Cette boîte est caractérisée par le fait que son fond est en deux parties, l'une, centrale, ronde, se vissant à l'intérieur de la carrure qui est de forme, et l'autre constituée par un cadre qui est de forme, extérieurement et pré sente une ouverture ronde pour loger la partie centrale, ce cadre étant serré entre cette partie et la carrure.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en plan de des sous et la fig. 2 une coupe à plus grande échelle par II-11 de la fig. 1.
La boîte de montre étanche représentée est constituée par une boîte de montre-brace let carrée. Sa carrure 1, a cette forme ; quant à son fond 2, il est constitué d'une partie cen trale ronde<I>2a</I> et d'un cadre<I>2b,</I> de forme extérieure carrée, et présentant une ouverture ronde 3, dans laquelle est engagée la partie centrale. Celle-ci présente un rebord annulaire 4 fileté et qui se visse dans un taraudage 5 de la carrure, pratiqué aux points de tangence du rebord avec celle-ci.
Le cadre 2b présente in térieurement un épaulement 6 limitant avec la carrure une première chambre annulaire, dans laquelle est disposé un paquetage 7 et avec la partie centrale une deuxième chambre, dans laquelle est disposé un paquetage à sec tion droite rectangulaire 8.
Lorsqu'on visse la partie centrale dans la carrure, elle applique le cadre 2b contre celle- ci et produit en même temps le serrage des deux paquetages ; le paquetage 7, à- section droite circulaire, s'aplatit alors légèrement et devient elliptique.

The waterproof watch case shown consists of a square watch strap case. Its middle 1 has this shape; as for its bottom 2, it consists of a round central part <I> 2a </I> and a frame <I> 2b, </I> of square exterior shape, and having a round opening 3, in which the central part is engaged. This has an annular flange 4 which is threaded and which is screwed into an internal thread 5 of the middle part, made at the points of tangency of the flange therewith.
The frame 2b internally has a shoulder 6 limiting with the middle part a first annular chamber, in which is disposed a package 7 and with the central part a second chamber, in which is disposed a package with rectangular straight section 8.
When the central part is screwed into the caseband, it applies the frame 2b against it and at the same time produces the tightening of the two packages; the package 7, with a circular cross-section, then flattens slightly and becomes elliptical.
