which is achieved by setting the brushes on the pulse generator or; with the Leonhard drives, can be achieved by selecting the appropriate resistance taps.
The sensor control described can also be used for copying machines in which a longitudinal movement and a rotary table movement are to be controlled. The resulting movements are then not straight, but curved.
